High tech - Aaron is a Genius
That right camera - if tapped just a little bit more - the side rails along the dump body would align perfectly. As you were tapping it, it was almost there, but Aaron stopped you before it was perfectly aligned. If you look at the screen with both sides next to each other, you can see the right cam is just a tad lower than the left. FYI. Other than that, looks like a cool setup! Good job guys! (Sorry. My OCD was kickin' in big time, lol! I was like yelling at the screen hoping you'd hear me, Mike!)
The right camera could turn out a hair to match the left.
🙂 Your camera connector nearest the cameras, inundate them with dielectric grease, do not wrap with tape- when water gets it, it wont come out and using a 1-3 heat shrink will give a glue seal that would be ok if 3" to each side on the connector, just make sure no grease on the wire -- Looks great- glade you guys do it right, inspiration 🙂

Excellent. Probably one of the best improvements you make to the truck. For others running wire in any application, I recommend you mock it up using a rope. This is more accurate than a tape measure and a cheaper test than potentially pinching or stretching your wire. When you are happy with it, use the rope to pull the wiring through.
The cameras look great on the truck. You really have MBTS really comfortable in that truck a cup holder, heat, air conditioner you mentioned the bunk bed but that's too big all you need is a bassinet he'll fit in it. Lol😂😂😂😂 good job guys

Bassinet? I was thinking maybe a hammock. Maybe spring loaded with a Bluetooth remote rewind? All we'd need after that would be another camera to catch the in-cab action.

Tack welding a washer on one side and bending up the other makes an excellent anchor for zip-ties

When we threw away our old couches years ago, I kept some of the cushions and they work great for laying on hard surfaces in the garage...and for extra dirty ones, put a cardboard box down first, then the cushion. That would have made the laying on top of the dump bed to do the camera much more comfortable I think. Plus since it is an old couch cushion, it doesnt really matter if it gets a bit dirty.
Big piece of cardboard for rolling around the truck = Redneck creeper.
Where I am from the roofers call them Cadillacs. Backside/hip comfort and will not slip on a slope.

Cameras look great! When you get older, and your eyes get dim, you can always put a big screen in the cab. 😆
A camera system is gold on a truck. I installed one on my fathers road truck more then 20 years ago. Especially the right side side next the cab is a dead corner on cab over engine trucks. For this truck I can imagine that you don’t need a second man to watch now anymore.
I just hope the side cameras don’t get dirty from the rear wheels slinging up the mud.

Camera on the bed needs those top screw holes sealed. Also drill holes in the bottom of your camera boxes to allow any water to exit. Water intrusion is your worst enemy when installing exterior cameras.

If you are worried about ripping wires off, which I would be with MBTS driving, you could use 3/4" galvanized conduit for electrical to armor protect them. Love you Aaron! lol

Improved visibility and safety! It took a while getting used to the backup camera on my pickup. I'm still old school, using my mirrors and looking behind me, but the camera with that extra wide view is a plus. The cameras are a huge improvement when it comes to bigger equipment! Bubba dump especially. A+ upgrade!
Brilliant idea, being able to monitor sides, rear, and load. Driving blind or using guess work just dont hardly cut it with cheap cameras available for mounting. Should be a major step forward DP. 👍
MBTS is one smart guy, wearing his advertising hats. Does he get extra for wearing a DP shirt in the videos? Aaron is more than a great welder/heavy equipment operator, he’s a great entrepreneur.

A suggestion: Concerning winter workshop for the tractor and trailer (s). Right where your bus is along side current garage, is a great spot for an extended garage built long enough for tool bench(s) and for both the tractor and trailer connected or separated and wide enough to clear each mirror by a foot on both sides. Based on google overview, there is more than enough room. Just a suggestion. You could also have your door entry on the same wall 90 degrees to the door bubba dump came in.

On a large vehicle, cameras can be a godsend. Now just to have fun, you need to put a picture of yourself just in front of one of them as a gag when you have Matt or someone using it...
When working with stubborn little screws and nuts like that, I found out that a magnet on antenna works great just a suggestion, looking great

Dirt perfect I put a similar camera system on my class a motorhome it had a existing camera on the back when we bought it but while driving if someone came up either side of me there's a point about half way up the sides where they would disappear in my mirrors and I couldn't see them I mounted one camera on the back and one on the front corner on each side and also one on the front giving me 360 view at all times and allows me to see clear down the side of each side on my coach comes in real nice on multi lane highways my back camera I point down at my hitch on my tow behind we also find ourselves using leaving these cameras on once we get parked giving us a 360 view from inside our coach of our surrounding's while in the coach at the campgrounds giving us a sense of security especially at night
You should have placed the side cameras behind the lift cylinders. They are obstructing the view.

I think you should have ran those bolts down on the cameras so if they vibrate loose the bolt won't fall out. I like those cameras. Seems to have a great view. Nice job guys.

The best way to hold bolts for welding is use small copper tube. Keep you hand away from the bolt.

Di-Electric grease and heat shrink on the connectors (as mentioned by others) is a great suggestion.

I still think you need multiple screens. At least 1 on each side for the side cameras and 1 in the middle for split screen top n bottom. Also the cameras should have stickers on them. Just put the writing right side up...
