I personally always go for the pro max. I watch so much content it’s just a better experience. Haven’t had a “small” phone since the XR and that was my first iPhone to begin with
I decided to go with the 13 Pro Max, at first it felt HUGE coming from an IPhone X and it still does. Sometimes I miss a smaller and lighter phone. In 4 years when I upgrade I’ll most likely not get the bigger size again unless they make it lighter
Exactly. The 11 pro max with the rounded edges doesn’t make it too large, wide, or heavy. Now the 12 and 13 pro max models are just way too big. I mean, the 11 pro max was big enough and Apple made the 12 and 13 just too big and heavy. I love my 11 pro max for now and when I upgrade, I’ll get the regular pro size. Especially because I’ve gotten the mini 6 and I don’t really need the larger screen with using the mini as a daily,y user.
@@Tiffs-bookshelf Yup! I had the XS Max, so I went for the 13 Pro Max, thinking it wouldn't be that big of a difference but it WAS and I ended up returning it for the regular 13 Pro, and I couldn't be more satisfied. I do miss the big screen at times, but definitely not the weight.
I switched from 12 Pro Max to 13 Pro and I love the portability and the comfort it brings to my hands. All in all I love both variants it’s just that I am not big and I have small hands that my sweet spot are the 6.1 inch iPhones like the 11, 12, 12 Pro and 13 Pro.
iphohe 13 pro should have 6.4" display. I think 6.7" is little bigger as a smart phone display and 6.1" is just a little smaller. 6.3" or 6.4" inch is the sweetest size I think.
I have the 13 pro in sierra blue and love it so much more than when I had the iPhone 12 Pro Max the size is better and it’s more comfortable to hold in my hands and also I didn’t need a bigger display because I own an iPad Air for that
With my heavy use a day I could bring the 13 Pro Max from 100 to about 35 in a day with nearly 10 to 11 hours screen on time. And I’m very much comfortable with this size. Weight felt a issue for a week later my hands became stronger to hold 13 Pro Max during calls. I can put this on stand and just watch the content in big wide screen all day with so ease
Honestly, the 13 Pro Max feels like a regular sized phone to me. If apple made a 7.2” iPhone, I’d definitely get it (not that that’s happening). The phone could be larger, honestly. And I wouldn’t complain.
I use both an S21 Ultra and a 13 Pro, and I can definitely say that I prefer the smaller form factor of the 13 Pro. The Ultra sticks an inch out of my pocket and is generally much more unwieldy to use as, say, a camera. That said, when it comes time to watch content, if I can't use my iPad or computer, it's the Ultra I reach for.
Im glad that your iPhone is your Main phone & you can enjoy Samsung too. Best of both worlds. Definition of a Very healthy Samsung user. I know I love Samsung as well but that never means I would put my Main SIM card in anything other than my iPhone ❤
I have the 13 pro. I have pretty large hands, take in account that i am 6’5 and still the iphone 13 pro max feels uncomfortable in comparison with the 13 pro.
I’m upgrading from an 8plus. I got the 13 pro because at 6.1” the screen is still bigger and the phone will fit better in my hands as it’s slightly smaller. Feels like a win win
I came from the 11 to the 13 Pro and it’s honestly a fantastic phone. I have big hands but the 13 Pro Max is just massive and heavy, and I’m so happy with the battery life and display on my 13 Pro anyway. Plus, the 13 Pro is essentially the same general size as my 11 so it was easy to get used to. Great video Nick, keep it up!
same! came from 11 to 13 pro and I felt the difference esp in the display! super worth it ngl. but in terms of battery life, didn’t notice significant difference

