the way you speak about books is so COOL you definitely have a way with words, and I love how you use books as a vehicle to share really interesting ideas and theses, like the idea that love happens in the indirect spaces, I had never thought of that and it is really thought-provoking... I really feel like you're bringing something fresh to booktube, please keep making videos like this! also your appartment looks sooo cute

I read Acts of Desperation in 2021 when I wasn't fully into my reading and I feel like I enjoyed it but having heard you speak about it, I HAVE TO PICK IT BACK UP!
I completely agree about love stories in books. I really enjoy a realistic love story. After The Winter sounds very intriguing.

Okay, you may have peaked my interest in The Pisces - the idea of playing with power dynamics in a relationship is always fascinating to me 🤔

Your description of the Nettel has me intrigued! I also feel like I now need to pick up The Pisces and Acts of Desperation immediately. As far as the Levy, you might vibe with Real Estate better as far as nonfiction but I also think her fiction is better. I’m still swooning over Swimming Home and I read it last year.

I read Acts of Desperation last year and didn't really enjoy it.. the protagonist pissed me off so much.. I just couldn't accept how she let herself treated so bad by him.. I know that's the point of the story but it just pissed me off :D I got the pisces today in the mail and I'm so excited for it since you posted it on your instagram story! I've heard from it before and was intrigued by it but you really pushed me to buy it and I fucking can not wait to read it on my holidays!! Sending you love from Berlin
