also the fire tower the builder i think he throw oil pot or oil bomb and the archer fire fire arrow to light it up
They both aim for the same spot, but the bomb/oil usually ignites regardless of the arrow (could be because the enemies catch fire from the arrow and then light the oil on fire when they run over it)
The funny thing in fire tower if you what to sheild wall but their no knight the builder will jump to tower and go
@@EvilGoodGuy If the arrow doesn't hit the spot where the oil landed, say if a enemy is in the way and takes the arrow, it doesn't ignite. It's a combo thing. If he throws oil on enemies that are already on fire then it'll light another patch on fire below them.
@@CaptainCrackSparrow but if a burning enemy walks over the oil pool it will light on fire, which is nice

Actually the fire towers work different than you think. The builder throws an oil (or tar) slick and the archer shoots the slick to light it on fire but if a flaming greed touches this slick it still catches on fire

3:55 Actually the builder in the tower throws oil flasks and the archer shoots flaming arrows at the oil but you and greed (if burning) can also can catch the oil on fire. Another small note if the hermit crab run over the oil they slip causing them to become vulnerable.
Oh cool, I didn't realize the crabs slip on the oil!

Thank you so much for the info. The Brewery is very beneficial when you sailed on the 6th island because the Greed Portals are sometimes are next to each other that you have at least pass two portals to get to a Vagrant Camp which are two in total, one for each side. So it's highly recommended to have that before going into the six island.

Good morning Brandon, honestly my favourite hermit is the horn hermit especially in Norse lands. They improved him a lot because if you hit the horn no matter what time it is the troops will go behind the walls. For example i did that when a new day came and the army didn't wait for the nightfall... No they went behind the walls in the gecko. Also the archer hermit is also amazing i prefer this way than the ballista from the previous updates. The others are ok in Norse lands
I never really bother to use the horn hermit unless I'm doing a run to see how long I can survive, in which case it's very useful haha
@@EvilGoodGuy it's cool. I said what i said because he is the real deal. I also like to have two horn walls on each side, because i like to use the horn on the second backup wall in case of a blood moon. I do that because i have time to scout where the greed is coming from when I haven't cleared the dock also by doing that i have time to send the army on the side of the attack in case i had them in the opposite side. I also have horn walls in the castle walls. Like always especially when i return to an island and everything decayed

That's one nice thing about this game - there's tons of different ways to play it. There isn't just 1 correct way or strategy.

Can you do the shrines next? Or maybe don't since they do work the same as the previous versions. They did made a change in Knight shrines though which I personally think is great!
Is the stone mine still on the 2nd on the iron on 4th? And what is the nordic version of the squire
@@lonewolfstrife3637 ‘stone’, which looks like birch wood, is on the second and ‘metal’ which looks like a sawmill is on the fifth island I believe

I think the upgraded berserkers should have aoe like the catapult from previous games when they leap and the knight statue buff when they swing their giant f-ing axe.

I really had no interest in using berserkers cause they aren't that good, at least not compared to what they cost and how easily they lose their weapons.
Granted the upgraded berserker would be pretty unstoppable if he's buffed with Fenrirs ability.
@@EvilGoodGuy I can see why you don't want to get the berserker there, though I wondering, maybe they are only more good if they go in group together rather than go solo ? (after all in some rts game I can see it mostly scale up with number rather than it lonesome), though if the berserker are only spawm from that tower, then what are those nature grove in the inner wall that I sometime see there ? (and it seem need some coin for it), they seem appear randomly ?
You hire berserkers at the berserker station like normal.
Then you upgrade them with the towers.
@@EvilGoodGuy So that stone + tree Grove is where you recruit berserker, and that tower is for upgrade them, got it

Hey, maybe this is oot but do u know how to spawn armor for shogun biome? It spawned once, but idk how to spawn it again.
I think my current run is bugged. I got the berserker hermit and bought a drink, but for some reason the berserker wont pick them, they just pass through the drinks.

It's actually called a "Halberd" and the berserkers no not use them. The way you can determinate which one a Halberd is and which one is a traditional battle axe is Halberds have a spike at the end. Halberds are essentially is an axe and a spear had a baby.

Do hermit houses still need to have two trees next to them or was that only for vagrant camps?
Vagrant houses are only possible after you remove the 2 trees from the vagrant camp

You need to destroy the portal monster on the island that they were stolen on.
Sir please answer this question... Why cant i upgrade my archer tower i can only upgrade the maximum archer tower to lvl 2 even thouh i have the fire hermit
you need to upgrade your castle so that you can unlock more tower upgrades.
Sounds like you are still mega early on in the game still, so just keep playing and you'll eventually figure it out.

You need to find workstations out in the forest across the different islands and purchase them in order to unlock upgrades to the castle

Nah. The hermits in shogun are all basically the same as the standard campaign (medieval).
They just look different.

They can't die.
They just get taken to the mountain portal.
You get them back after you blow up the mountain.
How to blow up the portals? Im sure you need to max upgrade your base so you can make the barn that makes bombs, but where do i get the material required to maximize my base? Norse lands btw