I switched to iPhone for the first time last week. My previous phone was the Galaxy S20+. I planned to get the 13 Pro Max but I decided at the last second to get the 13 Pro instead. The 13 Pro Max was a hair wider than the S20+ and i saw the weight for both iPhones were more than the S20+, but even heavier for the Pro Max. I like that the Pro has all the same features or I would have gone with the Pro Max. Plus I saved $100 vs the Pro Max.
I have the 13 Pro, and I LOVE it. And I love that you get everything the Pro Max has, just in the 6.1” size. I’m not a fan of the 6.7”, so I’m glad that I don’t have to sacrifice any features just to get the smaller version.
@@BC08 yeah but you can always charge your phone. the pro max only has an hour or 2 more. If you need the pro max's battery, you probably use your phone too much anyway
I purchased the 13 Pro for myself, upgrading from an iPhone 8. By far the best phone I’ve ever had, it’s great in every way. That was until my girlfriend’s Pro Max came in the mail! Now everyday I see how much larger the Pro Max is, I regret not paying the extra $100+ for the Pro Max. The size difference is massive and very noticeable when they are side by side.
Coming from an iPhone 7 plus, I'll take any of these lol. But I have ended up ordering the 13 pro. I have bigger hands than many but I still like the 13 pro because of the portability. A big plus is the specs are the EXACT SAME besides screen size and battery. So if you watch a lot of shows on your iPhone, then I guess the pro max is worth. As for me, I want a device I can comfortably use with one hand so ima stick with the 13 pro.

I got the 11 Pro Max 6,5” that’s the max size for me. I don’t want the feel of a brick in my pocket. 6,5” does tend to produce that feel when I use shorts in the summer. I’ll pick 13 Pro over the 13 Pro Max
I’m on the 13 pro max and the battery life is just impressive. My daily on time is about 7-8 hours and I’m still left with 25-30 % left at the end of the day.
This was useful. Thinking of moving from the 11 Pro Max to the regular 13 Pro. Cameras are the big feature for me… same on both the Pro and Pro Max - but I think I’d appreciate the better portability.
I went with a Pro over a Max - despite me having a Max prior, as they benchmarks for the standard Pro are higher than the Max - interesting, I know, but for some odd reason, the standard Pro is slightly better optimized than the Max - maybe something to do with more processing power being used for that larger display? Not sure - but happy I made the switch.
You missed a major key point: The SOUND. This is by and far the most comparable thing on the Pro vs the Max model. The sound on the speakers is at least 3-5 BD louder and fuller in general. It is crazy!
I got my 13 pro two days ago and i love it! i came from an 11 pro max and i don't miss the size at all! the 6.1 inch display is amazing seems to be a sweet spot for me with size, I had considered the pro max but since there's next to no difference besides battery and size i didn't see the point. The only thing i dislike is the camera switching issue they're having right now wich makes taking macro shots annoying at times but hopefully that will be fixed soon. The downgrade in size for me is fantastic i don't watch movies or much videos on my phone i sometimes look on social media, listen to music and reply to messages so i'm loving having a phone in my pocket and not a tablet! at the end of the day if you don't consume a lot of videos on your phone there's no point in getting the pro max unless you simply just want to be able to say you have the biggest iphone.
I think it’s way more portable for the regular pros but you miss out on the screen to body ratio but the portability and price is what got me with the 13 pro
I just switched to the 13 pro from the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the biggest reason was they finally offered the same cameras as the Pro Max in a smaller phone. I was getting tired of these huge phones. So far the battery life and camera have made it easy to live with some of the things I miss about Android.
@@AA-xh3yi I like it well enough. Only real differences I notice over my 12 Pro MAX, is print is easier to read, a little more crisp. And obviously the battery life. Oh, and the speakers are better. Cameras also.
Selled my 13 pro max after a week, way to bulky and uncormfortable for me and switched to the 13 pro and its just perfect. So comfortable for a daily use.
I picked up the iphone 13 pro the other day and prefer it over the 13 pro max cause of weight which the weight of the 13 pro max is too heavy for my liking
Thanks for this update Nick I’m definitely going with the Pro. I think android phones are more manageable in the phablet category because of it being more narrow and what gets me is that the Max has all this space on the screen yet there’s no split screen multitasking. Yes that’s great for media but c’mon a screen that big and it can’t do something that simple?
What you said is true as to why it’s more manageable. Narrow phones. But I hate narrow phones. Don’t like that most phones went down that road. I miss wide screens like the iPhone 7 and 8 plus. So the iPhone 12 and 13 pro max phones are for me. I like more on my screen, left to right. Don’t like tall narrow phones.
@@mckenny5505 Women seem to prefer the larger phones, which, in a way, is ironic. You would think that men, with larger hands (for the most part) would prefer the max, but we have to carry them in our pockets, so there's that. As for the phone in general? I'm not diggin' the iPhone experience at all (13 pro max) and am returning to my Samsung Ultra. It also has great cameras, and very respectable battery life (charges much faster too), but alas, in the phone wars, we have the new S22s dropping Feb 8th. I think we'll see some nice upgrades/updates. I guess I'm just a dyed-in-the wool Android guy - and i really sincerely tried to fall in love with my 13 pro max.

