Maybe being so convincing as a girl might have caused him and possibility producers to question his sexuality.........he was a good actor. but his friends said after his death that the scripts he was being offered were nothing short of insulting. I think he thought he might be heading down the Will Wheaton route........once he reached is twenties he was yesterdays news. It seems that young actors trading on their looks often have very short careers..

I bet Jonathon Brandis would've had the same outcome if he'd stuck around. Our nostalgia for these actors -- plus the advent of platforms like Netflix -- has revitalized so many careers.
