The enormous Lexis grill is finally beginning to make sense to me. This is one classy and elegant vehicle! Also, thank you for not only reviewing the biggest sellers, but also including sedans, cabriolets etc. This channel really is a car lover´s fantasy come true.
the last generation of lexus looked horrible! now they got it down better
Whether you buy this used or new you know that it will last for a long time.
Can’t beat Lexus quality and reliability - PERIOD.
That is what I keep hearing and reading
And now with a sensible twin turbo engine and 4WD
Well the German cars such as 7 series and s class beat this anyday
Avishkar Singh Both are depreciation disaster. Lease only.
@@apt62 I was talking about them being better in terms of tech, comfort, power etc and not residual value
I now get more excited for a Raiti's Rides video than I do DeMuro. Very underrated channel.
THIS....is a good channel!
Doug is sooooooooooo overrated!!!! I've stopped wathing his channel... same boring ass content all over!!!!
Yes i agree
James Winslow yeah I concour, he’s seems like a very nice guy and explains cars without biased.
Doug is an Ultra 6'4 Panzy nerd.
Will buy this car... in 20 years on the used market.
Plus it will still be very reliable!
Raiti's Rides no doubt
In 5-10 years it’s gonna be a hell of a used bargain
And you will find it like bow no change
Facts!! And it'll still be worth it
Props for knowing a little background history of the car. Some RUclipsrs don't even know the stories behind the car.
I got one after watching this vid, Matador Red in March of 19; thirty grand off list new!!!! 15,025 miles. In love!
I really enjoy your videos. You aren’t really biased towards a certain brand, like many reviewers now a days. Your reviews are fair and honest, so thank you for that !
Thank you Carlos that really means a lot! I appreciate your support and thank you for watching!
Keep the videos coming loving them.
You got it Brian!
Been loving all of the nice cars you've been trying! I don't think anyone else knows the details about each car as you do.
The call from Mark took this review to the next level. Nicely done.
Thanks for letting me share the laughs with you!
I sat in this car at the NY Auto Show and all I gotta say is those seats are the most comfortable seats my peasant ass ever sat in. I began to consider selling drugs so I could afford this Lexus as I laid my head on the lazy boy soft headrest. Only problem was having to step out to let the next fool try it out and question his career choice.
This is some shit I would say 😂😂💀
Lol
😂😂
Personally I think the Audi A8/S8 and A7/S7/RS 7 are the most beautiful cars, however because of price, long term reliability and long term cost of ownership I'll choose Lexus.
I get so hyped for two seconds when that Raiti intro music kicks in.
Thanks man! You should watch my season two trailer!
Man , you did a lot of reviews and I can't catch up with you love it. Lol
This is my dream sedan! Good video Joe.
Great review as usual. definitely best bang for your bucks ! price, styling, comfort, reliability and best of all resale.

You are so on point! Thanks for your support!
I would choose this over German, Bmw,Audi,Mercedes, just for the reluability. But Toyota us cutting corners. Toyota, like Nissan, need to focus on quality, rather than quantity. Beautiful castle. Great review Joe.
Car*
imagine choosing a $100k luxury car just based on reliability... The S class and 7 series are better than this in every other way.
Even my living room can’t compete with this car.
Nice video Joe. This looks stunning, but I would prefer the F-Sport simply because it looks sharper. I also found it interesting that neither Audi nor Mercedes offer a similar color. Only BMW does.
CHIEMEKA AMUZIE this car in person, is beautiful bro! I concur, I would definitely take the F Sport too lol
Absolutely love your review of this Lexus LS 500. A BIG THANK YOU