For me it was between a 13 pro with 256 and a 13 max with 128 for the same price, coming from a 7 plus. I went with the pro due to having more storage and slightly lower cost. Also it feel familiar to the 7 plus. If apple had multi-tasking capabilities I probably would have gone with the max. I still wonder if I should of got the max, especially as a power user of Samsung Notes when on the android side. I do miss 3D Touch as well as Touch ID, if rumors for the 14 come true about an always on display and maybe usb-C, I might upgrade.
I have the 12 Pro and upgrading to the 13 Pro Max. Never owned a Max iPhone before but since the pandemic my phone usage has gone up a lot (gaming) so i think the I’ll benefit from the larger battery and display.
You still liking the max size or did you prefer the regular? I’m thinking about making the switch myself but not sure. Had large android phones before but never the max iPhone. It’s the weight more than the size that puts me off slightly.
@@b11480 I just returned the 13 Pro Max for the 13 Pro. The weight and size was really uncomfortable. Loving every bit of the 13 Pro. And btw, I’m someone coming from an S21 Ultra but still the Max was too much. Apple just can’t make easy to hold and use large phones imo. Samsung does that way better due to narrower designs.
I have 13 pro came from 12 pro max and I love it I got it in gold looks so nice!!! I have the 256GB version to get the pro raw and the camera features!!! I’m not really missing on features on the 13 pro max version. Definitely my bill is way cheaper than 12 pro max lol
I hope apple would release a 6.3 inch phone next year with smaller bezels. It would really be a best fit for small hands who wants bigger screen like me. Coz the 6.7 inch makes my hands feel so awkward.
The 13 pro to me is like a complete phone which suits my hand shape and size. The 13 Pro Max is just huge and a bit bulky to carry and frankly when I looked at it i was a bit no that excited

I originally got the 13 Pro but exchanged it for the 13 Pro Max. It only took a day for me to get used to the size, and I never looked back. I’m mostly blown away by the battery. The big screen works for me because I like watching videos, and never really use iPads. Also I can still manage using it one-handed, though not in every situation 😆

My favorite phone was the iPhone 8 plus. Every since then I've stuck with iPhone Max's and then made the switch to Android a week ago and hate it so I ordered the 13 pro. I was thinking about the 13 pro max but I didn't like how heavy the 12 pro max was and the iPhone 8 plus had a small screen so I decided I could get used to the size of the 13 pro
I definitely prefer the 13/13 Pro,I never even considered getting a max since they first came out,it's way too big overall especially the weight and width.
I think since you are paying for a more premium phone I think it should be 6.1 for the regular iPhone, 6.4 for the pro and 6.7 for the max. A .3 difference for every phone.
I had the iphone 12 pro max the only thing i didn't like about it was the weight, I'm looking into getting the 13 pro here in the next month or so for the smaller form factor since it'll be lighter than the 12 pro max i had

Been using the 13 pro since launch day. No regrets! Got the regular size because i usually watch videos and stuff on my iPad pro when I'm home. 13 pro max is just too uncomfortable for daily use too.
I preordered the 128GB 13 Pro in sierra blue because I really don't like large phones. I have been happy with battery life and the screen with promotion has been very smooth. I'm not a heavy video watcher on my iphone as I have an iPad air that serves me well for content consumption.
Went from the XS Max to the 13 Pro Max & the difference is INSANE. I love the battery on this new iPhone & definitely the cameras too they just look amazing. The notch looks smaller & it feels faster too. It’s only been a month for me & I’m just so happy with this new device.

