STORY OF THE FAMILY: Not sure how to begin telling my story, but here’s what led to this monstrosity of a deplorable home.
After 9 years of being in a domestic violence relationship I finally got away from the abuser. I was slowly becoming more confident and doing well. COVID gave me and others in my home cabin fever and I began drinking. While being constantly harassed by the abuser from afar and my family fighting with me over something minor like invitations to a function , I get told some very personal disturbing information that crippled and devastated me. Guilt and shame drove me to the unthinkable and I was on life support. After surviving I was sent to the appropriate setting but was released with no available aftercare and then the self medication with alcohol started and I just slept. No one else bothered cleaning since I always did and it lasted for two years until I was looking to get help and hire help but I got sepsis from a relative who was brain dead but was a donor so I went to their bedside. Got very ill and somehow survived 4 months. I had no fever, I wasjust swollen and my psoriasis got very bad. nothing was not done at all at two other hospitals. Finally after begging EMS to take me to the next county they found the infection and saw that it gave me
major organ failure. Spent2 months in the hospital on palliative care with antibiotics and getting blood transfusions but made a miraculous turnaround when I was given days to live and told I would have died that very night if I had not called 911. Came home to get my life back and get this home together, not even looking for a cleaner I was on marketplace looking for cleaning supplies and found this wonderful person whom is a huge blessing named Barbie who did not charge me a dime and is working her butt off to give me my home back to pre depression era. Thank you for not judging and doing such a beautiful job on my home. She’s god sent.

As someone struggling up from depression and badly in need of organizing my apartment, I love to watch these and get in the mindset of sorting even some small part of my tiny mess. Clean, but not organized. These really help, so you're not just helping the person whose home you transformed!

A tip for painting, if you cover your paint pan with a tall kitchen bag, tighten and tape the back with tape. Turn over and press out the air. Then when you are finished tear the bag at the bottom fold up the bag and you have no paint clean-up. Just toss into the trash.

Never underestimate the power of just putting a coat of paint in a room.
As Barbie showed it is not that hard and miss-tints can be picked up cheap at paint shops etc.

It will be cheaper for them to buy new or get something used in better condition. When clothes are this dirty and smelly you need several washings and even then it usualy doesn't work and they still stink. It is a waste of time and money.
Depression can hit anyone at any time. Barbie you're just wonderful for what you do and how you treat your clients. Stay well, 💚🐝

I wish they can get a rug in the bedroom. Or paint floor. Even indoor/outdoor rugs from IKEA or Target.

no child should live in filth like that. As for the clothes it would be cheaper to go to the thrift store and buy clothes than to try to clean those ones.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the color of Abigails room! TIP: when painting pipes have you ever tried just using a roller not on a stick bent in a U Shape then dipped in the paint and slightly squeezed out? When I owned my own home I painted the small bathroom a color that was a bit darker than this. Now I rent and nothing will be the way I want it again. Sadness sets in for the season and doesn't let me go. I miss my Mom and the soft place she had for me to fall.

You can add white to dark colors to lighten them if you don't get to pick the colors or have donated paint. Your energy never ceases to amaze me! Thank you for helping this family!

Remember to always clean the laundromat machines with disinfectant because some people want to wash clothes covered with roach and mice poop. Guess it beats the landfill.
Some people cannot afford replacement clothes.
If they can't afford to replace why did they allow their "home" to get to this state of filth?
Disgusting they would even wanna attempt to wash them. I hope they use bleach or some kinda disinfectant!
And, hopefully they disinfect the washing machine they use.
These poor children! Definitely a call to State authorities is warranted. This is neglect and abuse.
