Dude what a beautiful collection, I’m not a Floyd guy or metal guitar , but I do appreciate the lines and the moderne look of it. Great videos I subscribed right way 👍🏻💯🔥

As a lifelong Lynch fanatic who's been playing since the age of eleven during the Tooth and Nail era this video is a real treat. I love both axes. I think the Arcane is a bit warmer than the Hunter/Exciter. I've owned a lot of super strats, but only one ESP, which was a Japan made Horizon in black that I got in 1987 for $600 with a case which was less than half of what a Jackson Soloist was going for at the time. I almost bought the Soloist with a trade in deal but opted for the Horizon.

I wanted one of those so bad in middle school when Lynch was on the cover of Guitar Player with the blue one.

That is a cool guitar, that single coil pickup ring really gives it an organic vintage vibe ❤

Thanks! Yea, seems that way on all the Lynch with a single in the neck. Thanks for your comment!

Kamikaze literally translates to 'Divine Wind' in Japanese. My family had an exchange student from Japan in the 80's, he translated everything for us!! I have a yellow and black Jackson Rising Sun, featured in my latest video - Selecting the Correct Floyd Rose Block. It says 'Jackson Guitar' in Japanese on mine. ruclips.net/video/Iq3RyUyfXC8/видео.html

Nice! After I watched this I realized that this came with an original Floyd. Look at the saddles….. I remember pulling it and it is MIG.

@@40gritguitars Lol I commented about the Hunter / Exciter pickups before you discussed them in the video?! Great minds...

I was just listening to Dokken 40 Grit. That’s an amazing guitar. Brings back a lot of memories. Great Video

I always looked at 'Walk Away' with a somewhat melancholy attitude. To me, that was the end of Dokken. George went on to Lynch Mob, Don put out Up From the Ashes solo and so on. Even though they would reform, it was never the same. It was just so fitting - Walk Away and that's what they all did. I always LOVED the Kamikaze IV as well. I remember seeing the Kamikaze I in GRPTM in July of 1986 and going "What is THAT?!!" I had also just purchased a Kramer Pacer, since my hero, George Lynch played Kramer... so that was when I learned he switched to ESP!! lol Keep up the great work!
The Hunter pickup is essentially a (slightly) underwound Distortion to GL's specs. Seymour Duncan doesn't make it anymore, so presumably George no longer gets any royalties. However, after ceasing production of the Hunter pickup, Duncan began making the Exciter pickup. Which is clearly a nod to Xciter, George's first band, and it is the same pickup. lol I just picked one up.

100%….. I feel the same. Great comment. Do you still have the Pacer?

@@40gritguitars Unfortunately my Pacer got stolen in the early 90's. Broke my heart. I saved up from my job at small grocery store, skipped lunches etc. and paid around $850 for it, with NO CASE!! lol It was a red Kramer Pacer American, with an unusual matching red headstock. HSS, non-recessed Floyd etc. My license # was engraved in the trem cavity. Let me know if you ever run across one!! lolol

Greatest headstock ever? Could be . . . Had this guitar and hated the high E string constantly rolling off the fretboard, placement of the volume/pick up selector knob, and devastating volume drop from humbucker to single coil. Looks great though. Perfect colors for that maple fretboard.

Sorry your experience was so crummy…. I understand the volume drop. It surely could be the best headstock. This vs the Kramer grail headstock would be a good dual.

Ltd is the cheaper version, esp are very expensive 3 ro five thousand dollars. Ltd max out around 1800$ but do i really think that the esp is two times better not really it's not double in price better but it's pretty good quality...
