Thank you for making this video! My hair started thinning around the age of 22 or 23 years old and I have yet to wear a pony tail or straighten my hair since and Honestly it sucks 😭 Most females in High school preferred my long hair, but My glory days are coming to an end. Hope this works out and Gets me a date or two. Again, Thanks! 👍
I’ve been rocking long hair for a long time. My hair began thinning to the point where you can see my scalp when it’s parted. I’m thinking about cutting it all off and trying out one of these styles, thanks for the vid!
I've been on a mostly plant based diet since 2014. I do eat fish but no meat or dairy. Since about 2016 I've been using Rogaine as I saw I was slightly receding on the peaks so I wanted to catch it early. Rogan definitely worked but it took a few months at least. I began to see small bits of whispy hair growing that eventually became proper thick hair. It also had the effect of making my beard grow and hair growing in some areas I didn't need/want it like my cheeks (which I get waxed or threaded). I used to get small hairs on my cheeks but this stopped as I got older, propably in line with the receding hair. So everything was going great for a few years but then something stopped, the cheek hair stopped and I was sure I felt it had begun to receded a little again. So I decided to look at what had changed in my life. What had changed was I had begun to drink beer a lot, my diet although still mostly plant based, now had a lot more greasy food like takeaways and junk food. So I decided to stop these things. I have not been eating that way for a while now and the hair is growing again! I don't want to stop hisng rogaine but I would be interested to know if my hair would grow without it. I know from research that hairloss is certainly linked to bad food in the same way heart disease is. If you eat rubbish that clogs up your body then blood can't get to the places it needs to get to and thus you lose hair or you have a stroke! One thing about rogaine which is very important and something I messed up with when I first started using it. You have to use it twice a day and 12 hours apart, that'd every day. You can't have breaks for days and stuff, most poeole are too lazy to do it but I ask you this, do you brush your teeth twice a day? You can't forget to do it early in the morning, decide to do it at midday and then do it before bed at 8pm, it just won't work. Anyway, I thought this night be able to help people by learning from my experiences
That is not how hairless works Rogaine works by causing vasodilation at the scalp level and encouraging blood flow to the follicles and also by inhibiting some scalp DHT which is a hormone. It’s all entirely genetic and nothing to do with food. Hence seeing lots of fat disgusting unhealthy slobs with incredibly dense and thick hair.
I’ve got thin hair and balding, I have tried absolutely everything and I got to say that dry shampoo is the best invention for thinning hair. I use Batiste (do not work or promote for them) and this has made my hair thicker fuller and not greasy at all.
Thanks for this. It is so hard to find products that work well on fine hair. I've gone through so many that either look terrible, greasy/crispy or work for 30 minutes before failing and letting my hair fall into its naturaly limp state. I've certainly never found a product that helps my hair stand up to a slight breeze, wind is the enemy! This is the first video I've seen where someone really has hair texture very close to mine (most I've seen have enviably thick hair that stands up by itself to start with), so I will be trying some of these products for sure.
My hair is pretty similar to yours, although mine is probably thicker and only thinning slighty at the front, i use got2b texture clay which is easy to apply, doesnt make it look glossy or nasty.
Great vid I’m amazed how much volume you can get out of your hair. My hair is a bit longer than yours but takes so long to dry with a hair dryer I can be there a good 5 minutes before mine is dry.
Thank you so much for this! I used your tips and tricks and finally happy with how I look again. Been in a huge battle with self confidence and my hair was a big thing, but I’ve gotten there with this video. Can’t thank you enough!!!!
Nice video, dude. I went from having long hair which was always in a ponytail, to short just over a year ago, and I've never had more bad hair days! Trying to find a style that suits, products that work etc. These are all good suggestions. Thanks 👍🏻
Thanks mate, I've been working on it a lot! In terms of my hair, I've found once it gets to a certain length if I go much longer, it just looks thinner and is harder to control. The convenience of short hair is unbeatable at times!

It took me till I was 50 years old before I noticed my hair starting to thin, I’m 58 now I can still stylet I have plenty hair in the front it’s just the crown is starting to bald. So no matter what age you are I totally get it I was blown away when I first seen the bald Spot, but after a while you learn life is more than hair and you truly don’t care as much
As a 38 year old with good hair for my age , I noticed thinning over 10 years ago but managed to stop it completely. 1) use Alpecin caffeine shampoo everyday 2) never use conditioner, I haven’t used it in 10+ years 3) I’ve only used hairspray , I don’t rub any wax , paste into my hair 4) occasionally I’ll rub Jamaican black castor oil into my hair and let to sit for 30 minutes and wash off 5) drink plenty of water No recession , thinning or grey hairs
Semi irrelevant as you probably wouldn’t of recessed regardless. Male pattern baldness is a genetic disorder. Someone who is destined to be bald can drink a ton of water, rub oils in their scalp, and refrain from using conditioner will still become bald in the same areas as without. It’s true that the lack of some of these techniques can speed up the balding process slightly, they most certainly will not prevent it ultimately whatsoever.