festures.. Thanks for your valuble efforts.. And keep up the good work 👋
Thanks for your awesome support! I appreciate the idea! I will try to get that together!
Raiti , the 2019 Lexus LS 500 does have Apple Car Play but it doesn't currently have Android Auto as an available feature.
“Poor people drive Mercedes, rich people drive Lexus.”
This vehicle is beautiful..
GM needs to take notes and give me a damn cd player in my Camaro!! Great review as always
Really? I dont think people use cd players anymore? 1 in a million may be lol
Lexus LS500 or the 2020 Genesis G90 are the best cars in this class. No other car, even the Germans, can come close to what these 2 offer (appearance and bang for the buck wise)
G90 looks boss
Jacob Rael Have you seen the upcoming 2020 G80?? Absolute beautyyyyyy
Great car! Love it!
awesome ride yo
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Thanks for info. It was time to replace my 2004 ES 330 (250,000 miles - and still going strong). I meant to buy a 450LH but drove off with this!!! A corporate lease return @15K miles. (Limited use during Covid). I’m still learning all the “how to’s” while my 7 year old grandson had his seat warming in less than 2.5 minutes. (I didn’t realize there was a touch pad in the backseat console)!
The drive is everything you covered. Things to get use to: The car beeps at you if you change lanes w/o blinker. You may notice it will steer away from another car getting close to your lane and you didn’t realize it. Agree, the mousepad controls are not intuitive. Only negative… Trunk space, room for 2 golf clubs bags or 1 bag and cart… my ES had trunk room for 2 bags and 2 carts.
Great review, good idea hiding the speedometer 😂
I hated that part. I wanted to see the guages in action.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 🏆
I am so glad that you like this one!
Grill is ugly as hell
Never ever had a Lexus on my roadmap but damn that's a good looking sedan...
I know exactly how you feel!
Well.?..the most reliable luxury cars for years...!
People are missing out if they have never had lexus
Hey it man. I just got mine 2018 f sport black. Can’t say enough about the car.
Beautiful.
Would take this over the S class and German luxury cars. Lexus makes the best Japanese cars. 0-60 is 4.6 seconds not 5.3. I would love to see this engine in the small IS and GS.
I wouldn't call it the best they still don't offer Android Auto in some cars.
Damn the back seats are amazing
I totally agree with you!
Awesome review Joe! Lexus IS by far the most reliable & luxurious brand. I have a 2013 Lexus ES350 and love it. Solid like a tank and quiet like a vault ! I’m repeating myself, I’ve commented recently about my ES. I’m extremely happy with it. Bought it pre-owned this past APril w only 30k miles. I’m the 2nd owner, I’m sure it was garaged, not a scratch on it. I have 3 driving modes, ECO, Normal and Sport. Obvious change when you from ECO to Sport mode, immediate acceleration boost (it downshifts). Opposite effect going from Sport to ECO, the car gets so tame, you can feel it get soft. I’m going to have this ES for many many years! As a safety net, I bought an extended warranty from the Volvo dealership where I bought it, 4 years /48k miles whichever comes first. Maybe a waste of $ considering its a LExus, but you never know. Giving the fact i financed it, the extra monthly payment for the extended warranty was minimal compared to if I didn’t get it.
This LS500 is a gem, definitely out of my reach, but hey in 10 years when my ES has 120k miles maybe ill pick one up ! 🤣
Stephen DiBari lexus is designed to be driven. Dont be afraid to drive and put miles on it. Put at least 20k miles/year to get your money worth.
All the best! 👍🏼
The headlight looks like the "Z" transition from Street Fighter Alpha
Thanks for sharing your input on this one.
This could have been the Supra's engine!
So very true.
This car got me so excited just by watching the video
Good review
Thanks for saying that! I really appreciate it!
WOW SO LUXURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you sir for the review 😋👍🏻👍🏻 I’m a big fan of Lexus ever since I bought my is250 AWD in 2014 😌 .. great on gas, performance & reliability,. The LS 500 is a beauty especially the front grille but I’m just afraid after installing a licence plate, the lovely aggressive look will be sort of ‘discounted’ 😔😞
I am so glad that I could share this one with you.
Joe you need an Oscar
I love this video so cool
Hi Joe!! This car is one of the most underrated luxury sedans of all time! Lexus designers and crafters definitely know how to get things together!! Great review as always! I laughed especially when you say ON THIS LARGE SUPER SIZE SEDAN and when you make that fake phone call with Mark Levinson (HELLO? YEAH YEAH I KNOW, SORRY ABOUT THAT! BYE BYE 🤣🤣) I sincerely hope to buy one sooner or later! Hopefully the LUXURY version, which is the presidential version!! At the moment I own a BMW 3 series MY 19 but I'd really like to purchase this big car equipped with the finest elements and with an efficient hybrid system which enables you to save money in the long run! I mean, I love the Jaguar XJ and the Maserati Quattroporte, but the Lexus LS is the only way to have a giant luxurious sedan without spending too much within a short amount of time!! Keep it up! Also, I hope you and your family are staying safe during these quite tiresome times! Peace
Thanks for letting me share this one with you! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it! Of course we have to laugh a little a long the way!
Wow exteremely amazing car interior as well as exterior is bomb hope have good expectations from lexus for upcoming future and makes more luxurious

I love all the Lexus cars except for the mouse pad that's why I chose a 19 Avalon instead of the ES 350 and I couldn't be happier it's the best car I've ever had and I'm almost 50 and I've had almost 30 cars in my life and the Avalon blows all of them away. Also I agree with you about the SUV thing a car is a whole lot more fun to drive than a boring SUV in my opinion. Great review by the way.
Very good points Frank, especially about the Lexus pad. I really appreciate your support!

