I'd say it sounds like 𝘯𝘰𝘸. As a youngster loving electronic music back to Moroder and "Cars" back in 1980, I too thought it sounded like "the future". But 42 (!) years on, electronic music in one form or another pretty much dominates this century 22 years in, the future I dreamed of is 𝘯𝘰𝘸. (Love this track, by the way.)

That was the moment my love affair with Royksopp began and, to this day, they've remained my favourite band. Am so excited by this collaboration and of course by the new album and prospect of seeing them live this year.
I really enjoy the late period of Röyksopp. You can sense the maturity and the deep understanding of what they are doing. Though the recognition and acceptation by the wider public is far behind, I even like it better as I feel myself a bit of a musical gourmet, so do you, don't you friend?
