I love when a business literally DESERVES to go belly up. I've seen a few of them in my life. That being said, I remember when I was working at a Domino's Pizza in 2000-01, and when the head manager and one of the two assistants left, the surviving assistant eventually was bumped up to being store manager. She started acting like, not only she owned the store (she didn't), but didn't follow rules that has been previously established and no one ever said had changed, but when I followed those same rules, she got upset over it with me. This finally went as far as when one day we took an order from outside the delivery area, so I had the customer call the correct store and then cancelled it in our system. Well, on my day off she called me and left a message all pissed off at me. (The funny thing is, one of the things she kept doing was shaving hours off my schedule. Therefore, that morning I was at a 7-Eleven interviewing for a second job, so I had turned off my cell phone but forgot to turn it back on for quite a number of hours. That was when I discovered three messages; one from my mother, and two from the manager.) When I called to ask what it was NOW, she went off on me for not taking the delivery, and told me I was lucky she wasn't as lit up at that point as she was when she called. She had the nerve to go, "This is NOT (previous manager's name) corporate store, this is MY FRANCHISE store!" (Again, she didn't OWN said store, just ran it, like the previous manager did when it went from corporate to franchise.) I was just completely speechless...until I wasn't and I just went completely off on her and didn't shut up until I realized she had hung up on me. (You know, like the barrier holding back all I wanted to say finally just broke down under the weight.) Honestly it’s more common than you think. I’ve taken care of several people that unload all of their trauma on me after I ask the simple “how are you doing” question all the time. I’ve had people tell me their financial hardships, family issues, and deaths they’ve dealt with. Of course, most of the people I take care of are older, but still.
She looks like she knew who he was all the time... This is what happens when you run the same format of a show for a very long time! It starts to be faker and faker each time...
Yup the sob story bankrupt, car repossession, she knew who he was, most of the ones I see pop up on RUclips its very clear the person has realised it's some form of undercover boss
I just watched this episode. I teared up because she needed him and was in such a state of despair! Then he treated her like a daughter in trouble against a man. 😢
I had a boss once that wish wasn’t - I was an assistant manager and we were moving locations - she trained people and some of those people I recognized had some mental problems (a bit slower to learn but VERY capable of doing the job given a better training person) I recognize this because I am one of them. So she fired those people within three days - not even giving them a time to shine. She even did it to me - I am a merchandiser at heart and I know product placement. Ex. I put say a mug that had to deal with someone turning 50 along side some party items that we had (which also have some novelty gifts near it) I put it in a place as if I were shopping that I would find it. She yelled at me and said NO PUT IT IN THE TOP SHELF. (I am thinking to myself top shelf? That shelf is 7-8 feet high - who the hell shops up there?!) Normally that is where we store the over stock. She then took me to the office and said I can either transfer to another location or I would be fired. So I just left to go to the other location but left the company entirely 6 months later as I was tired of the abuse and the abuse not getting handled properly when I told the owner. I had other issue of physical abuse and verbal. I have tourettes as well and the other assistant manager kept telling me to stop my noises. Hell I would love to if I knew how. But anyways I am ranting.
I was in a similar situation to this lady. I was new to a part of the country and HAD to work since I was totally self-supporting. As for the abuse I suffered at the hands of managers, I could write a book but I doubt people would believe it.
This is the kind of boss that you need. I was lucky enough to have a few like him in the military. Unfortunately I also had a lot that were like the scumbag of the boss. Lying and blaming me for their mistakes. Starting Chinese Whispers and other rumours, always impossible to prove that they started them. Discriminating harassing and bullying, constant abuse. Then they object when you have a go at the system.
If this was me I would’ve been like “no no, don’t risk your job for me” but this lady didn’t she didn’t even hesitate to bring the manager out of his office, slightly makes me wonder if she knew who he possibly was, or maybe she just really wanted help
So here's what I just don't get. How is there ANYONE that has a new guy rock up for work with cameras and a crew not immediately know what is going on?
@Pamela Lansbury Riiight. And you think people would believe that? Like if they rocked up to your work, you'd believe that would you and wouldn't jump straight on your phone and start Googling?
@gcHK47 Oh, come on, man! You're at work, cameras rock up, and a new, older guy starts working with you. If you don't immediately google the companies board of directors, you're just being wilfully ignorant.