I got the iPhone 13 pro max in white 128gb and did an unboxing video on my channel! Absolutely love this phone. I also did a Spigen clear glitter case unboxing and try on, this is a great case if anyone is wanting a clear but slimming case for the 13 pro max. Love this phone!!!!!
i agree, i sold my XS MAX ( i broke the screen twice kept slipping out of my hand,) so i bought the regular 13 and i love the size, magsafe , U1 chip , which is very underrated and hardly ever brought up in youtube reviewers when comparing the iphone 11 ( no magsafe) for instance ,,to the 13

So I'm the opposite I traded in my 11 Pro for the 13 Pro and I definitely enjoyed the new phone the better screen and cameras but I use my phone quite a lot for work and my content watching. I ended up going back to Apple and getting the 13 Pro Max and I don't regret my decision. It's a bigger screen, way better battery life and louder speakers. For me as a power user the Max is the way to go. This is my first "Max" Phone and I don't feel like its too uncomfortable carrying around all day but some people are different and their use cases are also different.
It is all preference. This phone is just too heavy with a case and screen protector for me. The weight is more of a factor, then the size. Thee 13 pro is over 200!grams. The max is 240 with a case, screen protector close to 300.
The only reason I upgraded to iPhone 13 pro is the 120hz display. That’s the only thing I needed from iPhone. I’ll keep my iPhone for a few years now until USB C comes to iPhone.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro and honestly I’m loving it! My average battery life is a day and a half which is very impressive. Very much worth the money, in my opinion.
I have 11 Pro Max and for my next phone, I’ll go for something like the standard 13 Pro or one of the smaller Galaxy S22 models. I’m a bit tired of 11 Pro Max’s weight and it not fitting into shorts or some trousers. I don’t think the time of Flip/Fold is there yet and prefer classic construction.
The thing that gets me about the Pro Max is the aspect ratio of the whole phone. I'm an Android user myself and am currently on a Pixel 6 Pro, the screen is perfect and the width is just about right for it to be held comfortably even with a case on. I considered a 13 Pro Max (not really loyal to one OS or the other, just that Apple products were out of budget until recently) and the width is what killed it for me and forced me to look at the much smaller standard Pro (and from there I realized I liked the Pixel more). The symmetrical bezels look great but they make it incredibly unwieldy to hold, especially with the square sides and the weight. My Pixel has much smaller side bezels than it does top and bottom bezels, so even though the screen is the same size and aspect ratio (6.7 inches, 19.5:1) the phone itself is narrower. It's a shame that if I ever go iOS I'll likely have to downsize by a substantial amount, I watch a lot of content on my phone and 6.7 inches feels right to me on Android but with how Apple builds their phones it's just too big.
I've had many max phones but I recently got the iPhone 13 Pro as the max was too big for my hands, typing and generally holding the phone was uncomfortable, Happy with my decision.

Came from note 10 plus and got used to size because it was thin. Get the pro with 256gb storage instead of pro max 128gb . Pro is a thick phone and then with the bigger length I feel it’s just too much. I’ll take the thickness of pro just for battery life alone though
I’m using 12 mini , coz all phones on market today growing larger and larger, and only downside as u guess is battery life, but mini 12 or 13 is right phone in wrong time 🤔
Hey Nick! I’m coming from iPhone XR. I own now 13 Pro regular one! I can only speak for my self but when comes to the weight yes it’s noticeable 13 pro is a heavy phone! But personally I will stick to 13pro v 13pro Max coz the weight difference. Ohh and on top of that I have small hands 🙌
Actually he's pretty spot on with the battery life of the iPhone 13 pro, i personally have the 13 pro and the battery is at 93% after 48 hours with light to medium use which on my android phone that would be absolutely impossible to do
This was the year NOT to buy the Max. Apple finally made a portable flagship Pro model that gives up nothing but weight and bulk to the Max size phones. This was a long time coming for people on the go that their phone doesnt always have to be a compromise in comfort and wardrobe accommodation. Now that the battery life is also larger and more than enough for a full day of intensive use on the smaller Pro model, it’s really a no brainer. The Iphone Max is still way too small for a work devise as most of us do our work on an iPad Pro or Mac. This leaves the Iphone Max in a no win situation for many of us tech owners. Portability has actually got to be portable in our devise and a work devise has actually got to be big enough to do intensive work on with a large screen.
4:50 dude literally recharged the Device and only had lik 1:30h battery used after charging it and claiming 3:30h adding the 2h from before charging lol

