The scoreboard is a bit broken, I actually died three times in this match instead of two. For those curious, two deaths happened at the very beginning before this video and my huge kill-streak starts. Only one of those deaths counted towards the scoreboard for some reason, it might be a bug with the flesh wound mechanic because I've had it happen in the past. This shouldn't be exploitable because flesh wound seems to happen fairly randomly. The only time I do see flesh wound occur more frequently is when you're in idle just walking around not inputting any attacks/blocks. The third death was shown on-screen at the end of the video because it was the most interesting and it also keeps tracks of all your kills/takedowns during that life at the bottom right for you. Hope that clears up any weirdness, and stay tuned there's more Chivalry 2 content in the pipeline.
From testing on bots, I think flesh wound occurs when a slashing attack hits you in the arm (hitbox is pretty spotty) and leaves you under 10 hp. I'm not sure if there's a % chance of it happening, but you can do it fairly consistently against bots with slashing attacks that do 60 to 65 damage.
@@precipitousnix6099 Interesting. I wonder if it has something to do with how much overflow damage there is too. Bots only have around 65hp so if your attack does exactly 65 or roundabouts then it may proc it. Compared to something like the war axe or executioner's axe where it can do well over that amount you could very easily avoid that threshold if it does exist. I'm curious if that extends to the downed state too but it's just hitting your opponent in the leg rather than arm. Looks like I'll have to do some experimentation myself to try and figure out if there is a consistent rule to these mechanics.
@Trix Bots have 70hp and count as Footmen for damage multipliers.
The exact damage value of the attack doesn't seem to matter for dismembering, as long as it puts you under that 10 hp threshold. I've done it using combinations of jab into strike (10-15 into 50-55) and similar.
Just wish I knew how to do that feint you do into over head. Is it possible on controller. I'm sure it's a lot of key strokes to make juggle the axe over your head then bam overhead

If you ever noticed, he's constantly checking his sides and angles. He's never locked in on the one guy, always be aware of your surroundings.
Stay with friendlies, but don’t count on them to watch your back. As soon as you get surrounded, it’s over.

The thing about Trix in Chivalry II is _how_ he doesn't die...the most common way I die is getting myself in a bad position and I specifically try to imitate Trix's sort of philosophy but it seems I never can...I always get left in a 1vX where I can only take down 1 or 2 with me tops

Force of habit from Chiv1 and Mordhau. I'm not sure, because I haven't tested, but attacks might land sooner if you crouch with them.
I'm new to this game, what does the number that sometimes appears next to his healthbar mean?
Every time i see a Chivalry 2 video and it says i got 100 kills and no deaths i always check TAB to see what the situation is and as always i'm never surprised to see it's a server with bots and the team your vs nobody is above rank 100, help nobody's even above 50 LOL, you should join a server where your versus people who actually play the game. Your score will look slightly different.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this would be harder today as people have gotten significantly better at the game.
Looked like a lot of people in the game didn't even know what they were doing lol. And I could've sworn I've seen bots in the game and there are too many players for practice mode. Practice usually have 5 players on each side with 15 being bots. Idk, it just might look weird to me since I've only started playing recently so there might've been changes that I'm not aware of

I am planning on doing some tutorials at some point for Chivalry 2 but right now there's a lot of issues with the combat systems that need to be fixed before it's worth my time. Right now there's a lot of redundant mechanics because of balance/design problems.
@@TrixMelee Ok. Me and about 5 friends just got it so its a bit difficult. We mainly play Free-For-All and been having fun with that. What makes a game a bit more fun is there is no stats on kill death ratio, kills per minute, etc.

Can you give me a timestamp so I know exactly which part you're talking about? I'd happily run through how I performed it then.
@@TrixMelee Thanks it is 4:15 and 4:36 for example you do a quick overhead fient after counter well you do that all the time
@@kukindik At 4:15 and 4:36 all I did was counter my opponent's horizontal attack and then inputted an overhead during the windup of my counter. This automatically feints my counter for me and continues the counter in the new attack. You can do the same thing with regular attacks too. I perform this input very early into windup but I could have waited a little bit later into windup, so that's why the animations are a bit quick.
Here's the exact inputs: I pressed my block button and then immediately performed a horizontal attack during the block to start the counter. Then as soon as the counter connected with my opponents attack I pressed my overhead button.

Yep. I've put Stab and Overhead on Mouse buttons 4 and 5 respectively. I've also swapped my feint and special attack buttons around, so feint is on Q and Special is on V.

what's your crouch key on is it just normal control I find that really awkward to hit
I know a lot of people prefer C for crouch for that exact reason, it's far less awkward. I'm fairly use to using Left Control for crouch, but it depends on the game. First person shooters I tend to use C.
This makes me see how bad my ping actually effects my game, play on about 200ms because the best connection is from South Africa to EUW haha

Old ass video but what your fov I swear I’m right next to a mf in first person and I still can’t reach them with long ass weapons. Maybe my internet just sucks that bad
I'm pretty sure I was running the max FoV here, somewhere around 110-120 horizontal. Movement is quite slippery in Mordhau and Chivalry 2, so a lot of weapons can feel shorter than they actually are because of how fast people are running around making it difficult to connect attacks. Latency is also a factor, the higher that is the later attacks will connect which makes them feel shorter.
And it was done in first person, hell yeah. Frick the 3rd person sweats.
As much as I enjoy first person I will admit I play a majority of my time in third. The advantage is just too huge to pass up.
