    What a great review/demonstration! It's amazing how far they have come with these impact drivers, the 20V pack is more then enough for the average person doing a rotation or maintenance. Awesome!

    Just bought a hercules for my work as an express lube. I initially tried a craftsman of the same size that had only 350 ft lbs and it barely got half the lug nuts off a customers wheel after multiple tries so I came looking for another one with much more torque and this one seems to be perfect but I might update this comment after a day or so using my new hercules high torque model as I don't think I need the 1400 ft lbs as the 1200 ft lbs hopefully should be plenty for my purposes taking off lug nuts and back on all day. Im also on a budget too I would be carrying everything snap on if I wasn't lol

    I broke a harbor freight pitsberg half inch impact socket, got it replaced, and broke the replacement immediately (on setting 2!)

    I own the Milwaukee 2767 M18 high torque and the Hercules ultra torque and they both offer identicle performance. I can torque a bolt to 300 ft lbs and they will both brake it in the exact same amount of time. I prefer the hercules to the milwaukee for many reasons, and find that the hercules is typically my go to.

    and hit up ebay for battery adapters to use other brand batteries with it. Thanks for the review!

      I've seen adaptors on eBay, but they all just look like 3d printed adaptors. I did see a RUclips video a while back where a guy was using Hercules batteries on his DeWalt with an adaptor. As my mixed set of Porta Cable and DeWalt tools started to die, I replaced them with Hercules and now nothing is left but blue tools. LOL

      @@1D10CRACY I picked up a PorterCable tool that came with a bunch of batteries. I now use them on 3 different brands. I believe the last adapter I bought on ebay was $12. I sure wish the electronic world would stop the propitiatory game but we know they won't do that$$$$$$

      @@1D10CRACY I just wish Hercules would make just as much cool stuff as Bauer. Seems like Bauer has more stuff and batteries were compatible.

    I haven’t used mine yet. I’ll wait for a zombie apocalypse to use it and just EDC my mid-torque for self-defense situations. 🤣

    I wish you would shown the speed on auto. You only showed 1 to 3 under no load. Because I bought one, and I was wondering if I got a defective unit. On speeds 1 to 3, I can see and hear the low medium and high rpms. But on auto the rpms is slower than on 3. So I was wondering if that was normal or not. Good review though.

    • @jordanbeyer7607

      Normal. It senses a load and will adjust appropriately. So it no load. Low rpms

    Thanks for the review! In auto mode, what torque does it tighten a bolt to before it stops?

    • @JoeMarvino-xx6lm
      @JoeMarvino-xx6lm Год назад

      Any bolt over 1" in length gets torqued to 780 foot pounds. Any bolt under 1" gets torqued to 600 foot pounds.

    • @christianhudspeth3338

      It really depends on your situation if youre the only person in the shop with a lotta time then I would be running an air impact if I had the compressor and everything but if youre working in a shop with other people using the air hose for other stuff then I would go with electric. Nowadays the electric stuff is so good it basically made air tools obsolete especially with the battery tech we have now. Besides the electrics are much lighter to me since I dont have to carry the connecting hose around with the tool all day

    • @terrellscaife2411
      @terrellscaife2411 Год назад

      Yeah I just did a front suspension rebuild on a 2003 Chevy trailblazer and those would be too bulky and long to use with that particular situation I was mostly using the stubby 1/2 Air impact and I had another situation when I was Pressing in one of the lower control arm bushings I ended up using my CP7762 because my KOBALT 1/2 regular size impact wrench didn’t have enough forward torque to Press in the lower bushing by the rack and pinion which had to be removed using the extra large Astro ball joint press but I’m still considering the cordless stuff is now to see which brand to go with I think Dewalt is the most popular than Milwaukee but the harbor freight Hercules stuff is looking good too I’m still on offense

    I just got an ultra and a 12ah battery today for free. I already had the hercules 1/4" impact and the angle grinder. So I had a charger, a 2ah, and a 5ah batteries. See back when I got them the 5ah was the biggest. So today st the store I was checking out the batteries and saw the 8ah. So when I went for a 8 I looked up and saw the 12 and the price tag and chuckled. Every Hercules 20v tool I own was free. Anyway the ultra torque is a mean machine. I had the bare tool for several hours before I got 12ah and it is heavier than piss. When I put the 12 ah on it it looks deadly. Why did they make the new batteries gray?
