He was very hard on himself, and people like that tend to beat themselves terribly. His career slow down a little bit, but it may have picked right back up things go in lulls sometimes. That’s the ebb and flow in Hollywood. The transition between adolescent and adult roles takes time. Seems to me, like he wanted everything to be happening at once, because fame is a drug, and if you’re not doing something, they think that they’re being forgotten

According to his father (back in 2021), Jonathan Brandis was suffering from bipolar disorder, which is one of the real reasons why he left this earth. So sad that this was his final movie. He probably would've gotten his career revived after this one.

The thing I didn't understand is if Chester said that he's buying a dress for a young lady which was Matthew's twin sister, why was he making Matthew wear the wig to make him look like a girl while in the store since the dress wasn't paid for yet?

I truly believe it was “Finasteride” that caused his suicide. I tried this last year for my baldness and felt the worst depression of my life…with fuller hair. I now love my short hair and am happier with less hair. Finasteride has some nasty side effects and I have read that Jonathon Brandis was on Finasteride for hair loss before his death.
