How to unblock a jammed / snapped filament in makerbot sketch

This video shows the process of how to unblock the filament caught within the tube of your makerbot sketch. The end result of this video is that the extruder head needed to be replaced as 3rd party wood filament was used and it dries so hard in the head that it is permanently blocked and needed to be replaced. The video does however show you the process of how to attempt to unblock this yourself and will work most of the time providing you are using regular Makerbot PLA filament.
