That looks amazing! I keep seeing cool model kits, buying them, and not building them. You've inspired me to dig them out and spend a Saturday with coffee and model kits!
Very nice job, Louie, as always. When I was a kid back in the late 60s early 70s. I used to go to my uncle's and aunt's house and look at my cousins Hot Rod magazines. The Tasca Ford and Gas Ronda could usually be found there. Thanks AMT for the memory of a great race car. And thanks Louie for sharing your excellent build with us!!
Nice choice of options to go with. Taska sold a boatload of these and the Thunderbolt. Back in the day when one of Taska’s cars showed at a local drag strip the stans were always full. Good rendition of a classic car 😊
Great build. I love the livery you selected. When I saw this kit for the first time, I was thinking it might look good in this scheme. You confirmed as much. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, excellent color scheme! I think I’d buy that kit just for the decals but it looks like it really benefited from the retooling and went together well.
Well done! Great to have so many choices back again. Looks like you might be able to build a base fastback, GT fastback or Shelby out of this kit, as wll as your drag car.
It's great that R2 retooled the 2+2 body shell! They REALLY should have used the inner fenders, engine/trans and chassis from the very nice 67 Mustang kits instead of reissuing that very innaccurate original promo toy chassis. The cost to do so should be very low and I for one would be far more inclined to buy the 66 kit. Instead of having to also buy a donor 67 as well which doubles the cost to me to build an acceptably accurate model.
Yes sir, This one Round 2 sent over for my to build on my channel. We have partnered up now, and are sending product out for full builds. Thank you for watching!

Awesome build Louie! What is the needle nose super glue you use?
I got it from a “Warhammer” store near me. The name of the product is “Citadel” brand. Good stuff. Thank you for watching
