This game has the best tracks
...HAH...
:d
Dont make me laugh
Oh RAILly?
-okay i'll stop-
Did you have to TRAIN to make jokes like that?
People who complained about having to traverse the overworld in a train were clearing playing on mute.
Accel yeah
Very safe
The music was the only thing keeping me from not not finishing the game because of how bad the train was, not gonna lie.
It was because of this song that I forgot where I was going every time xD
Bud moment
Fun fact, no matter when you start the train, when it hits max speed, the sound of the wheel will sync themselves with the beat of the music.
Genius design too. Nintendo knew what they were doing. Gosh I miss this game
For real ??
It still exists. Just go and play it.
Veryyy trueeee and i loved thatttttt
True
Absolute best things about this game:
1. This song syncing up perfectly with the wheels of the train at full speed.
2. Phantom Zelda doing that thing where she puts her hands together and sways side to side like a big armoured sweetheart.
Jet H. Stream the Buizel Alphonse eric?

It’s been well over a decade since I saw that Phantom Zelda thing and I immediately knew what you were referring to.
God that game was special
Is it me or does it seem to desync a bit in the forested areas?
this zelda is pretty cool yeah lol
*pulls the whistle 1000 times until i get to the destination*

I 4got u could pull a whistle that was so much fun

Step 2: Casually sit next to someone (preferably a parent)
Step 3: Quickly turn sound to full and use whistle
Step 4: Get shouted at
I hated encountering enemies bacause then this song would stop playing xD

It's literally the same case every Zelda in the exception of Botw.
Wesley Velez hyrule warriors
@@bertie9653 The first zelda, Zelda II and the one you mentioned hyrule warriors, these don't have a battle theme.

Those opening few notes are enough to send nostalgia chills down my spine. A seriously underrated gem.
nostalgia is so powerful haha
Yeah this game was my childhood too
Both DS titles are super underrated.
ikr same , i'm crying rn
@@Mimikins a zelda game where you're stuck on train tracks and it's ridiculously linear with no open world aspects?
Not only was it universally panned for being an awful game in general, but that concept doesn't even SOUND good at all. Bad game is bad game. Good music though.
Phantom hourglass got pretty garbage reviews too, no interest in trying that one out.
The fact that the percussions simulate the chugga chugga of the train 👌🏻
Train whistle to flute
Spirit Tracks is one of my favorite Zelda games.
I SAID IT!
Did you just get here, Son?, it's my complete favourite!
Drako Alcarus
Well, my list would be like this:
5. OoT
4. Link's Awakening
3. Spirit tracks
2. Majora's Mask
1.Wind Waker
I think my top ten would be
10. Loz
9. Spirt tracks
8. skyward sword
7. Links awakening
6. Link to the past
5. Oracle of seasons
4. Majoras mask
3. Oracle of ages
2. Wind Waker
1. Ocarina of Time (3d)

this game doesnt just have a soundtrack, it has a spirt track *fist bumps myself*

Good joke🤨
Spirt. Oh no
So, you said a pun and then punched yourself. Gotcha.

Words can’t describe how much I love this song.

Nintendo are just amazing, it's crazy to think that you keep coming back to the same music over and over again, and I'm making music myself today, so I realize just how much work goes into it, it's incredible ! ❤️
easily the best thing about this game lol
This track is very underrated in my opinion

I played both games on my Nintendo DSi XL. It was fun. I love Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks because these 2 are my favorite games. Also, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks follows the Adult Timeline. Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel to The Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks is a direct sequel to Phantom Hourglass and it takes place after a 100 years.
That's me actually. This theme changed mind.
Spirit Tracks is an underappreciated gem.
101 likes and no comments? I'll change that 👌
They need to give these two games (PH+ST) the Link's Awakening treatment. Just use the windwaker visuals, keep the top down approach, implement the standard control scheme and boom remake.
Am I the only one who's still terrified by the bullet trains? Yes? Ok...
No those trains were terrifying. Especially the underwater ones
I wouldn't do the water level at first because of them lmao
Well that was one. The other was those damn phantoms and their ohko crap.
ShadeShadow234 I hated them so much... sometimes I got trapped between two of them and I couldn't do much but wait for my terrible fate...
Youre not alone.
I remember loving how the sound of the train perfectly matched the song.
Yeah that was so awesome :) sometimes is just drew a route just to listen to the music :D
Hope that somebody cares..
Blubberhirn1999 YEAH! I used to do that too!
Mahir same here :)
Man, this brings back such awesome memories, even so much later. People hating on Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks have no taste. They have secrets hidden around every corner, fun mechanics, great bosses, terrifying enemies, even on the rails.
The Demon Trains were always absolutely terrifying, and the way you absolutely demolish them when you finally enter the Dark Realm is epic.
Zelda is a legacy I hope will continue forward for many years to come.
PH is weak in many aspects. But Spirit Tracks is actually a Top 5 Zelda title. Means its really good.
I know I'm late but i agree with ya, Spirit Tracks' Demon Train boss fight is so epic especially when i was just a kid. Fighting that big ass Train with your own train is so cool.
I know I'm necroposting, but you're so right. Spirit Tracks is an incredible game. The only reason people think it's bad is because Zelda has some of the best games of all time in its roster. If this game were under any other series than "The Legend of Zelda," it would be ranked as an amazing puzzle adventure game.
One of my favorite zelda games. Legendary!
So underrated musics are juste inasane It's crazy to think that when we were little we didn't even realize how incredible she is, especially today when I'm doing some musics I realize what an incredible amount of work it must have taken to have such a masterclass ! ⭐️

