I actually liked this rendition of gerudo valley Cause it still will always fit, it's not like they made it sound worse, I honestly think this is the best version
This song is a master piece the percussion the bongoes the castanuelas the typical zelda voice background all to make it into an inviting but menacing invitation to a vast desert like the one on twilight princess it sure embodies the scenario link is in when you visit gerudo desert
I don't know...I love both Gerudo Valley and Gerudo Dessert, but I really love the bounce this song has. And the woodwind @0:58 with the strings accompanying it...I could listen to this on repeat for hours (and have done it before) just waiting for that part to come back around.
Not sure how it would turn out, but I'd like to see a Zelda game set completely in the desert. It might get boring, but then again, ocean could have been boring and it wasn't
to me, the song goes great with with the desert, just like you said, plus the song gives it that feel of security, and mild danger mixed into one thing, giveing everything you just said more of a dangerous feel to it
whenever i hear this song it reminds me of when i was in Arbiters Grouds, saw the undeads, and stopped playing for a month..Excuse me while i go cry in the corner..
@dadeejay9811 Hyrule Historia is only available in Japan right now; hence, the book and the timeline is written in Japanese. Until Nintendo releases the book outside Japan, we can only rely on translated copies online.
I couldn't agree with you more. Then I come in and say I like TP better then both of them...and I'd get screamed at. Honestly though, OoT is my favorite, but TP is my second favorite...I just love the whole theme it has. But you're so right, every Zelda game has something different and unique to offer, I wish we'd all stop arguing and just realize we all have something in common...we love Zelda. There was no Zelda game that I didn't like, they are all amazing in their own right.
Your description… Koji Kondo didn't write this. He wrote almost nothing for Twilight Princess except for the demo movie theme that was also used for the E3 2005 trailer. That's IT.
Hell yes! Its truly amazing how much originality goes into Elder Scrolls AND Zelda over-worlds. Both series could benefit from taking bits out of each others settings.
I fell in love with a link to the past when I played it (I was a child) then came ocarina of time but only remember seeing my bro play it, I absolutely loved wind waker, then got mind blown with twilight princess, after that I bought ocarina of time for my wii and what can I say, I fall in love way too much
To those who keep saying OOT's is better, stop. Likewise, you can't say this is better. The songs personify very diffferent areas. This one represents a wasteland with rolling dunes and mystery. The one in OOT as fromm when Gerudo VALLEY had life, so it represents a culture's music. Very different feels here people.
OoT bonus stage: Gerudo training grounds OoT bonus Reward: Ice arrows TP bonus stage: Cave of ordeals TP Bonus Reward: extra bottle, faeries in each spring (based on your progress in cave of ordeals), fairy tears in springs(once completed @ 100%)
I like the TP Desert better because 1) More Expansive 2) The Sun, Heatwaves, Bulbin Camps, Etc. give it a more "Desert-like" atmosphere 3) The night cycle affects the Aesthetic feeling of the desert rather than having a 24 hr sandstorm 4) Bonus stage is better and more rewarding 5) The music makes me feel like a desert merchant, some guy named Farid, or a Desert merchant named Farid will give me directions
@skotmongoose Actually, with all due respect, every LoZ game has been a true work of art. Yes we may choose one from another to our liking but the real truth is....Legend of Zelda will continue to grow. You and I, hell everyone, knows that the series has caught our hearts. This is the truth I speak. Other than that, SS does have a great soundtrack. My favorites are Demise Battle and Fi's theme :)
They're all great games. The new things about Skyward Sword were very attractive, although really the same could be said when Twilight Princess first came out. And I guess nothing can really replace childhood memories...
I like the Lanayru Desert in Skyward Sword because you can see what portions of the desert looked like in the past! I wish there was a giant time shift stone that turned the complete desert into it's original form with trees water grass and flowers. Not to mention robots!
@@ThorWilliamOConnor also what i find really interesting is that since the game is at the start of the timeline, lanayru is a desert because deserts change from wasteland to wetland every hundred thousand years or so, so skyward sword probably took place near the end of those hundred thousand and thats probably why its a wetland in almost every other game, also i absolutely love the concept of those little robots being ancient and the whole vibe of the desert is just really cool to me in that game
PH and ST where two exelent games, I loved em, they had exelent gameplay, a simple history and the best sountrack in all the series, specially Spirit Tracks. You're probably a troll.
@MrWesdotcom omg yes. i love every zelda game even tho' i dont like SS zelda so much as all others but i still love it. Majora's mask just was something that got in me.
Wise words come from you. Besides if you like Zelda games you should admire all of them (maybe some of them more :] ) but all in all every Zelda game is fantastic adventure and fun to play!
