Your awesome man ! I need that ! Great information and advice and learning what you say yes thank you so much! Man keep it coming with your great content really appreciate it !
Thanks Adam for this valuable information I really like this short info videos format, 3 1/2 hrs video is just I little to long for me ( longer than watching titanic lol)
When there’s more loads than trucks I post my truck as available and wait for email offers. When I’m in a bad spot I call on the highest paid loads and get moving where I need to go. Live and learn.
Also plz advise, how important is to keep going with a factoring company. I’m with Triumph Business Capital for almost an year and close to renewal the term for next year. Is it safe to work with brokers without factoring?? And what should be the strategy to book a load with a shipper.
It not safe to work with brokers. Some brokers are not allowed by my factoring company. The factoring company is everything without them we’re all fucked
I have never factored a load in 20 years. Only ever had 1 bill go unpaid for $800. Factoring does not garuntee payment, unless you have no recourse factoring which is expensive. If you a factor a load and they don't get paid, they will get the money back from you. They can help collect unpaid freight bills, that is a plus. I am signed up with a factoring company but have never used it. probably never will. you can do credit checks that way. You can credit check them, ask for references, etc on your own. If I had factored at 2.5% for the last 20 years I would have paid approximately $125,000 in factoring fees. I have been burned for $800 during that time.....I think I will continue to do it my way. Just do dilligence on checking out brokers
I did loads, many loads for Schneider, all of a sudden this agent for Schneider decides not to pay me by saying I never delivered the load. That’s when I started factoring and got paid…
@@mh9113 Almost an year with them. They are good. Don’t pay TONU but can invoice upon your request, once get funds from the broker, they put those in “reserve cash” ask again to release funds and they do. Sometimes, they charged me ACH fee more than once for one transaction but returned to me upon request. So be vigilant and ask for any extra charge. 3times they didn’t purchased the invoices for 2days and contacted them and asked them what’s going on but got funds on 3rd day. Overall they are not bad.
If you sign up with a factoring company like I did they will give you a list of brokers that will work with you and how much experience other brokers require until they will work with you.
@@markm0000 Exactly. I didn't want to sign up with factoring but once I learned brokers could stiff you I figured it was worth having the ability to credit check them and have their legal department go after the payment. And they have pre-approved brokers already. I'm with Haulpay by Com-freight.
@@willmann30 Every factoring is the good until they screw you over some fine print legal garbage. I’m with RTS at 2.75% and they’ve been very easy to work with.
I have a question about I am bad situation in Florida. I brought a load from Dallas, TX and drop it Walmart Florida. When I took the load the broker comments dropped trailer Saturday and pick up empty trailer Sunday but until know I don't get back my trailer three days. The broker not answering her phone and not respond at all I am asking you what should I do please help?
First, If this is your only trailer, don't ever again take a load from a broker that has you dropping the trailer anywhere ever. You will get screwed every time. for now, your only hope is to beg and plead for Walmart to unload your trailer. It probably won't work though. I have a feeling all you can do is wait and hope it's unloaded soon. Is there anything in your contract with the broker about getting paid for being delayed? Leave them a message every time you call. send emails, be a real pain in the butt for them. If they have a boss, or it's a bigger broker, try getting someone else on the phone, somebody thats higher up than them. Please learn from this lesson and don't ever drop your trailer again. Unfortunately you are probably going to be a loser on this load. If it wasn't Walmart, you might have a better chance. you could Always offer them money to unload your trailer...see if it works
Adam, could you do a video on carrier packets and getting set up with a broker? Havent done this yet, Ive mostly stuck with CH, but have the freedom to do what i want
You need to have your paperwork pdf’s saved on your phone ready to go. W9, Operating Authority, Factoring notice of assignment letter or void check, and valid Insurance certificate with the brokers address on it. Then fill out whatever contract the broker wants and send that paperwork to the broker and their carrier relations email if they have one. I can get it done now in 15 minutes on my phone. I wouldn’t spend too much time reading the contract or using their quickpay. If you’re getting paid on a load a couple hours of detention isn’t worth fighting over. Contact the broker once you get to the location and in a dock, then one hour after the appointment has passed, and then when they’re done and you have all the load details or signed bills.
Hi. I just got my dot and looking for freight. I'm signing my first dispatching service. The paperwork wants a signature for power of attorney. Do they all want this?
I don’t know it’s been times I checked the 15 day average on DAT and I was still able to get an extra $500 or $600 $700 more I think it depends on how bad they want to move that load

I noticed Caroll Fullmer has a lot of Mack trucks. See if they have any for sale.
That right there goes straight to an o/o's or carriers bottom line - powerful advice!
This one was for me. Thank you!😊
Very informative! Thank you so much!!
Great Vlog you are awesome!
Thank you Sir , it is very important info .
Do you have any tips for companies that don't have good drivers, that don't communicate and have ragged equipment?
Take 2 weeks off then quit
Cash says you should just shake them upside down by the ankles until the nicked fall out.
Great info 👍
Great Vlog!
These are some great tips✔️🙏

Starting off with a new authority, were you ever denied loads because your MC was brand new?
Heyyyy
Worst they can do is say no. Tell them to have a good day and say you hope they'll consider you in the near future.

Yes, but what I'm saying is, you didn't ask for $5000 on a $1500 mile load. Some people do, then blame the broker for screwing them
We should be controlling the market if it wasn't for these dudes taking loads for cheap
Yo yo let's gooooo
Very good job. I like these kind of videos. You are always very helpful. Have a great day!