I can’t understand why theres a train, and I LOVE IT!?
Haha I get it legendary cause legend of zelda
Yeah same.
I remember waking up early on a Christmas morning to receive this game. I was so happy, and it was such a beautiful song that listening to this brings back memories. This game is one of the best. Way too underrated.

First Zelda game a beat as a kid. I played oracle of seasons on my dad’s old gameboy color before I played phantom hourglass and spirit tracks on the ds I got from aunt at 6 yrs old. I didn’t beat oracle or phantom hourglass but I did beat spirit tracks and then played the original on wii ware in the late 00’s/early 2010s cuz my dad was apart of the big nostalgia boom for nes during that era. No
i hate how a lot of people shit on this game just because trains were involved. this was a good game, with a great story and great boss battles and puzzles. and the part that people were dismissing this game for, the train, was one of the most fun parts of the game. riding around, blowing the whistle at everything, blasting enemies with the cannon, going through portals, tunnels, and forests, it was all ridiculously fun. hell, even the escort missions, where you brought people to different places throughout the kingdom on your train, were fun. i'm not going to say that it beats out MM or Ocarina, cause i've never played those, but it still feels like a Zelda game ought to.
I think ppl hated this game because it's a sequel to phantom hourglass (a kinda bad game)
Edit: hah, I made this comment years ago and forgot about it. I love Phantom Hourglass and at the time I was just kinda following the popular opinion from the time.
I've never actually played this game, but it just seems kind of strange to have a train in a fantasy game. That's like having a train in the Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. I'm not saying it's a bad game, though, because again, I've never played it. It just seems different.
Burt Macklin well, they had steam powered boats in Phantom Hourglass, so trains aren't really that far fetched. especially since the story of Spirit Tracks takes place after Link and Tetra from PH settle on a newly discovered continent. trains would have been the next logical step from steam powered boats.
I AGREE!
Umm... with VioletLightning.
I really love the feeling hearing this theme after beating the dungeon
Everyone hated on spirit tracks for the train. Personally, I thought everything about spirit tracks was great... except those GOD DAMN PAN FLUTE DUETS. The first few are super easy and forgiving, but the last few.... well, to put it this way... the sand temple one kept me from completing the game for 10 YEARS. In the end I found a way to cheese it and that was the only way I managed to get past it.
The game was amazing everything was good, I hated the demon train things tho, and the damn mics were so weird.
The 4th and 5th one are the ones that give me trouble. The rest are easy
I legit did the fire one by just spamming flute
😂
i hated those
"The customer is always right".
This applies to everyone except people who don't like Spirit Tracks. In this case, the customer is wrong.

I loved blowing the whistle in time with the song. One two one two
+realafan888 I cannot agree more. I was afraid I was the only one!
Absolutely! It was so much fun!
cool... never thought of that... Someone should make a video of it. xD
like in the trailer :,)
Same! ^.^
I think the toon games had the most charming music. The games overall had more charm to them compared to other Zelda titles. Thats not to say the others didnt have charm, but Wind Waker and the DS games just had a lot more
What about skyward sword?
meh
***** hahaha skyward sword you're funny man xD
No seriously i personally didn't like it but if you did I'll respect that. We all love zelda and that's what's important
***** Ill admit that the Ballad of the Goddess is one of my favorite zelda songs, but other than that, none of the music stuck with me like others did.
I do believe you are forgetting the beautiful score of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which had some true gems in it, such as the Hidden Village and Midna's Theme.
I've never played any Zelda games so far... But I just listened to this song again and it almost made me cry (but in a beautiful way). My younger brother has played this game and he once showed me this soundtrack. I really loved it! It feels so nostalgic and adventurous to me. I liked it so much that I started to learn it on the piano (which I can play decently), but I wanted to play it... properly! Since there are too many notes to play at once for one person (I took in almost all the instruments in my piano arrangement) I thought to myself: "well, you could play this with your brother!" He loves the song too, but he can't really play the piano. So I gave him the easier part. We started to learn it but we stopped after a while... Maybe not enough motivation, I don't remember exactly. Anyway, all of this happened maybe two years ago. Now I moved to Germany (my family lives in Italy) for university, and today... I was playing the guitar and randomly remembered this song! I tried it out and I still remembered some of the chords by heart! It wasn't difficult to find the missing ones. And now I came back to listen to this song on RUclips and it really reminds me of my brother! It's a beautiful and sad memory at the same time somehow. (He's still alive just to be clear) :))
Wow
Thank you for sharing! Wherever you are right now I hope you and your brother are fine
So much nostalgia, I played this game when I was a kid (I’m 17 and 18 soon) and I just noticed how much this game got trashtalked, I never noticed before (I was way too young) this game is my favorite Zelda game, the ost, the gameplay, everything is so perfect ! I remember being so scared when the evil trains were after me haha
Dude same here 17 going on to 18 and I feel the same way
I used to play this when I was 10...
There are no evil trains nor good trains. There are just trains. All trains follow the path which they were created for. All trains have purpose and necessary evils to balance them out. The train that chased you is there to keep you sharp. A hero can only be as heroic as his challenges are difficult.
Until you understand that, you will never be a good engineer.
Enjoy your youth! Live it up, take chances, say yes, be happy!!

