- The big move! Our adventure begins as we move out of our retail store in downtown Seattle, our parents home that they lived in for 40 years and our home and consolidated in all into our new homestead and farm in Idaho. This is chapter one of our homesteading journey.

Hey guys congrats on your move to ID. Our family has a similar situation when and if we move there. We are trying to decide. 0:03 We are a family of 4 living in Colorado with a couple of parents that likely would go with us. I will be visiting Idaho a couple times this year once for a Veterinary conference in September in Cour D Alene and another time this summer just to see the area.
We enjoy the content you are doing and got a great laugh at finding the crop on the Turkey after brining it… as we process 200 chickens yearly this has happened a few times to us haha anyway best wishes from the Hanson Family and your Fans in Colorado

I am trying to escape the state of NY... I have been lookng to homestead and like idaho, since the values seem to align with mine. where are popular areas that isn't dessert?
Awesome! We read the other day that Idaho is the second fastest growing state in the country (Florida being first). Idaho is beautiful. You should look around the Coeur D’Alene area, which is North Idaho, or if you want it a little warmer, south around Boise.
@@homesteadfashioned thanks. I am not from the city, but on long island near the Hamptons... From what I see it similar but nicer there with mountains and people...
