Since you need the greed to obtain Loki's staff. If ever you managed to destroy the cliff portal on that island (destroying the cliff portal will no longer spawn greed on that island) without getting the staff. Fret not! You can just wait until winter and hope that the boar spawns on the same side where the statue is situated. Just drop all your coins as usual, taunt the big boi and boom! You get your staff!
If you have expanded your walls beyond the loki statue, fret not, the heimdall’s summoning horn can teleport the boar, so just build a teleporter from the statue to somewhere near the boar, summon the portals with your horn, and boom, you can still lose your crown. Yeah I had to come up with this eleborate scheme to get my loki staff
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this or not, but using Hel's Trophy to destroy the dock portal does let you build the lighthouse, but if you return while there are still portals between the lighthouse and town, your boat will be stuck and you will be trapped until you destroy the remaining portals

You only lose the game if the greed get your crown. Horses have nothing to do with Lokis staff. So you just need to make sure you have your crown. Aka don't leave the crown in the statue after you get the staff. You can't stay in greed form for forever.

They've changed the way this shrine works a couple of times since this video. Upon placing coins, player will see four of his archers walking over from their walls and putting down their weapons (they must have shields) beneath the boulders and one squire putting down their axe beneath Hel's statue, as well and braziers and runes lighting up. Then, on Hel's statue they will see a skull-like item that can be picked up for one coin. Due to the requirements, it is recommended to have a full purse (it requires twelve coins total), clean up whatever portal that stands in player's way and have relatively many archers sitting at home before activating this shrine. "

Make sure you put coins in the center statue as well. It seems the game has also been updated so that a knight is required to donate his stuff to the center statue.
You need to spend 2 coins on each boulder, then the 4 coins on the head. Then wait for archers to place their shields on the shrine and a squire to leave his axe.
You need to find wood workshops out in the forest that allow you to gain new levels of technology. Then you can upgrade the castle. It's the exact same principle as the stone mine and iron mine in the other campaigns.
@@EvilGoodGuy Thanks. I was really frustrated as I cannot get the Hels Skull. I think i need to have the upgrade of the castle so i can reqcruit the shield commander guy ( for the left and right attack commander) as archers and hammers does not give me the Hels Skull. :(
@@EvilGoodGuy there are 3 Symbols on the moss side and 3 on the dirt side of the rock. Yes there is a chopped off symbol, but even then at the puzzle there are only 2 dirt covered spots, and then 5 are moss. So how do I type in 3 moss 3 dirt in a row when it doesn't exist like that at the puzzle.
