I agree with everything you said in this video man, you know how i feel about Case, like most others. I also agree that they are some of the best if not the best with their bone. Gorgeous knife brother i love those blues!!😎👊
Thanks buddy! I have faith that they will get it together and improve the F&F. Until then I will strictly be handpicking from them. Unless it's an older one like that Copperhead of yours 👍
100% the bone is gorgeous on that one! I just came into a 2009 Mediterranean blue one and I’m surprisingly enjoying it! Stinks that the real artistry has evaded them lately and I too am rooting for them to make a return!! Thanks for sharing!!
YES!! THE HEAT IS HORRIBLE HERE IN NC RIGHT NOW!! The only Cases I own are either gifts or bought in person at my local IGA or SMKW. Beautiful knife, though!
"What's for you, won't go past you". I've picked up some knives that should have gone back, but when I tumbled it around, it spoke to me somehow, and I just fixed it. As you say, it shouldn't be this way. People who just want a pretty knife will not tolerate a loose blade. Case is relying on fans and that's a risky business. I really enjoyed that review and it's a good-looking knife. What can you do. Enjoy!
Well said Ian! It hasn't bitten them yet, and I always feel by not returning the knives that I'm part of the problem. But I also know it will cost me time and money to go through the warranty process, only to end up with a minutely better knife that probably has issues the first one did not. *sigh*
I root for Case, but I don't play the Case lottery anymore, the only way I will buy a Caes now is from my local dealer, which happens to be a Master Dealer. Nice looking Canoe brother.
I’m a case lover too but it’s gotten to the point where they’ll be no more online ordering. Mass production back log and and a struggling quality control but I’m pulling for a bounce back. I have a large case dealer outside of Archdale, N C that I’ll pay a visit.
The wobble is fixed now. The stepping and gaps on the backspring is what is really bugging me. It is pretty. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the Bokers I've been buying haha.
That's a beautiful knife. What a shame Case is not listening to to all it's customers feedback. I even noticed a little blade rub on the back of the main blade. Enjoying the videos.
That bone and jigging is beautiful. Nobody does bone like Case. One thing though, you shouldn’t have to be rooting for Case, we, our fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers have been, and were true to Case, it’s time they get their stuff together, and be true to the folks that have kept them in business for so long. Sorry you had the fit and finish issues. Thanks for showing that beautiful knife.
I made it a point to start adding more Case knives to my collection, instead of just my beloved Buck knives. But the Case knives have had so many problems lately, most especially my high-dollar “Highbanks”. In the case (no pun intended) of the Highbanks, it isn’t just a QC issue, it’s a *design* issue. Case had better wake up. In the meantime, Bear & Son, RCB, and Rough Ryder keep nipping at their heels. I am really liking my new Bear & Son knives, and they are USA made!
Yes! Well we talked about it on the other video but we're both fans of Bear & Son. I've been buying more older Case knives and/or buying my new ones in person from local dealers. I just happened to see this one online and took a shot at it. Kinda bit me lol
I love my Case Canoe and I’m thinking about diving into Canoe collecting as well. Really wish they would put the Native American paddling the canoe on all of the blades.
I know how you feel. when you spend that kind of money on a Case knife, it should be right. I would have sent it back. I've lost out on a few series because I don't want to accept the new lax QC. I do love Case. They're my favorite and I'll keep buying them, but I'll send them back if I have to.
Thanks for the comment. It's just really unfortunate we have to wonder whether or not to send back such a high percentage of knives we buy from them. I have sent a few back. This one I'm still conflicted on.
It seems like Case has been very hit and miss with their quality. We were just discussing this a little on the last live show we did and comparing quality control with Rosecraft (not a fan of them). But great video and wish that knife was a little better. Thanks for sharing brother.
Ya it's definitely a crap shoot these days like I said. I don't have any experience with Rosecraft personally but they look nice from what I've seen. Why don't you like them?
It may very well be put together better. Case does amazing work with bone though, there's no denying that. This knife is beautiful, but there were stupid mistakes made that are really unacceptable at the price point.
Bought my first canoe a few months back. It is the China made Buck from Walmart. I love it. I have bought four more canoes since. It's amazing how many days of the week I find a canoe in my pocket now.
@Tarheelsteel update: last night my wife needed a knife to open a package. I pulled out my white smooth bone canoe and handed to her. She liked it so much she told me she was keeping it. 😟 They are very functional knives.
Old Queen Canoes are way nicer than Case Canoes and some were made with super steels and are nicer than GEC Canoes and sometimes can be found on Ebay for really good prices look me $75 to $150.
I haven't found too many on ebay but I agree the Old Queen canoes and just pocket knives in general were excellent quality. I used to have quite a few back in the day. Thanks for the comment!
@@Tarheelsteel I think they had a big turn over in employees when closing down so long because of Covid and the new ones really don’t seem to have that traditional pride in workmanship
@@propblast82ndI second that. I have faith that they'll get their MOJO back. And they still make knives to utter perfection at times. The ones I've bought recently that I bought in person are flawless.

@@Tarheelsteel yeah that's where they get ya lol
It’s about normal here in Eastern NC my brother. 😂
@raybo34 they actually said we're going into a drought here lol I hadn't heard that word in a while around these parts 😅
Beautiful knife. I too love Case but hope they get their quality control together!! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for taking a look brother! I believe in Case!
Very nice knife, love the style 👌
Thank you sir I appreciate it!
I think we all root for Case. Hopefully they start listening. You can only skate on name recognition for so long. Have a great day!

Thanks John! It's a pretty good example of Mediterranean Blue. I appreciate you stopping by 👊
Now this is right down my alley brother. Gorgeous piece my friend. #CanoeCrewStrong 👍👍👊🤝
