hello GCSE MATHS TUTOR. i think i was not prepared and organised for paper 1. i think i got around 55/80. do you think if i do this paper and do topic questions that may come up on paper 2 & 3 and several practice papers, i can gain a lot of easy and other marks that i lost on paper 1? do you or anyone think it is possible to get a grade 9 even for paper 1, i got 7/8? (yes, i know i need to get like 75/80 for paper 2 and 3 then but i will do my best) i hope you or anyone can reply because i am overthinking and worried,,, idk what to do
Hi there, Absolutely, it's definitely possible to achieve a high grade if you set your mind to it! Scoring around 55/80 on Paper 1 is already a strong start, and with focused preparation for Papers 2 and 3, you can definitely make up for any lost marks. Start by identifying all the topics that didn't appear in Paper 1 (you can use our checklist to help) and ensure you understand them thoroughly. Then use our topic videos and practice papers/booklets to solidify your understanding and build confidence on those topics, along with any other revision materials provided by your teacher. Also, focus on the topics you are getting wrong in past papers and work on improving those areas. Consistent practice and addressing any mistakes you make will help you to improve. Remember, it's about making the most of the time you have left and giving it your all. You've got this, go for it, and aim for that grade 9! Best of luck, TGMT
paper 1 didn’t really go well for me, and I was aiming for a 9 but I think the highest I can get is an 8 😞 I’m definitely going to practice your papers and booklets !!
okay thank you! I worked it out and I think I’d need to score like 65 on both papers if I got like 50percent on paper one to get an 8, but I’m getting like 50s rn :)) But hopefully p2 and p3 goes okay haha
@@nghello333 Yh I’d honestly stay tuned for the GCSE maths tutors predicted papers they have been accurate so far so it will probs boost your chances of getting the grade you want!

do you think you could still get a nine if you got like a 6 on maths p1??
You can deffo get a solid 8 probs border line 9 but you would be expected to have to get 80/80 marks on other 2 papers.