Having just got thru using an 11 pro max I decided to get a iPhone 13 pro this week and since it's the only one my carrier had in stock I ordered it! Personally I love big phones but decided to give the smaller form factor of this year's pro a try! Your video totally took away my doubts about using a smaller phone! After having the 13 Pro for over a year: next time in September I’ll get the Max for sure. The battery life is (for a heavy user) absolutely bad 😢

They should have kept the 5.8, 6.1 is pushing it for most people anything larger and most people might as well deal with the Pro Max which is too big

I’m upgrading from an 8plus. I got the 13 pro because at 6.1” the screen is still bigger and the phone will fit better in my hands as it’s slightly smaller. Feels like a win win
I came from the 11 to the 13 Pro and it’s honestly a fantastic phone. I have big hands but the 13 Pro Max is just massive and heavy, and I’m so happy with the battery life and display on my 13 Pro anyway. Plus, the 13 Pro is essentially the same general size as my 11 so it was easy to get used to. Great video Nick, keep it up!

I switched to iPhone for the first time last week. My previous phone was the Galaxy S20+. I planned to get the 13 Pro Max but I decided at the last second to get the 13 Pro instead. The 13 Pro Max was a hair wider than the S20+ and i saw the weight for both iPhones were more than the S20+, but even heavier for the Pro Max. I like that the Pro has all the same features or I would have gone with the Pro Max. Plus I saved $100 vs the Pro Max.
I have the 13 Pro, and I LOVE it. And I love that you get everything the Pro Max has, just in the 6.1” size. I’m not a fan of the 6.7”, so I’m glad that I don’t have to sacrifice any features just to get the smaller version.

I purchased the 13 Pro for myself, upgrading from an iPhone 8. By far the best phone I’ve ever had, it’s great in every way. That was until my girlfriend’s Pro Max came in the mail! Now everyday I see how much larger the Pro Max is, I regret not paying the extra $100+ for the Pro Max. The size difference is massive and very noticeable when they are side by side.
Coming from an iPhone 7 plus, I'll take any of these lol. But I have ended up ordering the 13 pro. I have bigger hands than many but I still like the 13 pro because of the portability. A big plus is the specs are the EXACT SAME besides screen size and battery. So if you watch a lot of shows on your iPhone, then I guess the pro max is worth. As for me, I want a device I can comfortably use with one hand so ima stick with the 13 pro.
How are you enjoying the 13 pro? Was it odd coming from the 7 plus? The 13 pro seemed a little narrower so I was wondering if missed having more screen real estate.
One thing about Nick is, he’s not going to try to push “Bigger is better” I have the 12 pro max, and I do want the 13 pro max, but the 13 pro is looking a lot more promising.

I got the 11 Pro Max 6,5” that’s the max size for me. I don’t want the feel of a brick in my pocket. 6,5” does tend to produce that feel when I use shorts in the summer.

I’m on the 13 pro max and the battery life is just impressive. My daily on time is about 7-8 hours and I’m still left with 25-30 % left at the end of the day.

This was useful. Thinking of moving from the 11 Pro Max to the regular 13 Pro. Cameras are the big feature for me… same on both the Pro and Pro Max - but I think I’d appreciate the better portability.
I went with a Pro over a Max - despite me having a Max prior, as they benchmarks for the standard Pro are higher than the Max - interesting, I know, but for some odd reason, the standard Pro is slightly better optimized than the Max - maybe something to do with more processing power being used for that larger display? Not sure - but happy I made the switch.

