Mandy, I wanted to share this with you and Steven; when my 17 year old grandson was 5 years old he was bitten by a rattlesnake, on the top of his foot, two times. He and his parents were at a hot tub at a condo in Arizona. The snake was laying on the warm concrete and because it was dark he didn’t see it laying there. When he passed by where it was, it bit him. They rushed him to the hospital and they treated him with 18 vials of anti venom which were the size of spray paint cans! Thankful he was healed and is doing great now. He has no problem talking about it now because he knows who healed him. I love your channel and have saved many of your recipes. ❤
I love how your husband is all in! My late husband was like that too. It's great to see two people sharing their meal together AND you shared the recipe with us out here. Great channel.

Sorry, I'm late to the party, but here goes. If you have stuffing mix, you're gonna have the GREATEST fried chicken ever! Take your stuffing mix & put it in a FREEZER zip lock bag. 👩🏻💻FINALLY☺a egg breakfast dish I would eat. I am not into breakfast casseroles, either the eggs are not cooked or they all taste the same. I really do love Stove Top Stuffing, plus one of your commentors using it for a fried chicken coating, that's perfect for me. With this breakfast/dinner casserole I see some promise and I will try it with really mild sausage. Awesome and thanks so much.
Oh my goodness, I love "boxed" stuffing! So glad you shared all these recipes! Going to try them all!! Really enjoy your videos, and the stories you share. :)
I absolutely LOVED listening to Stephen tell the story of his grandma and how animated he was and listening to you two talk about the past. For me, this was the MOST enjoyable part of the video. I would LOVE to hear more stories about your all’s grandmas and papaws. God loves you all. Jesus loves you all and died for you all. God bless you all always.
Omg! I just listened to Stephen’s story about leaving the snake in his pocket for his grandma to find. The second he said “I sent him home sqaul-in” the tears just started running down my face. I’m a southern lady born and raised but marriage and life has me about 45 miles south of Cleveland Ohio. That word “squal-in”….I haven’t heard that word for years. It was something my daddy & both of my mamaw’s always said. Hearing his story reminded me of them & it made my heart so happy. Thank you for sharing!
Made the heavenly casserole recipe tonight. It was delicious and easy! Thank you, always enjoy your videos and getting new recipes, especially since I’ve kind of been in a dinner slump lately. I make dinner every night and sometimes it’s so hard to come up with something new.
Hi Mandy. Great recipes! I’ve never seen stuffing used in a breakfast casserole! Who knew?😂 I LOVED Steven’s story about the snake and the note he wrote to his grandmother.🥰 I pull the stems off my spinach too.😁 Thanks for sharing my friend.🤗💕
You guys are very cute. I love the interaction between you two! I also love that your husband loves to chat and tell stories. It’s very entertaining and so sweet to see. Lots of love from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We just celebrated 37 years and it’s true. Laughing together is so important in a marriage! And, believe me, we laugh plenty in ours because my husband is hilarious! 😍 And, I love it!
Just made this tonight after watching you last night. I live in California - don’t know if that matters - but could not find broccoli cheddar soup so I used a half a can of cheddar soup and a half a can of cream of broccoli. I too added about a half a cup of sour cream, because I used more chicken I also held back about a half a cup or more of the stuffing mix to put on top and then the cheese to give it a crusty, crunchy top. It was delicious. Family loves it. 👍🏼👍🏼 We will make it again. Great motorhome meal also.
Love story time with Steven. 🤷♀️ I had no idea snakes like blackberries either. His note to his grandmother was so sweet, he was a little prankster. 🤣 I really like stuffing mix so these recipes sound delish❣
I have been watching your show since it started and i would not miss one if i can help it.your recipes are great and i use them all the time. I am a 75year old woman and my husband and i act like you and Steven. I think that is what has kept ourmarriage alive and happy so long. Oh my!! 🤤 I have to try ALL of these! Mandy, thank you for using pantry staples in your videos! I cannot wait to try these! I love how you don't have these seriously overwhelming recipes on your channel! Plus, We get to see Gracie Lou 😊💖 You and Steven are my absolute favorites to watch. You mesh so well together and your personalities are just fluid. Thank you for sharing your stories, your lives and your recipes with us! I'm making that Swiss chicken today! 🤤😁💖
Thanks Mrs. Mandy for all the great recipes. They all look delicious. I loved it when Steven said, it was so bad i had to get rid of it. We used to say, you'll eat anything if your hungry enough.