@xXwitnessXx3452 Ditto. I got stuck trying to collect tears in the Zora's realm. I had one more left, it even showed up on my map, but it was ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE to be found.
According to one of the wikis, there is 1 century between Twilight Princess and Ocarina of time. In OOT Link is about 9 or 10. Looking at OOT, Hylians look like they age in the same way as humans do. Looking at this evidence, TP link is most likely the grandson of OOT link. That's the full reason why Larry Smith is incorrect.
Love Zelda! So many zelda games are just beast! I love wind waker the best because the sea is just my home. I love oot, tp, ss, loz mm, and lttp as well :)
404 - Gerudos not found
XD
Fact: Zelda music is the best video game music. Ever. Period.
Let me introduce you to NeiR
Let me introduce U to Castlevania...
Let me introduce you to Ys
Let me introduce you to Kirby...
Let me introduce you to Shantae
but, yes, Zelda has some absolutely amazing music!!!!! :DDDDDDD
I actually liked this rendition of gerudo valley
Cause it still will always fit, it's not like they made it sound worse, I honestly think this is the best version
i like oot version better tbh.
The bits with singing sound like they belong in a Metroid Prime game... Which is a GOOD THING.
One of the coolest songs from the Zelda franchise imo.
This gives me more halo reach nostalgia than anything else
Everytime I'm in a desert, on any game. I always think of this.
Every time I hear this awesome song I picture link riding the big boar(pig) through the desert.
It sounds like assassins creed or prince of Persia music
I just love this music
lyrics:
*music*
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
OOOOOOOOOOOAHAWH
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
*repeat*
XD
😂
Arbiter's Grounds is probably the hardest dungeon in the entire game.
This song is a master piece the percussion the bongoes the castanuelas the typical zelda voice background all to make it into an inviting but menacing invitation to a vast desert like the one on twilight princess it sure embodies the scenario link is in when you visit gerudo desert
am I the only one who likes this gerudo theme better than the ocarina one?
Javier G me too. i don't know why. but yeah.
I mean both are great but I can hear this one for hours and not get bored
Javier G
This and Faron Woods. I never get bored, hehe
+Andres V Ocarinas is far better.
I like both and in this one you can slightly hear the Ocarina version which I think was probably the basis for this track
This guy knows what he's talking about: a motif is a recurring thematical element, which is the entire franchise in a nutshell!
I imagine a Squeleton King marching over the desert with his thousand of troops.
This game is becoming my favorite zelda. The camp invading part in the desert has to be one of my favorite parts if all video games.
Link goes to the gerudo dessert:"Where are the hot gerudo chicks?,,
I don't know...I love both Gerudo Valley and Gerudo Dessert, but I really love the bounce this song has.
This has to be MY FOVOURITE theme out of all of them
When I'm passing through a desert, I going to start playing this song! ^^
ugh SO MANY PLAY THROUGHS. Of awesomeness.
The "friendzone princess" thing made my life. Thank you so much for that :D
to me, the song goes great with with the desert, just like you said, plus the song gives it that feel of security, and mild danger mixed into one thing, giveing everything you just said more of a dangerous feel to it
i just realized that the palace of twilight is a dungeon within a dungeon
It took me days to get through the desert because I just stood and listened :D
wait are the voices... the people who died in the desert and prison?
TP UNDER-RATED!!!! GREAT MUSIC!!!!
ocarina may be the best game, but twilight princess has the most beautifull, chilling, kickass and amazing music of all zelda games
I really doubt it, all their games are extremely well thought, to the minimal detail... nice catch!
I love them all for their own reasons!
LttP is my favourite too but to be fair, they are all brilliant in their own way. It's down to opinions which is the best, but they are all legendary.
I love this theme!
i like that song
This makes me think of the Bryyo theme from metroid prime 3. Now I need to play the entire metroid prime series. Thanks -_-
whenever i hear this song it reminds me of when i was in Arbiters Grouds, saw the undeads, and stopped playing for a month..Excuse me while i go cry in the corner..
your face when you realize both this and Midna's Lament actually are remixes of the Hyrule field theme
@dadeejay9811 Hyrule Historia is only available in Japan right now; hence, the book and the timeline is written in Japanese. Until Nintendo releases the book outside Japan, we can only rely on translated copies online.
Ughhhh I love this game.
zreo is making a orchestated version that is pure awesome
I always wanna sing along to this song ^_^
this part was awesome, with midna and everything =P
The secret gerudo desert monster arena was badass i finally beated the game 100% and i stil beta it again and again
@Nannerz12 its actually in the name of the song :P... they are the Gerudos, a Tribe of thieves.
