where do you get the brush from?
I think it's either the Wet Brush Flex Dry or the regular Wet Brush Flex (seems like the only difference is the handle really). You can find many dupes of these on Amazon, Shein etc.. or get the real ones at places like some Walmarts, beauty supplies, online and so on... It's pretty cheap too .

Is this something you have to train your hair to do? I tried this, several times, and nothing happens....I'm convinced my hair can not stretch without heat😩. I've only been natural for a year. Maybe my hair is too new? I haven't even straighten it...it was lightly blown out once at the salon when she cut my hair.
I'm ok with my afro though. Love her. But would love to try a new style once in a while 🙃

@@shirleydelva9982 oh I switch so often. Do you mean light weight vs heavy? In that case I use more on the lighter side - and I'm not heavy handed - I get product buildup easy. Is that what you mean?
What do you mean nothing happens? I've done this on both wet and dry hair. Detangled hair is already stretched since the curls are removed, you're using the chunky but firm braids to elongate even more. Your hair will still have kinks when you remove them but just run a wide tooth comb through.
@@Jayariee When I do that, and take out the bands, my hair just shrinks back to its coily afro. Like today, I wore my hair in a puff...when I took out the band it wasn't really stretched. Even though I wore that puff for 6hrs. My hair isn't short, it's collarbone length, but with a hell of a lot of shrinkage (I swear 75 - 80%). I look bald...lol.
But maybe that's what I'm doing wrong!!! Im not combing out the curls, just banding. I'll try that. Thanks 😊
@@apara2005 make sure your hair is completely dry when you take out the braids. If its damp it will shrink back up

So bigger twist make the hair more stretched?? My hair is thick and tangled so I usually do like 20 twists because I have to detangle in super small sections I can barely part it
