    Springform Pan Here!: amzn.to/2GuvjNv
It's not everyday I eat breakfast (I know - I'm terrible, Muriel...), but when I do, I prefer to (sometimes) go all out.
I'm talking eggs, potatoes, meat, veggies and cheese. I mean there's so much going on, that you have ALL food groups covered (the big glass of OJ covers that).
And so, I've decided to take breakfast to the next level and make the most intense (but easy) BREAKFAST CASSEROLE ever! Seriously, this thing isn't fooling around. It's tough to classify but think of it as basically one fat frittata, a stuffed, pan-baked omelette or, my favorite, a breakfast CAKE!
Praise your Instant Pot, because you've just made breakfast everyone's favorite meal!

I bought a instant pot and my first meal was your pot roast. Awesome!!! Delicious 😋 the whole family loved it. I’ve watched over 100 instant pot videos/recipes (Boring) your videos are amusing, easy to understand and each one has been a incredibly delicious meal. Keep up the fantastic work and know you’re greatly appreciated. Definitely one stop shop 👍

The whole Instant Pot phenomena reminds me of that children's story Stone Soup. People think its the stone that is making the meal but it is actually all the stuff you put into it. People think that an Instant Pot is the magic stone. Most Instant Pot channels are not very good cooks. Especially those cooking Pinto beans on high pressure w/o pre-soaking. Acck, morons! This recipe is not too bad. I do something similar in an iron pan, only I make my own hash brown crust by shredding fresh potato fine add dehydrated onion and salt and stuffing that on the bottom and up the sides of a oiled well-warmed iron pan on the heat, then stick it in the oven, as I prep the other ingredients and I use more chopped up vegetables and only say just the prosciutto. Steam is what an Instant Pot does well. Cooking meat off the bone. Starch like potatoes, rice and no stir polenta.

Looks scrumptious! I bet if you deglaze that pan with a little white wine or water (not much) to release that beautiful fond into the meat before removing it from the pan- it would add even more flavor :) (you would cook the liquid off before removing the meat..) "Never waste a good fond" is my motto and that one was gorgeous :) (at 2:55...)

I made this a few days ago for breakfast for dinner and it was eggcelent. I used peppers instead of mushrooms, since one of the people I was cooking for disliked mushrooms and I made 2. One in the same springform used in the video, and the other a regular small pan I had for my camp oven (2 springform would not fit on top of each other). I also added to the top extra egg whites I had leftover from some creme brulees I had made a few days earlier. The pan came out looking like a scramble, but the springform looked like a cake with the egg whites looking a little like a fondant. Both were delicious, but the springform was very hard to clean. We also made some banana bacon pancakes to go with it, I'm not sure if I've had a more decadent breakfast for dinner before lol.

Amazon was out of stock of the 6x3, so being hopelessly optimistic I ordered the 8x3 since I have an 8 quart hoping it would fit... it doesn’t. But it IS a really quality pan and I am keeping it since I make cheesecake all the time. The 6x3 is back in stock and on its way! Can’t wait to try this recipe.

Onions, thin sliced potatoes, julienned green (red and/or yellow) peppers, diced bacon or ham sautéed and then poached briefly in milk. ½ dozen beaten eggs. Temper the eggs with some of the hot milk and stir into the veggies. add shredded cheddar cheese and stir in. Usually baked in a cast iron skillet at 350° F x 30 minutes or until knife blade tests clean.

Good morning Jeffrey. I recently obtained two air fryers. I own the Instant Vortex plus and the Instant Omni plus. So far I've made wings, cornish hen, fries, and muffins. Last night I air fried some Jerk chicken legs. My son ate them all; I didn't get one bite. I thought of you as I made some backup wings. Jeffrey where is your air fryer? You can capitalize off of both worlds. We need some of your delicious recipes in the air fry world as well. Think about it. I'm heading upstairs to attempt this dish for breakfast right now. Thanks for another fabulous recipe. Great Video.

I copied your recipe exactly, only difference is the pyrex bowl (which added 15 minutes to the cook time vs. your 30) and I cooked up fresh sausage chopped it up before putting in the instant pot. The real pleasure was the next day, when I made breakfast burritos with the leftovers!

Just wondering. I made this recipe and after it cooked for 30 minutes the eggs were not done. I put it back in for 15 more minutes and the eggs wear ok. But when I went to cut it, it was very watery in the bottom. I covered my casserole dish foil as you said. Can you maybe tell me why I would have liquid in the bottom. Not sure what I did wrong. Thank you

I thought it wouldnt cook and,you get the burn notice when you dont deglaze? I have got burn notice for less then the bottom of your pot.
But casserole sounds good, I dont get how potatoes cooked. Have to try it. Yumm

Now, since I'm usually cooking for one, does this do well as a re-heated leftover? Reheat in the Instant Pot? If so, steam or pressure? for how long?
    Looks Yummy.

This looks amazing! Could I make this in my 3 Quart Mini Duo? Would I just halve the ingredients? Thanks for the recipe! Great tutorial!

Breakfast is the least important meal of the day. If I do it, it's a late brunch on the weekend after a long walk.

I just tried this without the insert but did the rest of the recipe just like you suggested and I keep getting “food burn” message if I try to pressure cook so I’m trying to use the sauté option. Anyone else tried this before? Or any suggestions?

why do you have to use an extra bowl? cant you just cook it in the pot that it comes with?