You missed a major key point: The SOUND. This is by and far the most comparable thing on the Pro vs the Max model. The sound on the speakers is at least 3-5 BD louder and fuller in general. It is crazy!
I got my 13 pro two days ago and i love it! i came from an 11 pro max and i don't miss the size at all! the 6.1 inch display is amazing seems to be a sweet spot for me with size, I had considered the pro max but since there's next to no difference besides battery and size i didn't see the point. The only thing i dislike is the camera switching issue they're having right now wich makes taking macro shots annoying at times but hopefully that will be fixed soon. The downgrade in size for me is fantastic i don't watch movies or much videos on my phone i sometimes look on social media, listen to music and reply to messages so i'm loving having a phone in my pocket and not a tablet! at the end of the day if you don't consume a lot of videos on your phone there's no point in getting the pro max unless you simply just want to be able to say you have the biggest iphone.
I think it’s way more portable for the regular pros but you miss out on the screen to body ratio but the portability and price is what got me with the 13 pro
I just switched to the 13 pro from the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the biggest reason was they finally offered the same cameras as the Pro Max in a smaller phone. I was getting tired of these huge phones. So far the battery life and camera have made it easy to live with some of the things I miss about Android.

Just got the 13 Pro MAX. After using the 12 Pro MAX. Really wish Apple had an inbetween size like Samsung does with the S series. Maybe a 6.5 Pro.

@@AA-xh3yi I like it well enough. Only real differences I notice over my 12 Pro MAX, is print is easier to read, a little more crisp. And obviously the battery life. Oh, and the speakers are better. Cameras also.
Selled my 13 pro max after a week, way to bulky and uncormfortable for me and switched to the 13 pro and its just perfect. So comfortable for a daily use.

Thanks for this update Nick I’m definitely going with the Pro. I think android phones are more manageable in the phablet category because of it being more narrow and what gets me is that the Max has all this space on the screen yet there’s no split screen multitasking. Yes that’s great for media but c’mon a screen that big and it can’t do something that simple?
What you said is true as to why it’s more manageable. Narrow phones. But I hate narrow phones. Don’t like that most phones went down that road. I miss wide screens like the iPhone 7 and 8 plus. So the iPhone 12 and 13 pro max phones are for me. I like more on my screen, left to right. Don’t like tall narrow phones.
@@mckenny5505 Women seem to prefer the larger phones, which, in a way, is ironic. You would think that men, with larger hands (for the most part) would prefer the max, but we have to carry them in our pockets, so there's that.
As for the phone in general? I'm not diggin' the iPhone experience at all (13 pro max) and am returning to my Samsung Ultra. It also has great cameras, and very respectable battery life (charges much faster too), but alas, in the phone wars, we have the new S22s dropping Feb 8th. I think we'll see some nice upgrades/updates.
I guess I'm just a dyed-in-the wool Android guy - and i really sincerely tried to fall in love with my 13 pro max.

I upgraded from a 7 plus to a 13 pro and have been happy so far. It definitely feels smaller in the hand but the screen is still larger.
For me it was between a 13 pro with 256 and a 13 max with 128 for the same price, coming from a 7 plus.
I went with the pro due to having more storage and slightly lower cost. Also it feel familiar to the 7 plus. If apple had multi-tasking capabilities I probably would have gone with the max. I still wonder if I should of got the max, especially as a power user of Samsung Notes when on the android side.
I do miss 3D Touch as well as Touch ID, if rumors for the 14 come true about an always on display and maybe usb-C, I might upgrade.
The 13 pro feels like a 13 mini to me in my opinion. I have no regrets getting the 13 pro max, but I respect those who prefer smaller phones.

And btw, I’m someone coming from an S21 Ultra but still the Max was too much. Apple just can’t make easy to hold and use large phones imo. Samsung does that way better due to narrower designs.

I originally got the 13 Pro but exchanged it for the 13 Pro Max. It only took a day for me to get used to the size, and I never looked back. I’m mostly blown away by the battery. The big screen works for me because I like watching videos, and never really use iPads. Also I can still manage using it one-handed, though not in every situation 😆

My favorite phone was the iPhone 8 plus. Every since then I've stuck with iPhone Max's and then made the switch to Android a week ago and hate it so I ordered the 13 pro. I was thinking about the 13 pro max but I didn't like how heavy the 12 pro max was and the iPhone 8 plus had a small screen so I decided I could get used to the size of the 13 pro

I think since you are paying for a more premium phone I think it should be 6.1 for the regular iPhone, 6.4 for the pro and 6.7 for the max. A .3 difference for every phone.