Spirit Tracks is the most underrated Zelda game in my opinion. It's so fun! The whole OST is great. Phantom Zelda is one of my favorite companions bc shes just so incredible in this game.
That rope tangling in the upper screen like that, you just can't resist to scretch the horn/chimney
A lot of people complained about the amount of travelling in Spirit Tracks. That was never a problem for me because I got to hear this awesome song.
AtheistGamer Plus this gives you the adventure feel.
And you can see the vast world.
Hearing it again literally made me cry, it makes me feel like it's saying it wants to be free, break all the barriers and explore the world, I just wasn't able to hold my tears, that's how much I love it
Am I the only one who is sooo nostalgic hearing this ?

I love how the overworld songs for Spirit Tracks and Wind Waker go along with your vehicle. A nice, upbeat tune to go along with the chugging engine of your train, and a calm, floaty song to go with your boat bouncing along the waves.
I don’t care if I get hate because of this opinion, but this is my favorite Zelda song.
This game came out in the perfect timeframe for me to play as a young kid. This music is pure nostalgia
Damn. Spirit Tracks may be my favorite Zelda soundtrack. It's so good.
This is absolutely stunning, as is the entire game. Yet it's still widely the lowest rated Zelda game. Definitely in my top 5 👌🏼
Yesss! At last someone agrees with me! When I finished the game, I was just so... Sad! It was a beautiful game, yet I found lots of haters on the Internet...
As all zelda games spirit tracks is great, but i prefer phantom hourglass over this one, both are really similar but i feel ph is superior.

4.spirit tracks
3.nes
2.majora's mask
1.wind waker.

Started playing it yesterday, I got so much nostalgia from it even though I never played it or Phantom Hourgalss, or even Wind Waker ( ;-; ), It's so damn good, and I already love Zelda.
I played those two last year and felt so nostalgic 😭 must be because of the sound chip or the ds or the system itself

Yea a wind waker hd remake was a start but itd be epic to see a new too link game thats after sprit tracks with niko and alfonso, there havd to be a completly new concept tho
That would be cool! Think about it! Spirit Tracks world was HUGE! The only issue was the trains limiting where you could go. If there was ever a sequel, trains could just be used for faster transport, but you could explore wherever you want on Epona or by foot! Toon Epona huh... Hell yeah! :P
Snoop Doge tht be pretty cool as long as niko and alofonso are in it

Actually, no Zelda game is bad. They're all just good in different ways.
Exactly, I feel that Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks get ALOT more crap from people then they actually deserve. They're mainly hated because they're both different from other Zelda games but the controls flow well and they are actually still very good Zelda games in they're own right. Yeah they both have flaws but the positives WELL out-weigh the negative (at least in my opinion).
There is so much more truth to this than I can express, every zelda fan should hear this. I'm going to quote you on that.
they're fun, shouldn't that be what matters?
Look up Zelda CD-R. That game is arguably the worst in any category.
Jae Klone Um... I think you're talking about CD-i? Right?
I love this game ans this track! This game accompanied me when I lost my job and had to stay home for a long time. Still listen to Spirit Tracks music till now and my 5-year old loves the game and music too

The soundTRACK is fantastic, honestly.
this song is so uplifting! like you want to venture into new lands, like you want to blow the whistle with the song and you want to ride the tracks! it's so great!!!
I underestimated this game a lot, until I finally decided to play it, to be able to draw a conclusion, and man, it's been a while since I had this much fun playing a game, really (sorry for my english)
I have almost no memories of playing this game, but as soon as I heard this music an immense nostalgia feeling hit me right in the feelings.

This was a beautiful song, and an even better game. A very underrated game, and a real gem for the DS Lite. The best part of this song was to carefully match up the train's sounds with it to serve as a sort of background instrument.

I can never get over how the bassline at 2:47 matches the ocean theme from Wind Waker it's such a perfect allusion to the boat riding from that game and how this all takes place in the same world and adventure just took new forms
Currently listening to this while riding the train
I always appreciated how you never had to follow the path you laid out and that you could diverge from it on the fly, unlike Phantom Hourglass. Also this song is incomplete without the sounds of the train.