Was not expecting $103K price. It is beautiful though.
Michael Paul who can afford 100k new car
People pay $100k for shitty bmw n mb. Why cant the ls500 be $100k? I wouldnt buy the bmw or mb even wirh 50% off!
All I'm gonna say is that it's so MENACING MENACING MENACING!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏😭😭😭😭😭. Yes the price is a bit up their but really it's the biggest Luxury Sedan in Lexus lineup for GOD SAKE🤣🤣!!. Would love to see a 2020 Lexus GS F 1 day. Thanks Joe. Keep up the great work and reviews.
I would like to know what makes this worth around $50,000 more than an ES350. How much more effort/quality/manufacturing techniques/other does Lexus put into this? The steel stampings this uses are probably comparable in cost to the ES350 (ex. front fender to front fender, probably about the same cost)?
Horsepower, torque, comfort, elegant and spacious and the spaciousness and Mark Levensons speakers are clean and deep.
I've been inside both an LS and an ES and I can safety tell you that there is a jump in quality and refinement going to the LS (even though both vehicles are of 2016 Model Year).
- The interior of the LS has more soft padding including stitched leather in many places like the door trims, B pillars, and the dash. The ES has some stitched leather, but has more hard plastic, just not as much as the Toyota counterparts (Avalon and Camry). Suede headliner is also not available in the ES.
- The seats on the LS are far softer. Both ES and LS have semi-aniline leather as option, but it feels that Toyota buffed up the LS leather more to make it softer. Oh, also more seat cushion. ES seats feel kind of hard.
- The LS is obviously much quieter on the road. You can't hear the engine in most cases. The ES has some noise reduction too over the Avalon and Camry, but not to the level of the LS.
- The LS suspension is also phenomenal as it absorbs speed bumps and dips in the roads much better than the ES. You don't feel it as much.
- Being RWD or RWD-based AWD, the LS feels more balanced with better weight distribution. The ES being FWD feels nose heavy with most of the weight at the engine.
- The LS in this video features rear seat recliners which are a $12,000 option. You can forego this option if you want to save on costs.
All this is on top of a bigger engine, RWD, air suspension, and more speakers in the Mark Levinson sound system (ES has 19 speakers vs 23 in the LS)
I don't know any differences in terms of steel stampings or engine refinement, but I know that all LS engines go through more examinations such as X-ray scan and acoustic analysis before they make it into the vehicles. I don't believe the ES or any of the cheaper Lexus models get that.
This amazing Lexus it’s worth every penny this is a VIP car
Love my 2018 LS 500👌👌👌
Very impressive car, and easily the best looking LS ever, but chop a couple doors, and make mine an LC500.
Is it the ultimate luxury car for the price? It always has been since it's inception in 1989.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
But back in that era (early 90's) I remember people were ver skeptical with the Lexus brand. They saw them as basically a Toyota with some luxury pretensions on them, couldn't get the point of why to spend so much money on a Toyota when you could spend that in German car or one from the American luxury divisions like Cadillac or Lincoln which were seen as real luxury. As automotive history shows they were again, wrong.
Love the lexus videos
I promise I have more of them to come!

Yes, I have a 2004 LS 430 w/180,000K miles. It’s a beast and has never given me a moment of mechanical problems. I bought it used as a lease return and plan on getting my LS 500 the same way. I have throughly enjoyed this car and the main reason I’m updating is because of technology.

Does anyone know how comfortable these are? I'm just getting out of my 2020 Mercedes E63S because it's not comfortable enough for my back and neck, both in terms of the seat and the ride quality, even in comfort mode. I have had scoliosis surgery. I'm looking for basically a grandpa car that will be soft and plush on my back and neck. I'm not looking for a super-sports car. All I car about is comfort and luxury features. The 400 hp would be a bonus.
Don't know if it's ultimate.. At least it's something different than Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
@Henry Fung more reliable yes but everything else about the Germans is better
The only zonk that i have on any 80+k car is no electric cup holders on the front or at least fridge in the back.
Maybe on the top tier models in the future, because the Ls500 can be optioned up to over 100k
Yeah 80K in used market 5 years later
Wile E Coyote no it’s not a bmw it won’t lose value that fast
I think this the best LS they’ve designed. It really has a presence. I think the S class has a better interior design but everything else is on par in my opinion.