I preordered the 128GB 13 Pro in sierra blue because I really don't like large phones. I have been happy with battery life and the screen with promotion has been very smooth. I'm not a heavy video watcher on my iphone as I have an iPad air that serves me well for content consumption.
Went from the XS Max to the 13 Pro Max & the difference is INSANE. I love the battery on this new iPhone & definitely the cameras too they just look amazing. The notch looks smaller & it feels faster too. It’s only been a month for me & I’m just so happy with this new device.

So I'm the opposite I traded in my 11 Pro for the 13 Pro and I definitely enjoyed the new phone the better screen and cameras but I use my phone quite a lot for work and my content watching. I ended up going back to Apple and getting the 13 Pro Max and I don't regret my decision. It's a bigger screen, way better battery life and louder speakers. For me as a power user the Max is the way to go. This is my first "Max" Phone and I don't feel like its too uncomfortable carrying around all day but some people are different and their use cases are also different.
It is all preference. This phone is just too heavy with a case and screen protector for me. The weight is more of a factor, then the size. Thee 13 pro is over 200!grams. The max is 240 with a case, screen protector close to 300.
ive been using max versions since max came for very first time. I decided to try iphone 13 mini. I AM SO SICK OF BIG PHONES.
The only reason I upgraded to iPhone 13 pro is the 120hz display. That’s the only thing I needed from iPhone. I’ll keep my iPhone for a few years now until USB C comes to iPhone.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro and honestly I’m loving it! My average battery life is a day and a half which is very impressive. Very much worth the money, in my opinion.

I have 11 Pro Max and for my next phone, I’ll go for something like the standard 13 Pro or one of the smaller Galaxy S22 models. I’m a bit tired of 11 Pro Max’s weight and it not fitting into shorts or some trousers. I don’t think the time of Flip/Fold is there yet and prefer classic construction.

i just got a GOLD 1TB Pro MAX. IT DOPE!
The thing that gets me about the Pro Max is the aspect ratio of the whole phone. I'm an Android user myself and am currently on a Pixel 6 Pro, the screen is perfect and the width is just about right for it to be held comfortably even with a case on. I considered a 13 Pro Max (not really loyal to one OS or the other, just that Apple products were out of budget until recently) and the width is what killed it for me and forced me to look at the much smaller standard Pro (and from there I realized I liked the Pixel more). The symmetrical bezels look great but they make it incredibly unwieldy to hold, especially with the square sides and the weight. My Pixel has much smaller side bezels than it does top and bottom bezels, so even though the screen is the same size and aspect ratio (6.7 inches, 19.5:1) the phone itself is narrower. It's a shame that if I ever go iOS I'll likely have to downsize by a substantial amount, I watch a lot of content on my phone and 6.7 inches feels right to me on Android but with how Apple builds their phones it's just too big.
I've had many max phones but I recently got the iPhone 13 Pro as the max was too big for my hands, typing and generally holding the phone was uncomfortable, Happy with my decision.

Came from note 10 plus and got used to size because it was thin. Get the pro with 256gb storage instead of pro max 128gb . Pro is a thick phone and then with the bigger length I feel it’s just too much. I’ll take the thickness of pro just for battery life alone though

Actually he's pretty spot on with the battery life of the iPhone 13 pro, i personally have the 13 pro and the battery is at 93% after 48 hours with light to medium use which on my android phone that would be absolutely impossible to do

This was the year NOT to buy the Max. Apple finally made a portable flagship Pro model that gives up nothing but weight and bulk to the Max size phones. This was a long time coming for people on the go that their phone doesnt always have to be a compromise in comfort and wardrobe accommodation. Now that the battery life is also larger and more than enough for a full day of intensive use on the smaller Pro model, it’s really a no brainer. The Iphone Max is still way too small for a work devise as most of us do our work on an iPad Pro or Mac. This leaves the Iphone Max in a no win situation for many of us tech owners. Portability has actually got to be portable in our devise and a work devise has actually got to be big enough to do intensive work on with a large screen.
