Thanks a lot to Colleen for letting me feature her great channel. What she does looks like rocket science to me and her passion for guitars and amps is inspiring. Check out her channel & Patreon! (link in description)
Nothing better for me than unintentional ASMR by someone who is really passionate about what they’re doing and go way in-depth into something which my noggin has not even the slightest tiny wee clue about. Fantabulous! 🙏🙏
This did nothing for me ASMR wise. but I was still glued to my screen the entire time. watching people work on and talk about their craft is always super interesting to me. I probably learned a thing or two about amps today lol
her entire channel is one big unintentional ASMR. but it's also very interesting content and deserves a recognition, nice that such videos are boosting her popularity overall.
Colleen, your approach to diagnosis, and subsequent corrective service is outstanding. You have a genuine appreciation for the rarest vintage amplifiers. I enjoy, and learn from your instruction. Massive cool! Thanks for posting.
Found her more than a few weeks ago, more out of personal interest as a musician who's been more interested in amp electronics than usual lately. Glad to see she's blowing up!!!
I know this isn’t the point of the video but that is easily the prettiest tech I have ever seen. Poor girl probably has a bunch of washed out 40-50 year olds musicians hitting on her constantly.
Omg i did not think there was a woman that does what i and my friends do. Props woman. Amp building is my guru Y-DNA amplification is my amps name. I subscribed to u and i highly enjoyed watchin u work!!!! We are the masters of electrons!!!! Keep on keeping on woman!!!!!
I’m sure that with experience those tangles of components are understandable to technicians, but to me they are completely confusing tangles. This young woman’s knowledge is impressive.
I don't understand a word that she's saying because my brain doesn't do well with technical stuff like lol, but it's very relaxing to listen to! Also she's real cute lol.
I LOVE the way you explain exactly what your doing and how to do it correctly ... you're very diligent and sure know what you're doing.... I can't fault you one little bit .. good lucky with this new series .. you are a breath of fresh air !! I do hope you and I agree on output tube biasing ..a hell of a lot of amp techs don't have a clue ..!
good advice - one hand at a time....remember the current path between arms is thru the heart. But...getting kicked to the floor by current induced muscle contraction can hurt too.

I like UA. It’s real, and not “ t I p I t y t a p s * lip smacking * repeat. Thank your for this content!
You should look into Uncle Dougs amp repair channel. Similar ASMR guitar amp repair vibes
Yeah electricity has always been super confusing to me

Thank you. This channels content is hod, but not so much this one :/
@@govenormayor87 why are you thanking him? wtf 😂
@@retrothecake I mean he’s being real. The ASMR wasn’t good at all, and the content itself was however.
@@govenormayor87 okay apu
Yeah didn't work for me either.

The tradition will live on forever I think
😂😂😂
Amps were never meant to be triangular.
@@alexandret925 lmao
@@alexandret925 They were meant to be square! Like a good, square field! Like a football field! Football! Ireland! Wholemeeeaall!
I like the green to be visible in as many things as possible. Cupla Caaen.
I don't understand a lot of this but it's always interesting to listen to someone who clearly does.
Electronics has always baffled me I wish I could master it.
Master the electronics bruh u got it
Same.
same
I still refer to it as 'magic'.

This is a dream I didn't know I had, but it came true 😂
I get those a lot as well
"the capacitor never meant to be triangular"
Square, like a field.
It happens to the best of us.
I read this in an Irish accent

She's giving me MARCELINE from ADVENTURE TIME vibes
This is real quality content. I could watch her doing repairs while explaining forever

What a cool chick
Those Cali girls!
She is a cool chick. Looks like a girlfriend from the 80s. I love that hairstyle
Took the words right out of my mouth.
She’s a cool cat. Total girlfriend material.
dope voice too
Nothing as relaxing as listening to someone who knows what they're talking about, while you think they're speaking in tongues.
0:17 Girl you already had me shocked at "Hey there."
Ooh! I am a guitar dweeb so this is exactly what I needed to watch today!
Great video! The Naima at the end instantly lifted my mood :)
She is pure gold.
Before I knew it I watched the whole thing. She's so cool and soothing
Who is she? I'm in love with her skillset. She really knows her stuff. Wow, just wow.
This is excellent. I don't even own a guitar.
we skated around a local neighborhood once. she's rad as hell. did not expect colleen to show up in my suggested asmr feed today 😂
Love it Colleen. Make it longer!
I liked the 70's hair part. It tells me a lot more than you might imagine.
Man the way she repairs this drumkit is nice
I know this isn’t the point of the video but that is easily the prettiest tech I have ever seen.
Poor girl probably has a bunch of washed out 40-50 year olds musicians hitting on her constantly.
Judging by the comments here it isn't just washed up, middle-aged dudes.
Yeah, poor girl also has people commenting on her looks on videos when she just wants to talk about amps.
To eliminate the redundancy, may as well shorten “washed out 40-50 year olds musicians” to “musicians”.
She really knows her work. Very cool.
this babe is a treasure
"You can tell it's a really simple circuit" uh mam..
also pretty sure I now have a girl crush lol
0:24 I love the way she says "qualified repair technician" 😇
I love her channel.
I really enjoyed this.
Amps were something that didn't appear for a long time in West Kerry.
Lol
I always want to see what is inside these things, what a pleasure to watch & hear, way too short!
This was too interesting for me to fall asleep over, but I will take it, thanks!
wow this is really nice
Love her t-shirt and she is absolutely beautiful.
I wish fixing my amp was this relaxing
This is my kind of stuff... I play guitar and love ASMR
guitar amp repair + ASMR my 2 personality traits converge!
Great Scott!
1.21 Gigawatts Marty!!
I had been watching her amp repair videos and thought it was very asmr like...and here I am. Now do Sylvia Massy, lol.
It's so relaxing!
This is awesome. ❤️
Being able to understand all this is some serious big brain action my god..
Colleen is a great teacher! Absolutely chock full of knowledge and tips, just like all my best teachers in life.
Like a young, brunette, drew berrymore. All I can think is this girl rocks. Super cool.

I checked this out for the ASMR but stayed for the amp tutorial.

Wow she’s so smart and knowledgeable and also a total badass! I’m in love with
Instant sub to her channel!
I love her, please give me a new life in LA
Do you take recommendations for unintentional ASMR videos.
I recommend taking a look at Kate Bush interviews, especially from her Tour of Life documentary.
I wonder how she got into this line of work. She obviously loves it.
If you check her channel, she has a video from a year or so back about how she got into it.
She's so freaking adorable!
I actually watch her real channel for amp repair tips

@6:27 "Some of you may be wondering why I'm leaving the cathode bypass caps in." I definitely wasn't, but I'll listen to the explanation.
No tingles but a great skill to have

Couldn't go to sleep. Was too busy learning how to fix an amp
When i saw the fluke i knew you can trust her.
I think I'm in love
Stop commenting on her looks. She's not an object to gawk at, she's a regular tech person. Leave women alone. Disgusting.
Here comes the moral superiority police!

The content is too interesting, and the interlocutor is too charming! 😤
She reminds me of a real life version of bill or teds daughter.
Do you have a website where I can look at your amp designs? Would love to see what you have to offer.
I've seen the thumbnail and watch it
Now I'm inlove with this woman i didn't even know
The dream girlfriend for guitar players.
Yes
Where are the finished first amps?
My cathodes are from the mid 70s. Must get them changed.
It’s always so attractive seeing a woman with some deep knowledge

Wish my amp tech looked like her…. Sorry Brian.
She never would've thought her video would end up as voice porn.