Love watching you two! Mandy, you are so sweet and hubby is adorable! He really loves your cooking, and we can see you too are very much in love with each other! Thanks for sharing your recipes and stories with us all!🥰👍👍👍
I grew up in Joplin MO, so I can relate to a lot of the Southern discussions. When Steven was talking about his granny and the rubber snake in his pocket and writing the apology note that hung on the frig forever, it made me break down and cry. Mandy, your recipes have kept me sane since my job permanently moved home since the pandemic, and I cook MUCH more than before. Thank you!
All of the recipes sound so scrumptious! I will definitely be making the breakfast one for sure. I wished that I had one of those 'instant pots', because the recipe used sounded so tasty, and so quick to make. Wonder how one could make it without an instant pot...
I wonder if sautéed apples would go in that breakfast casserole. My traditional holiday stuffing is sausage apples onions celery eggs stale cinnamon raisin bread cubes and spices. It reminds me a bit of that. My family looooves it. You two are wonderful
I bet stale raisin cinnamon bread or bagels would be good, just toast them up a tiny bit them barely beat them up or as I do, put them in a baggie and hand them to my kid and she does 'the Hulk' and smashes them and still leaves chunks but not too big, and I toast some sunflower seeds sometimes and throws them in there too. I've even tried chopped and toasted pecans (Steven that is PEE--CONS) My husband always made fun of the way I pronounce my words with me being half Scottish and Half Irish and one day I caught him by surprise when I took an empty pill bottle and threw it at him and it bounced off his head and across the room and I said, "Well I guess its true about what they say about how things that are hollow that they do cause things to gain distance like that bottle just did?" LOL
Hello Mandy. The 1st one I am making is the Straight Out of Heaven Casserole for Dinner. Your husband said, "It's my favorite." Also, it pretty. Today is my birthday 10.21.2023. My husband made me breakfast in the morning and then cook Dinner. Delicious meals. He knows how to cook and so do I. We have been married for 25th Years we celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary on 12.21.2022. Soon Our 26th on 12.21.2023. We went to Disney World during Christmas time with our daughter. I love Stuffing and these recipes are great. I gave it a like and also put it on my Pinterest. I love your cooking videos. Also, the story about your husband family touches my heart. Thank you for sharing it. 🥰
Tonight for supper I am gonna make use of what I have and use leftovers to fandangle our own version of your first recipe. I will let ya know how it goes. Update. Used up leftover pork tenderloin shredded on the bottom. A can each of cheddar cheese soup and cream of mushroom and roasted garlic soup. A box of cornbread stove top. Ours is $3.49 😭 but is was delicious and worth every penny!
@@MandyintheMaking I've been with my Hubby 17yrs. Married 12 in July 2023. When our 15th rolls around we r going to DISNEY. Cause Hubby Proposed there and we Honeymooned there so it just feels Natural
Love the breakfast casserole. I'm not much of a boxed stuffing kind of person, I like cornbread dressing from scratch & rice dressing is my all time favorite. The (Trinity) is onions, bell peppers & celery & we cajuns put them in just about everything. Love watching & listening to you & Steven ya'll are so cute together. Happy Valentine's Day! 💕😇
Love Stuffing recipes! Thank you so much for these, Mandy. The comfort these recipes bring will be something. Always at family gatherings, I will give up potatoes or rice if stuffing is on the menu. It is one of my favourite things. I am looking forward to trying all of these! Steven, I am definitely not a snake fan, but the way you share stories, I had it all pictured! Hoping I sleep tonight! Lol!Have a wonderful week! 😊💕
I love y'all! I love your videos, your conversations, your laughter and your crock pot recipes! ♡♡ Love from Texas☆☆ I've been dealing with neurological pain in my extremities for a long time and needing easy to fix meals. These really are a great help to me. I feel useful again being able to make a lovely & tasty meal. Thank you, sweet girl!
Perfect timing! I am bringing a breakfast casserole to my ladies Bible study in the morning and I have a box of corn bread dressing left from Thanksgiving I can use. I can’t wait to try it. Love your channel and the pieces of your life you share with us.