Undercover boss is a beautiful person. He really cares for his employees and hates abuse, I could tell from his reaction to hearing her story and the shouting.
When she said “you’re getting frustrated”. That’s when I knew this woman had no clue he was the ceo. She could literally read his energy but she thought it was cute / funny because she didn’t know he was an affiliate. If she knew she would’ve tried hiding it. The way she’s in the register staring straight ahead when talking to him and getting her job done. She has that look moms get when stuff had just gotta be done and no one else is going to do it so she will handle it. I’m glad this Happened for her
A lot of companies have no clue what is happening with their business's. Your first line of defence in a business is the most important if you don’t know what is happening you have no one to blame but the CEO and business owners when it fails.

My dad came by and asked the manager and explained that i was very sick. Then the ambulance came and was rushed to the ER. Nothing was done about it. I got fired for missing one mandatory meeting while most of other workers at the time, have missed more. I was forced to set up rat traps and carry 60lb bag over my head on top of unsafe ladder. I hurt my back and had to have surgery later on. None of it was in the job description.

It literally hurt my heart when she says I don't have a dad like you❤❤😭😭
This abuse is not an isolated incident. Many women have to put up with this to take care of their families 😢
N men.
I can tell u with 22 yrs of experience of working I would say that was light compared to what I've had done to me. I wouldn't even go as far as saying men cop it worse coz we are expected to "take it like a man". The amount of shit I seemy mates cop from pricks bosses is insane
Not around me did it ever happen.
It happens to us men too and we're expected to just take it.
How about "many people?" Jus' sayin'.
You trippin
All this is so natural. Not staged at all!
Love it!
Blows my mind how many people watch these thinking they're real. Like they're entertaining, but they're all staged. People have even said that owner's they would see on a daily basis would come in for the show and they were told to act like they didn't know the person and sometimes even do stuff to create drama.
Like for this one. Sure was convenient timing that he came back just in time to hear the manager yelling at the woman and the camera's mic was even able to pick it up so clearly.
That wig is awesome! The eyebrows look like what I do when I'm hungover.
The CEO is a great man. I'm happy for her.
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 The outcome was much needed. This was so inspiring to watch.
It good to know that someone truly cares about people.
She 100% knew who he was
She can sense the alpha in him
Right!
She manipulated that situation.
And if she wouldn't she would be in a worse situation than she is now
@@EternaLivesMatterokay, you would to when you are being abused at work
@@TexasGirl22
Last I checked the United States of America is a free country you are not enslaved to your employer you are willfully employed by your employer therefore you can leave at any time and find another place of employment she was not being abused so just stop
She used that situation in that moment for her benefit I cannot say that I blame her but she's not right
When the boss knows you’re dependent on them, they totally take advantage.
I watched the 2nd part. That is a great Boss 👍
Does me good to see there is people who still care.
I am always amazed by how well the cameraman blends and remains unnoticed.
“i don’t have a dad like you i don’t have anybody” BROKE my fucking heart. this mom deserves better 😭
Undercover Boss was only believable the first season. Anything after that had to be staged or the "surprise" had to be staged. NO WAY no one knew after the first season
They knew the very first episode of season 1. Cameras in the faces. Come on.
@@laurasmith8336 See, when NO one knew, u could pass off the story of a contest winner trying for a franchise. But once the show aired....NO WAY

