Thanks for the info. So JJ Keller has the driver applications and all individual paperwork??? Don't want ask a dumb question. Just want to make sure. Or is their other sources you get the so called outlines from. If so would you be willing too share the site's as well.
For some companies insurance sets the rules...it does for mine. bigger companies have more flexibility. And some consider that in 10 years you are considered a new driver because they figure in 10 years your skills have diminished. I happen to disagree with that, but he who has the gold makes the rules right?
Does that non cdl driver need to have a pre-employment drug screening? I'm starting owner op for myself as a non cdl. I don't believe I need to be enrolled in the consortium, but not sure about a pre-employment drug screening, or if I need to have any of that stuff on hand.
Eye opener for me and my husband. We are barely starting out. He is been a company driver for a long time. We are buying our own truck. We ale looking to buy a 53' trailer. (No reefer) Do you know where we can get one? We are in Arizona.
Does the Drug & Alcohol testing results have to be in a separate file or can I keep them with the driver qualification file? I have all driver files locked up in a drawer that only I and my manger have access, is this fine for the DOT?
Thanks for the video. All the paperwork does the file need to be printed out and kept in a file cabinet or can it be kept on digital though a external hard drive, cloud, usb type deal?
driver files are supposed to be on paper kept in a secure location where only authorized persons can access it. if you are a one man show the security part is no big deal
@DIY SEMI so all I need to do is to order the MVR record and keep it with the other documents I have on file ? Im asking because I've been paying $200 to do this all this time and $170 for drug and alcohol program renewal, so I just need to know if I can do the DQ for myself
If I am hiring new drivers with no history of driving experience, but have cdl. How do I fill out the safety performance and drug alcohol history records when they don't have none. I only got the mvr and pre employment drug test. What do I do in this case.
Hey. So I just started my Authority on Sept 3 and I’m SUPER new to all of this. Got my CDL in August. Well, my question is I’m ready to start driving and this entrance audit has been on the back of my mind. I called Foley Services and started the DQF process and they said it can take up to 21 days. Am I allowed to take loads or do I need to wait until it’s fully completed. I do have my portal login and it says 100% compliant on the main menu. The question is do I need to wait till it’s 100% completed?
Thanks for info!! Question if my partner is getting their CDL & we’re driving our on truck but they haven’t ever had a CDL job do I still do the 10 years verification of just regular jobs?
@@Tammy-WhammyTV I know this thread is a few yeras old now, but when I was hired as a company driver for a mega-carrier, we had to do it for our previous regular job (I was in construction prior) as well as our 3 days of company orientation, so yes, not just driving jobs.
any advice on new entry safety audit?? Very new to this. is a texas driving record same as MVR? started business in september 2020 but the texas driving record was done on March of 2020. Is it still good or did it need to be recent? PLEASE HELP! This is for single truck own authority. Please help

Good info 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
That's a mountain of paperwork to keep current. I see the validity of most of it, but who supplies 10 years of work history these days?
Just ordered a few for my files. Thank you for doing this =D

They have it all in the DQ file package
Love the channel, and this information is very useful. Can you tell me where do you get all of the documents that you have shown

Why can’t a company hire a driver with experience multiple years but has none in the last 10 years? Is it insurance related?

usually they will hire you, but consider you a new driver
What do we do with the files after they have been filled out???
They have to be in a place that can be locked with limited access
Can you do a video on the recommend factoring companies in your opinion?
Great info. Thanks
Keep them coming 👍
Wow a lot of stuff thank you
What if I'm hiring a non cdl driver with no work history in the past 10 yrs but have a clean driving record
I figured it out

@@bs-pu3dg yes because your going to be operating a commercial vehicle
So companies can't smear you with a DQF like they do with the DAC report?
dqf is a private internal file....not to be shared with anyone
Is the driver qualification file supposed to be kept in the truck when you have multiple drivers or in the carrier business office

Hello Sir. Where can I get all these forms? New Carrier.
Do you recommend a company that manages those
for me at least at the beginning?

so does this file goes inside the truck? or can stay in the office.?
must stay in the office
@@DIYSEMI thanks
do I need an application of employment if I’m the only one driving ?
Not really.... But it looks good if you do.
Do you have a video on how to upload the forms on the FMCSA?
you don't. they stay with you
OOKAY. I miss understood. I heard you say something about uploading 😬
should they be in printed form, or digital copy could work, like in my cloud drive, locked with password
Digital backup is good, but should have printed copies. For instance employee files are supposed to be kept in a locked secure location.
@@DIYSEMI Thank you for the reply, I have like 200 employee, 40 of them active, is it ok, if I just print them? all are digitally signed