I couldn't agree with you more. Then I come in and say I like TP better then both of them...and I'd get screamed at. There was no Zelda game that I didn't like, they are all amazing in their own right.
This song is more intense and interesting than the Ocarina of Time version
Olalalalalalala !! Décidément, c'est ma préférée celle là =) J'l'adore ! ♥
Favorite place!
Your description… Koji Kondo didn't write this. He wrote almost nothing for Twilight Princess except for the demo movie theme that was also used for the E3 2005 trailer. That's IT.
Its like a forbidden temple. with forbidden music and forbidden puzzles. and its forbidden
Leroy's light is out so leroy is still happy!
Hell yes! Its truly amazing how much originality goes into Elder Scrolls AND Zelda over-worlds. Both series could benefit from taking bits out of each others settings.

Because they said stop and Link is a polite guy like that and does things people ask him.
In ocarina of time and in Twilight Princess the orchestra made really great works for the gerudo themes!!!!!
OoT bonus stage: Gerudo training grounds
OoT bonus Reward: Ice arrows
TP bonus stage: Cave of ordeals
TP Bonus Reward: extra bottle, faeries in each spring (based on your progress in cave of ordeals), fairy tears in springs(once completed @ 100%)

BEST OVERWORLD SONG
This makes me think of stallord and the arbiters grounds which is by far my favorite dungeon.
Thats because its the general theme of the game, you hear many variations of it (like Hyrule Field)
I love how they make new zelda music using similar melodies. no one can do that but miyamoto
the gerudos have the best themes in every game!
I'm all about Skyward Sword but the songs on OoT and TP cannot be replaced in greatness.
@skotmongoose Actually, with all due respect, every LoZ game has been a true work of art. Yes we may choose one from another to our liking but the real truth is....Legend of Zelda will continue to grow. You and I, hell everyone, knows that the series has caught our hearts. This is my favorite Gerudo theme :D
They're all great games. The new things about Skyward Sword were very attractive, although really the same could be said when Twilight Princess first came out. And I guess nothing can really replace childhood memories...
this makes me think of the movie prince of persia.those worms popping out of the ground always scared the crap out of me. ESPECIALLY THE HUGE ONES!!!
I hated the desert but this theme made it SO much better :) Favorite theme
I like the Lanayru Desert in Skyward Sword because you can see what portions of the desert looked like in the past! I wish there was a giant time shift stone that turned the complete desert into it's original form with trees water grass and flowers. Not to mention robots!
not to mention lanyru desert past theme absolutely slaps
@@agynth Absolutely.

Kind of makes sense, atleast if you understood it. Thanks for pointing that out :D

i like the actual area in tp better butfor the actual theme... OoT deffinitely takes the cake
@xXwitnessXx3452
Ditto. I got stuck trying to collect tears in the Zora's realm. I had one more left, it even showed up on my map, but it was ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE to be found.
why did i sell my gamecube, no more zelda ='''(
Thumps up is you love zelda!
I really wanna hear gerudo valley twilight princess! I bet it would sound epic!
amazing!!!!!!!!!
TP and oot are my favs
Yay I love this song XD
I love this song so so so much *O*
The desert was actually empty in OoT, all there was were flagpoles, a carpet merchant, and a ghost
I remember this part. Is this the part when you have the iron boots on and you have to tackle that rolling animal thingy?
when the beat comes back in at 1:37 is epic
My first time playing:
"Wow, this is really coo-WTF WAS THAT!?!?
According to one of the wikis, there is 1 century between Twilight Princess and Ocarina of time. In OOT Link is about 9 or 10. Looking at OOT, Hylians look like they age in the same way as humans do. was now im at twilight palace
twilight princess is the best zelda IMO
Damn Straight....Zelda Ftw!
Same here, maybe it was amazing when it came out, I thought it was very good but preferred Twilight Princess :D
I believe the connection is pretty direct, especially since he refers to Link as "Son". Meaning they are direct relatives
i know also zelda 2 but ss is the first to come to mind
I kinda wish that Gerudo Valley was in this, like a secret cavern for an extra quest or something. Imagine seeing the Gerudo Thieves again!!!!
Windwaker and Skyward Sword, hands down my favourite Zelda games to date.
Love Zelda! So many zelda games are just beast! I love wind waker the best because the sea is just my home. I love oot, tp, ss, loz mm, and lttp as well :)
I can hear a wind blowing in the background. Interesting.
heavens to betsey this is snazzy!
@Bloodskaal00 There's a reason why that game is widely considered perfect...
This sounds just like "Code of Conduct" by Hans Zimmer. It's awesome.
This is Gerudo DESERT. the one from Oot is Gerudo VALLEY.
