I thought it was the opposite, skill could only get you so far when you’re surrounded by 7 enemies. I could run around with any weapon in TO and just kill enemies that are already in a disadvantageous fight and get good K/D but in a duel I can never get a good K/D against enemies that are objectively better than me.
@@fatwalrus9599 TOs and duels are different. But generally weapon matters in both teamfights and duels at same level. For TO ur not gonna do good with a rapier in a comp lobby where people knows what they are doing. While using a weapon like executioners axe, messer or good tea fighting weapons is important as these weapons work well in group fights. You are not going to pick mosquitos that flies off in a high skilled lobby comparing to pubs. Duels there are just objectively bad weapons though skill does matter more in duels. I can use let’s say the meta duel weapon heavy mace but I will still get my butt wanked by a player of tremendous skill wielding a knife.
I must confess I’ve never really used the highland sword much. It’s so damn large seems like each highland sword should come with a footman to help carry it around!🤣

@@Swagmar It most definitely is the best imo. it's counter window is crazy, the damage is disgusting, and it's unmatched in 1vX's. and there is absolutely nothing better than sending someone into the stratosphere with the sprint attack lmao
I want to learn to play with the Higlander, but my score with the Claymore is not very good. The sword has an extremely slow counterattack and it appears that anyone who wields this sword in battle is targeted by other players.
Key is taking a counter and running with it,grab a slash spam counter and drag it through 4-5 players and don't let up once you do. Overhead through enemy's stamina etc
Everyone hates archers but they have the lowest health and stamina out of every class and you have to actually aim not just swing randomly but yet somehow only no skill ppl play them 😂
Been trying to lvl up to get it, was ambushed man then went to the battle axe, now I want the Highlander. Was using glaive for control points and first death was 2 seconds left we were gonna win, I survived for 6min too 3, teammates were actually brain dead lol, yes we still lost

That sword is so confusing if you switch between first person and third person. The way you hold it on your screen changes depending on perspective, but doesn't change when people look at you.
I got a challenge for you. Throwing mallet melee only. No throws. You can pick up a shield though. Can you get a max streak? You wanna talk about satisfying, take out a maul user with a mallet overhead swing lmao
I can try to use the mallet for a video but throwing it might be difficult due to the controls for throwing but mallet would be fun ill try my best to get a godlike that be funny

I find 3rd person scummy, but it’s in the game so by all means use it. I just think it eliminates the need to have good situational awareness if you can see all around you like this.
Man coming to this game from “For Honour” is a bit of a curve. I’m used to playing “honorable “ matches and in this game such a thing doesn’t exist . It’s a lot of fun though.

Highland overhead can be acceled into the sound barrier by looking down and crouching at the same time,itll beat short weapons on occasion

@Swagmar don't throw it. Swinging only. It behaves pretty much exactly like the knife but I think cos it's blunt it's more effective against knights.