I made the Breakfast Stuffing Casserole and I wasn’t paying much attention and added a bag of cornbread stuffing mix which was 12 oz of stuffing mix instead of the 6 oz in the recipe. I added some water, I added 11 eggs total and it was phenomenal! We have tons of eggs our chickens are laying maniacs so keep these eggs recipes coming 😂 I have one grandson who does not like eggs but man did he gobble this up! Not eggy. My daughter suggested we serve it with maple syrup, one of the best breakfast dishes I have made in so long. My husband said it reminded him of cornmeal mash his dad used to make and and it reminded me of the McGriddles. Highly recommend this! Thanks for a great recipe!!!
For a quick throw together ST meal, I use a 9x13 dish and preheat the oven to 375. I spray the dish, then I add 2 boxes of Chicken ST. I also add a bag of pre cooked chicken (like John Soules or whatever you prefer) and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, enough chicken broth to make up the water content on the boxes. Take a can of drain green peas (or another veggie) and add it to the dish. Mix everything together then add a few pats of butter on top and bake for 20-30 mins until the ST has absorbed and it's done.
I have a wonderful recipe that uses stuffing mix! Acorn squash, ground sausage, onion, apple, and stuffing mix! Could be done as squash boats and look really pretty, or could just be a casserole 💓 my husband who is not a big cooked veggie eater loves it 🥰 Wonderful Fall flavors 🤤
My mom is 85 and I am trying to cook her something she will eat. I tried the first recipe on this video. She really liked it. She has written down the recipe and wants to add celery and carrots which is just stuff that she really likes. I like your videos and want to thank you for the inspiration. I am 61 and not a cook. So this was big for me. Thanks again.
Had the breakfast casserole last night. We loved it. SO easy. The stuffing is a nice change from hash browns in it. I used cornbread stuffing cause that's what I had!
That footage was from 3-4 years ago, and sweet subscribers like you let me know that same tip! I don't lock it anymore. :) Thanks for looking out for me though!
I just “ tried “ one of the stove top recipes on the box and I think it was very good ! I’ll be doing this again !! Used canned chicken but had some ground up veggies ( peppers, onions, zucchini, carrots) and it is good. Thank you !! Never would’ve thief it if it weren’t for your channel !
I love that you all have so much fun with your food. My grandmother was giving me a lecture on snakes so we were in the garden one day and a blue racer took after her, took her by surprise and she took of running and so did the snake. It was so funny, she had an apron she always wore fanning it and headed to the house and yelling whowhowhowho!!
I am 73 and just heard of Turks and Cacos last year when my friends son and girlfriend went for his birthday! I was too timid to ask questions when I learned this I felt like your husband where the ---- is Turks and Cacos? Love you guys and miss your son. Your recipes are always a winner! Hugs from Nashville Tennessee.
I know you said Cole loves meatloaf. My friend's mom uses a box of stove top stuffing (breaks it up a bit more) in her meatloaf for seasoning. It's always been a favorite of mine
Yes, my grandmother did the same thing, delicious. Also, she used stuffing mix in addition to cornbread and any other leftover bread when making her dressing for the holidays, that made it better... my grandma is no longer with us now, I miss her.
@Barefoot Kid59 my grandma put chopped onion and apples in it, no sausage though, so good. I've had version like yours that's delicious as well. I love this video, simple, delicious, affordable recipes. I'm going to try at least 2 of these very soon, I already have the ingredients!
@@lauraclark92 oh my god, try it one time with the sausage and the apples. Its so delicious! Thats how my dad made his stuffing. When me and my siblings got older we would beg him to bring for thanksgiving dinner.
I know I'm late for this stuffing mix party, but I've just recently learned how good ground chicken is! And now what I do is to fry up the chicken with some added butter (since the chicken is so lean), add garlic powder and other spices that compliment chicken, and then make chicken stuffing and put it all together. If I have celery, I'll also add sautéed celery to the mix. So good! Thank you for your helpful and delightful videos! You and your husband are such a wonderful couple full of love and fun and joy! God bless your family always!
Mandy, I really like how you take simple (available) ingredients and turn them into flavorful meals that are easy to prepare. You have a really cute husband and your kitty is adorable. I love the little stories you tell along the way and you are not afraid to leave in the little kitchen mishaps that happen along the way. Your videos give me inspiration and really came in handy during the pandemic. Joyce from Florida saying Thank You to Mandy in South Carolina. Keep up the good work.