My husband use to get abused so bad at his both previous jobs at one job i swear he was so depressed i almost lost him the mananger didnt care he caught covid and she didn’t believe him he quit on the spot his last job days before Christmas his old manager decided to cut his hours and we were so devastated because we have 2 kids in his mind he was like how am i gonna give my kids a christmas when im not gonna make a decent check it was horrible now hes working a better job with a wonderful manager honestly i feel like some people shouldn’t be managers u shouldnt treat people this way
Well said. Capitalism is killing us.
Everybody now knows about Under Cover Boss. This show has been running for years.
So how many people here have poured your heart out to the new guy at work like these people do every episode
Honestly it’s more common than you think. I’ve taken care of several people that unload all of their trauma on me after I ask the simple “how are you doing” question all the time. I’ve had people tell me their financial hardships, family issues, and deaths they’ve dealt with. Of course, most of the people I take care of are older, but still.
Thank you from all of us this has happened too!
Yeah, you get a new employee you have to train. But he comes with cameras following him around. Then he starts asking you about your life story😂
I love how this is real and genuine and not staged and manipulated and fake. I love it!
I just watched this episode. I teared up because she needed him and was in such a state of despair! Then he treated her like a daughter in trouble against a man. 😢
What episode was this? Season?
It's fake😂
You can sue for much of this in most countries.
Is there more of this story? I wanna know what happened afterwards.

@@cutterharris4977 I already found it before they added the link but thank you anyway.
Why it's a fake made up story anyway?
What season/ episode is this?
I believe that ALL of this is 100% real.
No one knows anything otherwise!
Fantastic!
Riveting American television!
Ending it here just passed me off enough I'll never look at another video on this channel

She knew he was the CEO the whole time. Hinting at things she needs lol
Glad she got hooked up tho
Tbh she played smart.
@@Mentelgen-1337 lol for real he got played haha and it dosent even say what the guy done, we just heard her screaming
Honestly I doubt it. The Indian owner did though, right off the bat.
lol
This is a heartwarming story, about a good man who did the right thing.
Oh! Holly Molly..! Please bring back that scene 🎬 to the end! I really! Really love undercover Boss to expose not so good people like him! Wow..!
I was in a similar situation to this lady. I was new to a part of the country and HAD to work since I was totally self-supporting. As for the abuse I suffered at the hands of managers, I could write a book but I doubt people would believe it.
I will write ✍🏻 the 2nd one it’s Horrible
I would believe U
“One person can’t eat 3 points of wings”

I know what I'm about son
This is the kind of boss that you need. I was lucky enough to have a few like him in the military. Unfortunately I also had a lot that were like the scumbag of the boss. Lying and blaming me for their mistakes. Starting Chinese Whispers and other rumours, always impossible to prove that they started them. Discriminating harassing and bullying, constant abuse. Then they object when you have a go at the system.
They need to do undercover boss at all jobs because yikes .....employers don't treat employees right at all 😢
If this was me I would’ve been like “no no, don’t risk your job for me” but this lady didn’t she didn’t even hesitate to bring the manager out of his office, slightly makes me wonder if she knew who he possibly was, or maybe she just really wanted help
This is so sweet I can’t. My dad doesn’t give me this kind of support lmao
@@shelbymitchell9024 ah it’s cool, thanks!
This is the most Canadian thing I've seen in awhile. Lol I love it. 😂
So here's what I just don't get. How is there ANYONE that has a new guy rock up for work with cameras and a crew not immediately know what is going on?
They do that’s why the sob story comes out
They tell them it’s a documentary about starting a new job.
@Pamela Lansbury Riiight. And you think people would believe that? Like if they rocked up to your work, you'd believe that would you and wouldn't jump straight on your phone and start Googling?
They often claim that it is promotional material for the company, or a different reality show.
@gcHK47 Oh, come on, man! You're at work, cameras rock up, and a new, older guy starts working with you. If you don't immediately google the companies board of directors, you're just being wilfully ignorant.
I would love to meet a woman like in this video you can tell that she has a good heart glad that boss walked in and kicked that dudes ass out she did not deserve how she was being treated
"One person can't eat two pounds of wings"
Uhhh...
Ma'am, I know several people that could, including myself. You don't know my love for wings.
Exactly!
Three pounds. She said three pounds but the truth that many people could eat that much still stands.
@Amy FU you know that's only like 18 wings right?
@@mikesixx7655 I don’t know what kind of chernobyl chicken you’re getting your wings from but where I come from chicken wings aren’t that big.
The point is most people would order them to share.
@@mikesixx7655 you did see that I said “many people COULD eat that much,” right?
all these CEOs and their camera men.. so good people😌😌
I haven't seen Undercover Boss in a long time, but I can assure you that the owner was released from his franchise business by Mr Rick.
Undercover boss is a beautiful person. He really cares for his employees and hates abuse, I could tell from his reaction to hearing her story and the shouting.
I actually don’t think she knew who he was she was wayyyy too casual around the CEO
“I don’t have a dad like you. I don’t have anybody” just broke my heart 🥺
Crap like this happens all the time to me, managers who think they are king or queen of the world.
I’m glad this Happened for her
That distinct Indian accent when he said "Mr Rick!"
This is the way a lot of ppl are being treated and its NOT ok!!
❤ I love the boss
A lot of companies have no clue what is happening with their business's. Your first line of defence in a business is the most important if you don’t know what is happening you have no one to blame but the CEO and business owners when it fails.
wow what genuine reactions from people with a camera in their face. True and real Im sure 🙄
I work in South Deerfield Massachusetts at the Yankee candle store it's definitely real. We were told they were hiring a man from overseas and the job was to help him get experience in the US workforce. He was portraying a "truck driver"who wanted a career change in this episode. Because people will watch everything, not hard to come up with an excuse as to why they're filming a reality show in your job in this episode
‘…it’s okay to share it as long as…….’
Yeah, nah, if I’m paying for food and I want to share it, I won’t be needing your kind permission, but thank you all the same.
One side a story is dangerous thing to go by
I hated working as a bartender at wild wing. My management sucked
I know the first wild wings I find I’m gonna definitely stop and eat at that place cause I appreciate this man’s loyalty to his employees
"I'm the CEO of a company and I went bankrupt and that's totally the same as doing it as a waitress."
Maybe it was before he started the company. The bankruptcy could have given him the impetus to start the company.

