More companies need to know that the upper management learns more from employees than employees learn from us,. Furthermore, as the owner I would always be there when a new employee starts, let them know I will never ask them to do something I haven't done myself, never hold them to a higher standard than my own, and that everyone lives their full potential and beyond when employees know they matter and know my most important job is to remove as many roadblocks to their success as possible.

I'm Dutch and when I hear stories like this about normal people being destroyed because they can't afford their medical expenses, I find it heartbreaking. The Dutch are known for complaining, sometimes justified and sometimes not. But the healthcare system in the Netherlands is much better organized than in America. Yes, there is a fairly expensive premium and you can take options for an excess of up to 885 euros, but beyond that you are insured for hospital costs and most medicines. You can also select additional insurance for physiotherapy and dentist, among other things. Still much better than how it is arranged in America (the country where dreams come true, but also nightmares). I hope things get better soon for many Americans. I greet you from the Netherlands. I hope my english was a bit correct.

Germany has a similar system: Wait times keep getting longer and most German doctors hate their job. It is imploding in slow motion. Income tax is now 45% and sales tax is 20% - on everything, meaning most of what you make goes to the government and there is no way out of it. On top of that, there are high fees for things (like "radio tax" that you have to pay every month, whether you have a radio or not) and there are new fees and taxes every year (e.g. green, sustainability, etc.). It's a shit show, but yet there are people like above who keep pushing the "more government is better" fantasy. It's a sick joke.
