God he was so gorgeous! I really think he would have remained successful as an actor even though people say he wasn't happy with his acting career. He was so talented!! I think he would have likely gained more acting roles. Leonardo DiCaprio and other "teen heartthrobs" often went through some acting slumps, but look at how much great work he has done. RIP gorgeous Jonathan Brandis :(

I feel like Brandis had a lot of potential for things like TV roles and voice acting roles. Yeah it's not necessarily going to have people thinking you're a star or some people will call you a failure, but well known actors like Mark Hamill and Keith David known for big name movies early in their careers really made a reputation for themselves as top tier voice actors for many great works in animation and video games. I honestly could have seen Brandis doing a good amount of voice roles, or getting supporting roles in some cool sci-fi TV shows had he given his life more time. In fact I think someone like Brandis would have made for an interesting cast choice for sci-fi shows like Firefly or Battlestar Galactica in the 2000s with his skill set and unique looks.
Exactly what I was thinking! Now, absolutely no disrespect towards David Kaufman, I truly think he was great as Danny Phantom, but I feel Brandis would've been perfect as the series' protagonist. If he ever gave it a shot.

That’s the ebb and flow in Hollywood. The transition between adolescent and adult roles takes time. Seems to me, like he wanted everything to be happening at once, because fame is a drug, and if you’re not doing something, they think that they’re being forgotten
Jonathan could definitely pass as Chad Michael Murrays cousin or even brother. Also, in this clip, Jonathan sounds a bit like Jensen Ackles. I miss him so much. I love you Jonathan.
I truly believe it was “Finasteride” that caused his suicide. I tried this last year for my baldness and felt the worst depression of my life…with fuller hair. I now love my short hair and am happier with less hair. Finasteride has some nasty side effects and I have read that Jonathon Brandis was on Finasteride for hair loss before his death.