It’s great to see Jason Bateman in this role
Lmfao the moment she came out the kitchen ... she 100% knew she was on undercover boss 😂🤦
So the cameras and the camera man are invisible? Great technology!
I used to be on the production team for this show, and we usually tell people they are there for a training exercise
What was heartbreaking for me to see, is that this young lady had to go bankrupt and lose her car. My heart just dropped for her. It's terrible and can draw a tear to anybody's eye. You could see the pain in her face as she just tries to keep going on. Really felt this in my heart watching this.

So sweet. Especially the 2nd part.
Do any employees actually not realise this is undercover boss. There must be 1000 episodes of the show.
Please do undercover boss on pet supplies plus in Lincolnwood IL. Used to work for them and got mistreated unfairly and unlawfully fired, and was forced to work while having the flu and fever of 103.5 degrees. None of it was in the job description.
......hey new person I never met....I'm filing bankruptcy 😮 I'm going to lose my transportation 😂 sure okay☠️

i love that undercover boss. he stood up for that women as a father figure. that is genuine.
The boss treats her like that is because he knows he can push her around cus she not going nowhere.
Beautiful ending. What a lovely guy!!
2:50 how staged you want it? Yes
Wonderful People. My Man goes right to the ATM❤ Cool Vibes.❤❤❤God Bless
I’ve never actually watched the show 🥴 How do they explain the camera?
It’s set up like they’re filming A reality TV show featuring the restaurant.
Undercover boss, and candid camera crew. :) :) :)
Hmmmm... It felt very false and rigged as if she knew exactly who he was... Convenient.. he goes to one of his outlets where the manager does their own thing, he gets there and the person that is showing in the ropes is struggling financially and there's just been giving notice eviction I think, and surprise surprise the manager comes in and they have an argument. If this was all being filmed on secret cameras it would make more sense.
It just feels completely staged
Of course it is, all “reality”shows are scripted. They have time and budget restraints to crank out tv content. They’re not going to shoot endless film hoping maybe something will happen, these shows are written out.
Rather staged or not. Lesson here. Don't piss ppl off
Of course it's staged. It's "reality" TV.
@@siftknife761 but I love pissing people off. Takes no effort. 99% of folks are full of themselves, fragile egos
He kept it together longer than i would've
Why not show the entire show
I don't believe for one hot second he cares about the employees.
This show is so fake. There is no way to prove it's real with the camera guys walking around everywhere recording. Not to mention that people don't just tell strangers they just met they are bankrupt. She clearly knew she was on TV on "Not so Undercover Boss".
