Idaho Homestead Barndominium Renovations. Building and Designing Our New Farmhouse Kitchen and More!

We're back for Season 2 of Homestead Fashioned! We have learned a ton, accomplished a ton and made some mistakes. In this episode we catch up to spring by showing all of the projects we got done indoors during the cold winter months of North Idaho. The whole family pitches in to redo the stairs, build in a pantry, add an upstairs bathroom, bedrooms and a third story guest loft. The biggest game changer of all was building the farmhouse kitchen of our dreams and open up the west facing side of the barndominium with windows to brighten things up and showcase our amazing view of the valley.

The upstairs bathroom turned out really nice. The tub is big enough to put the girls in for their baths. Justin, I like the cattle panel installiation in the loft railing system. It is so nice to see the girls involved in sanding and painting the cabinet doors. It gives them some 'ownership' in the various projects. "Valuing each other" is so precious and valuable.