During the holidays Aldi had boxed brioche stuffing mix! The garlic and rosemary was amazing! I wish they carried it all year long. I’ll definitely be stocking up on it when it gets back in stock! ❤
I am so glad to hear this. I wondered about ham. We are not big sausage eaters here so I will try the ham and sauté it with the peppers and onions. Thank you for sharing this.
Just discovered your channel. The video inspired me to create something. I browned ground beef diced an onion and a pepper, as well as a small zucchini ,fresh from my garden and recently harvested garlic. Sauteed the vegetables in bacon grease, Added a can of whole kernel corn, drained. Place everything in a large mixing bowl. Added the moistend stuffing, cheese abd rwo eggs. Mixed it all together. Place it into a bacon greased loaf pan baked it at 350 for thirty minutes. Came out wonderfully delicious.Although I do think I should have let it set for several minutes to firm up more into a loaf. Family had seconds and even thirds. Only seasoning used was salt and pepper in the hamburger and the vegetables.
This video was perfectly timed! I needed a breakfast idea and you came through with the Breakfast Stuffing Casserole. Thank you Mandy & Steven! My family thanks you too!
Wow! Glad I found this channel! I love the recipes. I love the conversation while you're cooking and between you and your husband. I love cats. Especially a cat who appreciates a bit of cheese! A winner all the way around!

I remember going to pick blackberries with my paw paw along the railroad tracks in southern Louisiana. Maw maw put them in the sink with water so the worms/bugs would float to the top. Then she would make the best blackberry cobbler there ever was.
I am super excited to try every single one of these but I'm really excited for the instant pot recipe I absolutely love my instant pot my husband however does not like spinach so I'm going to have to come up with a substitute maybe asparagus.
There's a great recipe for crab cakes on the back of the stove top cornbread stuffing box! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
I eat stuffing all the time as a side dish all year around. It is one of my favorites.
Who knew?😂
I LOVED Steven’s story about the snake and the note he wrote to his grandmother.🥰 I pull the stems off my spinach too.😁
Thanks for sharing my friend.🤗💕
I also pull the stems off.
I scissor cut the spinach stems to small pieces & throw them back in the dish- no waste!
CONGRATULATIONS on your 37th yr Anniversary!
@@terrynasso5142 thank you!
I look forward to seeing more good food from you and Steven.i think you two are very funny and it lightens my day to watch you and him interact.keep up the good work. 25:37
Thank you Mandy and Stephen for sharing these recipes, ya'll are such a joy to watch and great recipes too!
I thought I was the only one who de-stemmed my spinach. Now I feel validated! These recipes look amazing and I can’t wait to try them. Thanks Mandy.
O man! I LOVE the Grandma stories! My grandma was so precious to me and I just love hearing stories like that! Thanks for sharing Steven!❤
Thank you!
Don't we all!!!
Oh I'm so glad it worked out!
“Fandangle” I love it!!!
@@MandyintheMaking I've been with my Hubby 17yrs. Married 12 in July 2023. When our 15th rolls around we r going to DISNEY. Cause Hubby Proposed there and we Honeymooned there so it just feels Natural
I left out the spinach because I had everything else on hand and omg it was so easy and delicious 😊 Thank you for all of your videos!
I love watching young couples who actually get along good. O'Callaghan that heart to heart. Even if you do disagree you will always be heart to heart❤
Happy Valentine’s Day Mandy & Steven also love your stuffing recipes and outstanding video.
I have always added sausage onion & celery in my box stuffing. I love breakfast for dinner. Love Coles thumb approval, and rating system.
Happy Valentine's Day. Awesome video. I love stuffing. I'm definitely going to be trying these. You guys always make me laugh and smile ❤️🥰
Tried the broccoli chicken casserole and we loved it! The leftovers heat up very well also. My kitten Pepper sends his best to Gracie!
Sounds yummy!!!
I was washing dishes and trying to hear you two talking about old times and grandmother. I can so relate! I also enjoyed your recipes. I ❤ you 2!!!
Sounds great!
I would love to have your recipe.
I remember this recipe from years ago. May memory's go with it. We stuffed the acorn squash and baked them. Beautiful.
