I keep coming back to this video because I love it so much. Also when they put their horns down I get chills because of how perfectly in sync they are.
It's a far cry from Real's running real drumlines played many rudiments all of Standards plus Swiss rudiments, the so-called replies play Rim shots most of the routine, always rolls, tapping this sticks together bobbing their heads. It's a far cry from real drumming.
I wish the guards would do some kind of work rather than just walking down street waving their hands. It seems that almost all of the guards just walk and wave.
Ahhh! The 'good old days' when corps would actually spend some time in Florida and not just schedule a single show at the Citrus Hole which btw gets rained out 98% of the time! WAKE UP DCI! There are many covered venues available during the TROPICAL RAIN season in Florida.
OK, it is great hearing the horn playing recognizable music and patriotic at that. Just saying, it's too bad the color guard isn't contributing to the patriotic music. Also, the drum parts are so overwritten they are extremely distracting. That being said, I loved the Cadets from 1980 to 2017ish, hmm, , the Hopkins years.
A REAL DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS THE DRUM LINE IS IN THE FRONT OF THE BUGLE SECTION. BRASS BAND'S DRUM LINE IN BACK OF THE BAND. SO SO SAD. FORMER MEMBER OF THE LONG ISLAND SUNRISES DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS.
@@genorobledo6417 then according to you the NFL should start wearing leotards and doing pirouettes, I'm sure that fanbase will drop just like Drum Corps fans have dropped out of the activity or together. You obviously have no real drum and bugle Corps background, you are just exposed to marching bands that's all you know, I'm not knocking marching bands oh, but you have no idea what a real drum and bugle Corps is.
@@carsonstephens2508 it's not week you should just purchase the two volumes of the history of drum and bugle Corps and you might learn something, then you can speak with authority. Until then keep marching with your band I hope you enjoy it as many people do but not for me. Don't take offense these are my opinions.

Omg everyone on right foot and end on right foot lordddd
Why can't the color guard at least bring some flags?
Would probably "violate" some Disney rule ! 🙄
@@laverdadesmejor You can have flags, Crown used them in 2017 as well as '13 for the christmas show

Very smooth camera work with panning and above-the-crowd perspective. Did you use any type of stabilizer?

American Spirit drums should never go in front of brass. They can soak up sound and overall make the brass sound “weak”
Its a brass band DCI killed Drum Corps
Not everything has to stay tradition. It’s the new generation of students. Everything must adapt to what’s to come
