This boss has given this worker her miracle to be with her mom before she passed.What a blessing that was. There are still good people in this world who cares for others. I'm really touched by such benevolence.
I feel the same way. My company made it possible for me to be with my dad before he passed. I will never forget that, I really loved that dude. He was my best friend. Its good to know that there are wonderful people in our careers who help with such matters.
@@StephJVaughn that happened to me as well. They gave me 6 weeks with him fully paid I only had to work remotely for 2 hrs every week to do the international shipping paperwork. When he passed they gave me an additional week to be with my family. It was the best company I worked for

I think Under Boss is fantastic because they find out on the ground floor just who is worth their weight in gold and who desperately needs to find a new occupation. This boss has done something that money can't buy....She has gave her best employee the chance to be with her mum once last time, that is respect. People wonder why they don't get respect just at a click of a button, but it is a two way street and has to be earned and as such this lady boss has found a lot of respect for this employee that works so hard on her behalf, I hope that make it in time lass and get to see your mum before it's too late, to give her that one last hug, kiss and tell her how much you love her. My mom beat me till she kicked me out of the house at 16 so I guess this one hit me harder than most as I constantly looked for approval from her which I never received. I am so glad there are nice people in the world that appreciate hard work and loyalty

You so-called mother should be locked up in the nearest jail for child abuse! You should have told your school counselor about what your 'mother' did to you, so that the police could put your so-called mother in jail for the maximum sentence!

You can't help but love these heart felt moments. God bless her situation with her mom. But the boss's face showed not an ounce of emotion. Not saying she didn't sympathize, but the best shows are when the boss matches the tears of the employees.
My mom died on March of this year and my dad died on May of 2020. I miss them everyday

This made me cry,I lost my mom to cancer 2 years and 5 months ago and it's still hard I wish everyday that I could hear her voice or hug her again..I know one day I will I always think it would be nice if there was visitation hours in heaven I'd go every time

Here in England we are not big fans of this series. Our take on it is, CEO's should know how their company is run, how it treats its employees without going on the Undercover Boss programme. I watched two episodes recently where the branch manager spoke to his employees like they were dirt under his feet & another episode where an employee worked 40 hours overtime every week without getting paid for it!! If a CEO is a caring person then he/she should already be aware of issues such as these!

This is nice and it's great that it took the boss 12 years to go undercover to get to know 1 of her employees. Hopefully other employees received better compensation across the company as well. Corporations need to really do better by their employees! For years on top of years workers have not been getting paid enuff to survive off... so this is heartwarming to see the boss being impacted & invested in this employee!!