What great timing Mandy, I was food cupboard cleaning and have several packages of stuffing mix. Now I know what to do besides thanksgiving stuff
Had the breakfast casserole last night. We loved it. SO easy. The stuffing is a nice change from hash browns in it. I used cornbread stuffing cause that's what I had!
I love stuffing! It's so great to use in recipes. I had not thought of using it for my breakfast casserole. I will definitely try it 🙂
I can’t wait to try the breakfast recipe…it looks amazing! 🌺 Jen
Hi Roby 😇🥰
Mandy,
Thanks for the stuffing recipes. in Winter, each of these recipes is so comforting and home-y. The recipes are quick, easy, and delicious.
Yay! I love recipes using stuffing!! Thank you for these recipes!!
Me too but I always run out of ideas. This video was great timing as I was just making my dinner menu plan for the next two weeks! 🌺 Jen
You guys are precious!❤️ I love how sweetly you interact with each other! Those recipes look amazing!!
Love all the recipes I love stuffing yum. FYI don't lock down your lid on your crockpot 😊 that feature is only for transporting.
That footage was from 3-4 years ago, and sweet subscribers like you let me know that same tip! I don't lock it anymore. :) Thanks for looking out for me though!
I loved the Grandma stories.... your husband is a great story teller ... please share more ❤
I just “ tried “ one of the stove top recipes on the box and I think it was very good !
The Aldi herb stuffing is great for making salmon patties ♡ thank you for sharing these wonderful recipes 😋
Ooh that would be good. I gotta try that too.
Oooohhhh...... Me too. These recipes are great.
Awesome! I just set out some sausage last night and wasn't sure what breakfast casserole I was gonna fix. Now I know. Thanks!
I really love your videos especially with your husband! So funny! So entertaining and so informative! Thank you!!
I know you said Cole loves meatloaf. My friend's mom uses a box of stove top stuffing (breaks it up a bit more) in her meatloaf for seasoning. It's always been a favorite of mine
Sounds great!
I never tried that with my meatloaf. That sounds so good. Im going to try it. Thank you.
You guys are awesome together. Thank you for all the great content.
It was marked down at my Aldi. Sure wish I'd bought all of them.
Loved the talk about Grandparents. Very touching.
I've made that breakfast casserole for years, it's so versatile. I make it with diced ham a majority of the time. Great video!
I am so glad to hear this. I wondered about ham. We are not big sausage eaters here so I will try the ham and sauté it with the peppers and onions. Thank you for sharing this.
I just love your humor, recipes, husband and son. I enjoy "Mandy in the Making and will tune in every week! God bless you all and keep you safe.
Thank you so much!
I know what I'm making for breakfast this weekend! Love your "story time".
I'm gonna try this thanks Mandy 😅😅😅😅
Wow! Glad I found this channel! I love the recipes. I love the conversation while you're cooking and between you and your husband. I love cats. Especially a cat who appreciates a bit of cheese! A winner all the way around!
Thanks Mandy! Your family is adorable. I love that you have hubby as your taste tester!
At 21:19, the transcript said "Turkey cakes" instead of Turks and Caicos!🤣 I just love your little stories, and the humor that you and Steven share. Y'all make the cutest couple! Happy Valentine's Day!💘 P.S. I just LOVE that little Gracie Lou. Give her an extra piece of 🧀 from me!🩷
Lol 🤣
Thank you. Here I was saying, "Turkey what? Turkey Jankos?" Believe it or not, that got me nowhere searching. I wonder if Siri could have gotten it though.
I love listening to your stories! Thank you for sharing. My husband and I will be married nine years in May, I have to agree, laughing and having fun together is so important in marriage. We haven’t been on any trips together yet, but I think there is one in our future. 😊❤
I remember going to pick blackberries with my paw paw along the railroad tracks in southern Louisiana. Maw maw put them in the sink with water so the worms/bugs would float to the top. Then she would make the best blackberry cobbler there ever was.
Good memories to hold on to!
I am super excited to try every single one of these but I'm really excited for the instant pot recipe I absolutely love my instant pot my husband however does not like spinach so I'm going to have to come up with a substitute maybe asparagus. Is trying the breakfast casserole for dinner this evening. Love yall's energy and laughter my husband and I are the same. We absolutely love going to Jamaica and we'll be heading there in July for my husband's 60th birthday and are 29th wedding anniversary.
