Blender 2.8: Modeling a SciFi Radio

This is another scifi prop. The video is rather long just to make this radio but I definitely enjoyed modeling it for the scifi scene. It's been a very busy few days so I am making some mistakes in the video and spending some time just thinking about what I want to do. I gotta ask: what makes this radio sci-fi? It looks like the Sony transistor radio my sister had in the 1960's... unless the 60's are now sci-fi? Sci-fi retro? I guess that makes me sci-fi... although, I'd prefer the term 'science fiction.' ;)
