Woo boy, histamine is definitely NOT limited in terms of its effects in the brain! Histamine is the most overlooked neurotransmitter of all time. I'm only a professional patient, not any kind of medical professional, but the following things disappeared from my life, INSTANTLY, when I got histamine under control: depression, anxiety, irritability, obsessive thinking, hallucinations, delusions, anorexia, literal thinking, self-harm urges, suicidal ideation, nihilism, paranoia, rash thinking/impulsiveness, mania, echolalia, flashbacks, hypersexuality, addiction, insomnia, selfishness, and codependency. Histamine is a big part of why animals have mating seasons, and it's also a big part of why people feel spooky in the fall as leaves rot all around us. It's a big part of both fear conditioning and motivation, and it's involved in creativity, humor, and intuition.

What is the effect of chronic hyper histamine within the human body (if there is such a thing, I’m not a medical professional)? Is it linked to things like ADHD, asthma, eczema, etc., or even anxiety and depression? All of those things listed plus more seem to run in my mothers side of the family, and something tells me it has to do with histamine.

Sore throat, sinuses pressure, stomach cramps, fatigue, frequent urination, headaches, etc. I was tested for throat infection, urinary tract infection, flu, chest x-ray, etc nothing, they're all negative. Could it be histamine intolerance? Anyone had the same symptoms? I just came across this video doing my own research, hoping desperately to find some answers. I had the same symptoms before, and they just come back time after time. Sometimes I feel the same as the flu symptoms without fever or cough, but tired and sore the same way. I can't function properly.

Thank you so much for this! I’m not a student but I am quickly needing to learn about histamines because of my own “allergic” reactions. Mine are induced by an acute and now low level chemical exposure vs. mycotoxins. What I’m learning is my body is reacting to the chemicals in the only way it knows how and since it can’t breakdown the chemicals, I’m in a constant histamine reactive loop. I’m wondering if an H1 & H2 blocker (assuming there is such a thing) would help me.

Doctor, I have a problem with hay fever and something that's triggering too much clear but sticky mucus in my throat, it's absolutely debilitating. I use Hay Fever Antihistamines tablets, 3 varieties, I change them around every 10 days,. That's what I was told by Professor for allergies and immunology. Telfast 180mg tablets don't work on me any more.
I've been using them for over 10 years. I also use Nasonex nasal spray, but, this year particularly I have a major problem with excessive mucus, which irritates my throat very badly.
Can you suggest anything to help me with this problem.

I’m on a quest for knowledge concerning my weekly debilitating kicking-my-ass histamine overload. It’s always in one nasal-sinus at the top of the nose. Never the other side, it has a constant tickle,,, reminding me I’M COMING FOR YOU! After Racketball while the others have a beer and talk smack I’m hiding with a towel, or a shirt or whatever,,, if I’m lucky TP. The sweating from physical play and perhaps a sudden chill kickstarts the problem. I’m barely able to drive. It’s becoming more frequent which leads to another problem. You see, I dig one of the ladies that I play Racketball with, and it’s difficult to flirt with water-snot running out of your nose. I’m going watch these channels until I find something that works cause I refuse to let a current of histamine drain prevent me from flirting!!!!!
Yours Truly,,, Verbal Swag. You may call me, Verbal.
PS. As I write this in the morning drinking coffee the tickle is ramping up, it’s coming like a creature crawling thru the fog, I see it, it’s like a Steven King movie,,, it’s coming...
