    If you notice, the beginning cadence is used throughout the OOOWayOOO song (get on ur feet). I should also note that the cadence feels very EMC-esque

    it used to be that the drum lines in drum corps were in front of the corps. when did they make the change to the middle of the pack?

      Dan Currier Easier to keep time, easier to hear battery.

      Drumlines and Lowbrass is more in the background. When the drumline is playing, it's like a wall rolling down the street. It's better for the music if the drumline is not in front of the corps so highbrass plays the melody and the drumline and lowbrass just fits into it

      I'm the opposite. The Drum Corps that I have been in has always had us drummers in the back and never up front. Same with marching band.
