  • With our well finished we could finally start our remodel projects. First on the list was putting in a washer and a dryer and a hot water heater. For the first month we had to take 5 minute showers out in our camper, so finally having a working bathroom would be a game changer for us. But, we didn't just want any old bathroom, we wanted it to feel like we stepped into a spa. Follow along as we build and design an awesome bathroom without breaking the bank! So simple and stylish anyone could DIY it themselves!
Since we are at the tail end of summer the other project high on the to-do list was replacing the rusted out Woodstove. We knew nothing about woodstoves but follow along with us as we make a place to heat our home through the cold Idaho winters.
Be sure to give this us a follow for new videos and updates from our Idaho homestead. From bardominium renovations, DIY How To's and hacks to design ideas and recipes.

When thinking about what kind of partner in life I wanted (back in my youth), I knew I wanted someone with the drive and some know how to make our dreams come true. There has been never a dull moment and so much gratitude in a handcrafted life.

Double wall pipe may last longer, but you lose most of the radiant heat available until you need to use insulated (or double-wall) to exit the home safely. With a season under your belts, were you able to keep the home warm enough, especially with the extreme cold this past few weeks?

Hey! Yes the double wall has been great, and the wood stove has been our main source of heat. During those negative temp days we had to really stay on top of the wood, but still stayed in the mid to upper 60’s in the house. Once we finish insulating the ceilings, that will be the biggest game changer with warmth.

I enjoy your videos. The background music while you are talking is too loud. Maybe skip the music while you are talking.
