Important additional information provided by the fine folks in the comments section: 1) The golden boar can boost farm productivity if you dig in a farm plot 2) Fenrir adds a defensive buff (same as the war horse) to friendly units when you use his lunge attack
i was about to comment that, but nontheless your video is very informative and useful, the only thing left for me to say is that Sleipnir has only 4 legs, but the rapid movement of his legs gives the illusion that he has 8 legs
There are things you missed on some mounts. Kelpie - It's wave dash attack can push away breeders too and stuns hermit crabs. Ice wall is an effective ability to block hermit crabs and the giant boar during winter since they don't "destroy" the ice walls. Blocking the boar with the icewall and letting your archers kill them is a very efficient way to get loads of money during winter. •This mount is great for defensive and stalling purposes. Gullinbursti - Not only does this mount generate coins but it also buffs farms if you use its ability near farms. Let the boar poke its nostrils in fertile grounds. Definitely a must have during winter or spring where farming becomes more abundant. •This mount is great for economy and productivity in terms of gold generation. Fenrir - it's not entirely a "carbon copy" of dire wolf in challenge islands. It's more of a combination of the Dire Wolf and the War Horse. Dire wolf because it charges stamina only at night and has the lunge attack which kills greed and wildlife if you want some extra cash. War Horse because when its ability is used, it coats all your subjects with a protective aura for a good amount of time so that they won't easily loose their jobs. Fenrir synergizes well with the Skull ability as its coating affects ghosts too. •This mount is great for destroying portals, bomb escorts, and economy as well.
For the name of all steed, I decided to search it and here's the list : 1. Sun-Moon Horse is Gulltoprr, It's Heimdall's mighty steed and the sole reason why the horse is needed in order to unlocks Heimdall's Horn. 2. The Reindeer is the complicated one as it could be either Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr or Duraþrór. All of those Reindeer is basically a stage of life (a.k.a season) from Yygdrassil, the world tree 3. Sleipnir, Odin's trusty Steed. 4. The Cats Chariot is Bygul and Trjegul, they're Freyja's favorite mounts... Freyja loves cats. 5. Water Horse is possibly Nuckelavee, Demonic Horse that brings disaster regarding water such a Drought. 6. The Boar is Gullinbursti. 7. The Wolf is of Course, Fenrir. Man... love the details of the Mythological Steed... Kudos for the developer. And thanks EvilGoodGuy to make this video.
I'm actually not completely convinced the Sun-Moon horse is any 1 horse in particular. It actually seems to be a mix of 4, maybe 5, different horses. I was originally going to include this info in the video, but it made the video too long lol. But basically, the horse is actually much more like the following 2 groups of horses: 1) Arvakr, meaning “early wake”, and the horse Alsvior, meaning “very quick”. Which are the two horses that are said to pull the sun across the sky each day. 2) Skinfaxi and Hrimfaxi, which represent day and night. Most of the horse/mounts in the game are not very accurate to the mythology anyways. They seem loosely based on the mythology, which makes sense for gameplay. Kinda interesting though!
Based on the mythology I would say thw water horse is a kelpie, as a knucklavee is more like a horse with a single eye and a human torso with elongated arms coming out of the horses back, both parts of the knucklavee have no skin.
The island 1 horse, aka the "Day-Night Horse," in the wiki and Gulltoppr in Norse mythology has a light speed boost during dawn and dusk. The closer to midday or midnight you are the less that effect shows, until you reach the slowest speeds being midnight/midday. That's how I remember it, at least. I could be wrong. Testing may be in order.
If you are able to give rankings of these mounts in this dlc, how would you rank them? Just interested to see your point of view and idea/take on these mounts
1) Sleipnir (way better than any other mount) 2) Water horse (water wave/ice wall is useful for defense) 3) Wolf (can hunt with it and kill greed) 4) chariot (fast) 5) boar (money) 6) stag (fast in forest, can attract deer) 7) sun/night horse (useless IMO)
It's definitely useful. A lot of stuff in this game is useful. It just really boils down to how you personally want to play the game. There really isn't any single best way to play the game and there certainly isn't one right way to play it.
İt s Y(Trident)I T(it s - is starting on bellow)1 T(it s -is starting from up)I Y(it s too Trident but it is inverse) it s every time same.İf you ask me to where are you know that it s writhing on the stones on that island.
There is a large broken boulder in the island that has the correct symbol combination etched into it that you need to unlock the Hammer. You can also just guess the combination if you want, because whenever you try to activate it, the incorrect symbols will turn red. So you simply change the red ones until you get it correct. But of course it's much cheaper to use the combo on the rock haha
Correction the water horse when i have it has unlimited stamina in its water state, in its ice state it has stamina so basically when it is any other season than winter you can run across the entire map without stopping it may be slower than Sleipnir but can run farther
nah, there are extra legs, bet they are half invisible. You can see them when he walks/runs. You probably can't see them if you are playing this game on a small screen, like a phone.
how do you use the damn horse xD can't figure out anywhere, i got thors hammer, and they say double tap sprint, yet nothing happens? the 3rd island horse that is
@@EvilGoodGuy sorry i mean there is a way where they follow you for protection. Not talking about the bomb. I did get it once on accident when the flying guide showed me.

@@EvilGoodGuy ow, I thought there was secrets. Thanks for the guide. I hope they update the other campaigns and provide weapons as well just like in norse.

Also I can run almost constantly with the water horse. Stamina seems like it never runs out .
The first mount also prolongs the day time and shortens the evenings.

The waterhorse have a downside. The waves you summon, puts out fires. So they actually counter your firetowers, if you use it when defending walls.
Ice ones in the winter too?
@@theguywho4sked no but yes when the wall broke they extiguise the fire
Fenrir's attack can also damage, and therefore activate, portals. Found that out accidentally -_-

Obrigado pelo vídeo, sou do Brasil mas não achei nenhum yutuber brasileiro fazendo um vídeo tão explicativo assim
I think the sun and moon horse gets a significant boost in early morning hours. I’m not sure by how much tho
Thanks, very helpful. The wiki isn't updated yet and this was very helpful.
Awesome vids, man! Thanks for responding again on steam. These vids are very helpful.
it takes some getting used to with how crap its stamina is but the cat chariot can launch your progress if you get good cat delivery rng

Just use without sprinting.
