Hey man! You have abs 2" pipe. You should be using abs glue(black color). Purple and clear is for pvc(white pipe). FYI
you are absolutely correct! I normally carry universal cement and I appreciate you pointing that out. I did a test gluing a few pieces of abs with the same glue I used in this video, the bond was surprisingly strong. I had to use a lot of force, it seemed like there still was a decent chemical bond 🤙🏽 Perhaps i’ll do a video to give others peace of mind if this happens to them!!
Im not plumber. Just been researching about schluster and curbless showers for the pass 4 month. Just did my shower a few days ago. Turn out good. Keep up

The video shows you placing glue on the inside of the male flange. That does not make any contact. Did you put cement on the OUTSIDE of the male flange, as that will make contact with the pipe in the floor (female)?
The schluter drains are actually female and slide on top of the 2” straight drain pipe. I find it easier to apply the glue inside the flange first rather than getting your brush dirty applying to the drain line coming out of the ground surrounded by dirt
