I actually like the vacation gift in her case. Most other people just gave a cash bonus which is still huge and all, but free vacation and time off seems like something she desperately needed. You can tell she’s super stressed out all the time and giving her a moment to breathe would be better than the money in this case

That cause you to work so hard in the first place most people work to live at this point having a small vacation then going back to hell dose not help
I think one of the biggest problems in management, generally speaking, is lack of recognition of their employees. And I'm not talking about 'Attaboy' or 'Attagirl' recognition either -- rather, something more tangible. Good to see this manager recognized and rewarded by the boss.
@@blackandwhiteanimegirl1800 this is reality, whereas all that made-up gender nonsense is just fragile kids playing make believe and forcing others to recognize their mental illness. thats the difference 😁
I worked at hooters for a year in the kitchen was the best place to work everyone was friendly the girls were nice and all the managers were super respectful. wasn't at all like I assumed it was going to be. Learned great skills while I was there.
Totally, working at hooters is the best. My dream job is to become hooters manager so that I can help guide these young ladies through the difficult hardships that is ‘working for a living’. I also wouldn’t be surprised if some hooter girls are also making money on the side through NSFW things. For instance, I’ve heard that waitresses at Hooters will make like 50 plus dollars in tips on a nightly basis. What this is teaching them is that through hard work and dedication, they can achieve a financially stable life by dressing as a Hooters employee.
I hope moving forward they continue this for her not just a one time deal. I wish he could have done some sort of scholarship fund for the kids. Workers like her deserve more. Love how grateful she is.
I'm long since retired, but I wish I weren't so I could apply for a job working for such a great manager. Having worked for some outright a**holes I'm very happy to see that there are still good managers out there who weren't ruined by the business colleges and tricked into thinking that people were just "other assets" to be used, abused or discarded. I hope he can find the time to speak at a business school or two and set students on the right path, as the path many are walking is just ... wrong in every way. Thanks again for the uplifting video!
There's a Hooters in my area that I go to as a Regular. I'm seen as a Family Member to the Franchise Manager who is a guy and his Management style is just like this lady! He's a Divorced Father of Two Boys and all the Waitresses tell me how much they love him as a Manager when they hear his name. He always helps out in the kitchen, cleaning and serving. There once was a customer who wanted to randomly start a fight with me for no reason claiming I bumped into him. Which my Waitress came to my defense as a witness and informed her Manager that I did nothing wrong to that customer. Which he stepped up and ordered that guy to go back to his table. These are the kind of leaders Hooters Needs!
The vacation will do her great with the kids and the rest! I’m sure she will end up with bonuses now if the restaurant thrives and she keeps the good employees!! Congrats Marcy 💐💐🎉🎉😍😍

Having been a worker and a boss I know the value of appreciating the staff, The problem today is that all companies but the few are not bothered about their staff, they are only concerned about the bottom line and make as much profit as they can, so that they have a great life, I learned a long time ago, Happy staff = happy customers, happy customers= good business! however, miserable staff= less customers, No customers = NO business. How many CEO's will learn this lesson?
Give her a nice raise and adjust her schedule so she has a little more time with her family. I would not want to lose her. She is a dedicated employee.

@@sagarshetty1000 To me having the same gender makes it easier for the women to relate to their boss, certainly if the boss has had the same job they themselves are now doing, it is an added bonus.
