I just find it funny how all that production quality, getting a horse and everything, just for a 5 second clip of sitting on a horse while it lazily walks off screen...come on. yawn. If you fed that thing a carrot, legend of zelda style, it wouldn't be casually walkin.

@@kevincloud574 well yeah thats how horses work, and he actually was smacking her with his hand, or bow, if equipped. Spurs are over kill and more western than eastern used for slow lazy western horses so you didnt need to hold a riding crop to get it to go because your hands were always being used for working cattle.

Really love the attention to detail in the "in-game" sections, from the hud and mini map showing, to how you mimiced Link's running animation of flailing his arms around, just beatuiful!
I especially love how one of her "c button items" is her violin, which I didn't even notice until the third time watching.
To be fair carrying something on your back does tend to push out the swing of your arms.
But yes, attention to detail + music = insta win.

The moment she started playing, my heart dropped. Must say I have yet to even get to that point in the game, but it is the best piece of music of any game I've listened to, and she nailed it.

El NEMS I am from 2023 and I can confirm that this indeed what the remake is like.
I LOVE TLoZ, I first got into the games when I played BoTW a few years late, I then played ToTK when it released, went on to play SS and now I’m at MM before I play OoT. Actually one of my favorite game series and if not my most favorite, it grew on to me and I see why so many people love it.
Every video you make you always have just the most genuine smile and you can feel the love and passion you have

I think this is the best version of Gerudo Valley I've ever heard.
My grandma bought me this game in eighth grade and I lived with her for a year and I used to play it all the time it was one of the only Nintendo games that I have ever beaten and now she is 92 and critically ill.
This is my FAVORITE arrangements of this song! So vibrant and emotional.
I figured I'd post this here, since this is my favorite Zelda song.
I've always liked the violin, but I was never brought up playing it. After watching you playing some... I think it might have been some final fantasy X songs? I don't know, in any case, it really motivated me to buy a violin and start playing. Now I'm finally at a point where I can get music out of the thing I actually enjoy hearing, and I love it. I just wanted to let you know, and thank you for your inspiration! You really have changed my life, as strange as that may seem.

After this went viral so many people realized how beautiful this song is. There have been full orchestras who decided to play this song because of your video. Yet none of them are even close to this cover. Absolutely beautiful work.

I realize that I'm not the first one to the "you're an idiot" party, but you're an idiot.
The entire historical zelda soundtrack has been a point of interest for independent musicians and listeners for 20 years. This song is one of the best and some Lindsey Stirling Copycat is not the reason it's popular.
Her style is pretty clearly derivative.
Not to say she doesn't have her own identity, but she's clearly taking advantage of the elements that made LS famous overnight, creating content designed to reach out to that particular fan-base.
There's nothing wrong with that, basically all businesses do it. But denying it is juvenile

Boy, I just love the scenery in this video, this is what I imagine Gerudo Valley would look like if Ocarina of Time were filmed for live-action, which I really hope they do.
Its Sedona, AZ, at a place called slide rock. If you ever want to see it for yourself, or slide down the rapids, it's quite fun.
That scene, with the background, the horse... All of this was perfect.

I love how you continued to record this video even though some of the hairs on the bow had come lose near the end of the video! I actually think that made it look a bit more epic. xD

When you record the video, you use crappy gear. Because your not actually catching the audio for it. That bow probably got dropped on the rocks a few times.
That just happens while you're playing. I played violin for four years and it was a somewhat common thing. It's usually only a few hairs of too so it doesn't affect your playing considering the bow has so many.

I have played many many games. over many years, on consoles, on computer and for me. Ocarine of Time remains the best game I EVER played. I only wish it could be made available for PC and love the music these people make.

It gave me chills Taylor! It's the best test for good music! I began watching your videos some years ago, and you still impress me! I also enjoyed the style of the video... My personal opinion is that Lindsey Stirling's videos have too many meaningless movements (personal opinion only, not a negative critic), and your movements look just natural. Just what they are.

I agree with you on the point made on Lindsey. She's also a dancer, that's why she moves so much. I don't like it either personally because it got repetitive, it's almost the same in EVERY video. She's still a great violinist though, I love both their works.
My friends and I wind up with similar comparisons of the two. We like it all, all the same. Good violin on RUclips is never a thing to take for granted. RUclips's been a better place with the both of them.
