@marzgirl99: That's part of why I like him so much as a character. He's a sociopath with more masks on than the one we see. We have too many of the villains in LoZ being calm, collected sorcerers and whatnot. I'm happy to have a villain who is relatable in a way that after a lifetime of not getting what he wants, he's gone over the edge and into hysteria. Such an incredible character. ^.^
i always thought that i could oddly relate to zant. i can understand how not getting what you most desire is maddening. how he desired to be loved as a ruler, and in not obtaining that he took it by force an became a tyrant. how in gaining everything he wanted, he lost everything he once had. dreams, love, humanity, and most of all, sanity. a person is made upon their choices and experiences, and his turned him into a madman drunk with power.

@marzgirl99: Plus, it emphasizes how fucking sinister Ganondorf truly is. You think Zant will be the ultimate baddie, but he's really just a grief-stricken pawn that Ganon uses then numbly throws away, like a toy. But, yeah, I also like how pissed he gets. :D It makes the situation frightening, because for the entire game you're lead to believe that this guy will be a god amongst men, but in all reality he's a fucking sociopathic nut who is, as we can see, fuggin' DESPERATE to kill you.

or maybe because One can be dead and one can be alive but they must both be alive at the same time or they will truly die so zant was probably waiting for Ganon(n)(dorf) to revive him.
At first my thought was: ... is he some kind of humanoid bug? then it turned into beign a bit in awe of him. then, his mouth opened at Lanyru and i though Gyah! he is young! then with his mask off i though he was a young adult with bug eyes and a long body... and then he threw a tantrum and i though: oh my, he killed his baby sitter... also, where is his dipper?
Zant was much more intimidating earlier in the game yes, but he just looked ridiculous later when he was all jumping around, with his strange voice.
