@@the_best_saiyan8448 breath of the wild has plenty of memorable tracks, and personally I think it’s hyrule castle them is better than this one in some cases.
i was young when i played it the first time, listening to this music was so entertaining, and i was afraid of soldier with the weapon turning around him in the princes jail... nostalgic
Tasorius Well, there is that theory as well... I know what you're talking about I just don't know the English word for it. But there is a theory that says whenever someone makes up their own reality/world/nation, etc. a parrallell universe is born. Sadly Hyrule would be unreachable for us as of today :(
skrivbok My thoughts on that are a bit different. I don't believe another world is created when you think lot it. All possible worlds already exist and people can discover them through "imagination". However it is, I will reach those worlds though. I have to be more than a human to do that though, which means that I can't reach it until I get free of this mortal shell... So I'll live through this life and go there when it comes naturally...
+Toni Games Hmmm... Not truly... there are some that rival it and probably beat it out such as that of John Williams, specifically his work in which he does the entire sound track of every Star Wars movie. Cue Episode V soundtrack
And I thought the original was good....this version is easily the most badass theme in any Zelda game, it gives me chills throughout the entire thing :3
I played this song over a long pause where no one was talking during a game of Axis & Allies (WWII hardcore strategy boardgame). It felt pretty good since no one was talking; felt kinda like sinister planning was going on for every team in the game.
Yeah. She's 22 in that game, and old enough to assume rule of Hyrule. I'm pretty sure she's referred to as Queen in both the Prima guide and Hyrule Historia.
OptiumusMagnum I understand that's what the guide and historia say. But the guide and historia are not the actual in-game text. In fact Midna even calls Zelda the "Twilight Princess" in the game when you first see her
Certainly not the only LoZ game worth "revisiting", but easily my absolute favorite of the entire series. The first Legend Of Zelda game I ever beat, and I'll never forget how good it felt to strike down Ganon and listen to the beautiful end music & credits! This song in particular is one of my favorites too, full of darkness and intensity with a sense of urgency.
+Gigaroid In fact, this song is from the BS zelda games, which they made an orchestration for it:heranbago.com/sounds/BS%20Zelda%20OST/disc1/Koji%20Kondo%20-%20LOZ%20S_D-%20Hyrule%20Castle.mp3
For those who aren't aware, this is the version of the song that was featured in the Japan-only game BS The Legend of Zelda: The Ancient Stone Tablets.
This just kicks epic ass!! I am loving it man, it really sets the mood in Whence i heard it Instantly recalled the twilight princess hyrule castle wich IMO kicked major ass... Thanks for the upload pal
Just visited the National Videogame Museum in Dallas earlier today. They have a place where they show music from some games and how it would sound on various game consoles. This is the one they played for ALttP. Amazing song, and it shows you just how exponential of a jump the sound was from NES to SNES.
@Snickerdude64 i love this song, ever since i heard it the first time in a link to the past... i was tempted to just sit there and listen for hours on end
Alttp's Hyrule Castle has always been my favorite music of all Zelda games. It looks like if Hyrule Castle is trying to invite you in its own darkness lurking in the dungeons of the castle via its own music itself.
If I ever win the lottery or somehow end up in the line of succession and everyone in front of me dies, I'm moving to a castle and ordering that this song be played forever.
Zelda started way back in 1986 with "The Legend of Zelda" "The Legend of zelda- a Link to the Past" was relesed 1991 so there was a lot of time for Nintendo to improve their graphics and music, but in my opinion it isn´t about playing it in 3D or on the newest consoles. It´s about the Hero and the Princess and this feeling like beeing a Sword-master is most epic on older consoles
even better i imported them both in audacity, changed the tuning of the zelda theme to C, and sped it up a little, and played both riffs at the same time. The exact same, except one note. Crazyyyy
Words cannot describe how awesome this is. Favorite part starts right around 0:45 and goes for the next 30 seconds or so... sounds like an organ or something!! I love it!! -3 pure awesome.
man, the wings look like horns with feathers on them, and the thing right under the triforce looks like a devil's head ... o.o although zelda is fecking awesome.
He's only half right. While this version may be featured in The Ancient Stone Tablets, it was originally released on the Zelda: Sound and Drama CD the was released in Japan following the success of A Link To The Past.
@Snaavelstopic When you think about it, TP is more like ALttP. light/dark worlds tansform into an animal in the dark worlds the person you thought was the main villain turns out to be controlled by ganondorf
This song is for Hyrule Castle what the "Imperial March" was for Darth Vader. I wish I could have the fanfare at the beginning of this song play before I enter any room.
@megaknightz And those three ways are represented by characters in-game. But everyone knows who are they, lol. Link = Courage, Zelda = Wisdom, Ganondorf = Power and they all have the corresponding part of the triforce.
Soldier 1 "Well were boned" Soldier 2 "Why?" Soldier 1 "Dude if i walked into a castle with this music playing i'd wreck everyones ass to.... SHIT HERE HE COMES!" Link "YEAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
@duckedtaped No its not just you, i think its design is based around perception trickery as the popping effect is only noticeable if you stare at it. the Colored ones used on some of the OCRemix titles also have a movement perception the light illuminating around it seems to move but in reality the image is static.
one of the best songs of the zelda series :)
This song doesn't make you feel in a normal castle.. It makes you feel like you're on a serious mission or a huge quest! :D Love it!
Legendary era of video game music, probably the likes of which will never be seen again...
thats right goddamnit!

Yeah, epicness get's even more EPIC!! :D
My actual fav part,I thought before that it was an independent song, but then after 3 years of searching it was here all along,in the hyrule castle
Kali you're quite the Russia enthusiast
Nothing beat music in video games ;3
True that

Long Live the Kingdom of Hyrule!
Just because it is not in this world doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Please don't assume something like that.

Gotta love how in Twilight Princess, they refer to their ruler as "Queen Zelda."
they do?
Yeah. She's 22 in that game, and old enough to assume rule of Hyrule. I'm pretty sure she's referred to as Queen in both the Prima guide and Hyrule Historia.
OptiumusMagnum
In the guide and historia, they do, but in-game, they still refer to her as a princess
MLDKF The guide and historia also make a point of stating that Zelda's 22 years old, while Link is 17. So she's literally old enough to be Queen.

Nintendo should do an official and professional concert that plays songs from every Nintendo game

A REALLY awesome one.
This is the one song that comes to mind when I think of this awesome game.

First 6 secs perfect ringtone... I must have
One of the best Zelda-Tracks all the time! Especially the part from 0:57 til 1:25
@ArasmusSOU this version is actually an orchestrated version, not a synthesized version
Favorite Zelda right thar!
man, the wings look like horns with feathers on them, and the thing right under the triforce looks like a devil's head ... o.o although zelda is fecking awesome.
damn nice
"All the zelda games are good"
OBJECTION!
Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link.
Even then slightly better than Faces of evil and Wand of gamelon
He's only half right. While this version may be featured in The Ancient Stone Tablets, it was originally released on the Zelda: Sound and Drama CD the was released in Japan following the success of A Link To The Past.
Perfecto Epico

Soldier 1 "Well were boned"
Soldier 2 "Why?"
Soldier 1 "Dude if i walked into a castle with this music playing i'd wreck everyones ass to.... SHIT HERE HE COMES!"

@randomdude1138 well, about 0:55 those instruments are trombones and tubas and before, about 0:45, those trompets and horns
And the hyrule became an outlaw that’s how all of this happened.btw I love this story
