I am finally back on Chivalry 2 but with the best weapon in my hands hopefully you all give it a try after you witness me commit team damage.

Side note: I've kept this to myself for a while but if you 360 when you use the war horn it seems to do significantly better. I get at least 250-350 points with the spin

yea the war horn affects in an area in front of it and you only need to be affected for a split second for the full heal so by spinning you’re healing everyone behind you as well
@@codysully4367 It actually does auto heal behind just not as far as in front so yeah still helps

When I first started playing this game I would main greatsword on vanguard but be absolute trash with it on knight, but then something in me clicked and now I only use it on knight. Maybe it was when I got the zweihander skin
I prefer it on Vanguard its all playstyle how you use it. knight and vanguard play different

Convinced me to revisit the greatsword with this one
Personally I think the messer is like a better version of the great sword, does more on the slash, with faster slashes, great sword is good for the lil boost of range but the swings are so slow in my opinion you need to be a master at dragging to play well with it.

Hey man, would you mind going into the difference in playstyle between the knight and the vanguard on greatsword? I am a greatsword knight main, but interested in playing more vanguard.

well great sword is great but any tips because its to loooooooong its really hard to play with team sometimes kill my own team
@@arronfernado7505 positioning bro learn to get a feel of the swords length also target switch. You see 2 targets coming at you keep your view on 1 then swing your sword at #2
I recommend doing lots of overheads if your teammates are in your way and stabs but mainly overheads throw a lot of light ones and make sure to move around your teammates and the enemy while throwing overheads you can keep spamming it mind u if they counter it and teammates are in your way follow up with a heavy stab or alt overhead or heavy overhead works 99% of the time but always try to get around the enemy an opening if teammates are present

For me all weapons are quit good balanced. Only I always die against The Execution Axe somehow but I’m not good to play with this one.

I don't think the great sword is broken. It's just really great at team obj and good at 1vX. The Messer is legit OP for 1v1's... so it is kinda broken. The length, speed, ability to drag, and swing manipulation are dumb af for messer. Executioner axe is best 1vX on defense for team O imo

Sorry but anyone who plays with that ridiculous anime highland swords/Greatswords lack any real skill. It gets so old when literally every other person is constantly using this obnoxious 12ft long 3ft wide final fantasy anime crap. Devs either need to get off thier ass and remove them completely or make it reasonably balanced the way everything else is. Because its ridiculous how unbalanced and spammed it is . The people who use that crap are the same people who would only noob tube on COD with the grenade launcher/RPG and then brag like they actually have skill
