I have invested 5 months deep into learning Forex and made some future decisions with Forex business, but somewhere in my head, one thing was really disturbing from the start when I came to know that we are not purchasing or selling anything, which means there is not any value rather than just speculation to earn money. I watched lots of videos but not any single shiekh said That CFD is halal. Alhamdulillah, my concept is clear: my Rizq is not depends on Forex or If I do Forex, then only I will be wealthy, but Allah is raziq. @@rahimnawab5991 There is nothing wrong in purchasing and selling an asset that is a Shariah Compliant asset whether it is stock, crypto coin or any other asset online offline. The problem comes when you trade derivatives or CFD's in which you are just making a contract with a broker and it does not have any value. Secondly, the problem comes when you use leverage or do the margin trading although in spot trading like stocks or Crypto. When you use margin you have to trade derivatives, you cannot margin trade in spots. I left forex but I didn't leave trading, now shifted towards spot crypto Alhmdolillah with the grace of Allah my knowledge of trade did not get wasted and I am totally satisfied with the spot module.

Just Don't go for the future, options, and CFDs in addition to leverage. And make sure of one thing: traditionally, stocks were transferred to you within two days after buying them. Look for a ruling in Islam about transferring an asset after two days, and if your broker is transferring you within a day, how is he doing this?
Sadly many brothers, are promoting this form of “trade” to the youth as way to gain financial freedom, whilst also pushing a scholars opinion, just to sell courses and signals.

Lets take an example" if you transfer some money to your friend in foreign country to buy some gold(/silver/platinum/foreign currency) for you as the gold there is pure & price is less(good) & keep that gold in with you in your secure wallet. After some time say a year later the price of gold goes up & you call your friend to sell that gold & give me the margin & let the base amount with you as I will let you know what to buy, silver or any other currency after analyzing the market. So its Halal & we do it for centuries, the modern form is Forex. where your friend is replaced by the broker & transactions are done online with your own will. You hold the currency as much as you want & can sell any time you want. you got the full control.

He is not saying trading as a whole is gambling but some selected times of trading like options, futures and other work similarly like gambling. Shari'a prohibit trading what you don't possess and short term trades that are 100% speculatives. It's simply a way of supporting and engaging in the consumption of peoples wealth in unjustly. Respectfully i disagree sir . Most of the people who lose money in forex are greedy people who treat forex as gambling . If you know technical analysis and smart money concept/ ICT , you have better chances of winning as they focus on liquidity and where big banks sell or buy. 2) Secondly, the forex algorithm is the picture of whats happening to currencies in real life . Name 1 fiqh council that has allowed forex trading as halal. Simply put, forex trading is dealing in imaginary items. There is no actual currency exchange taking place. The speculation and shifts in pips is the point of forex and that is clearly not allowed in the syariah

World record on Robbins worldcup is more than 11000% in 1 year, so he was not gambling and winning for 12 consecutive months. But like you said most people think it's a get rich quick plan and they are gambling without beeing ready to put in the effort to learn... so they lose.

Speculative behaviour can not be avoided even in normal real trades. So, speculative trading by itself does not make a trade haram. Almir's view, I think, is that forex trading is not taking possession of real goods and that it is purely speculative, gambling and not real like futures and others. This is what makes it haram.
@@BravoMoeez stock unlike what was explained is like owning a share in a company. If the company performs over time you make profit and vice visa. This is why long-term focused spot forex and crypto trading isn't considered haram. Whereas futures, option and derivatives has to do with gaining and lossing for predicting the price of an asset without actually buying them. That is why they use the term long and short and not buy and sell. In Stock and spot you actually buy the asset while in futures options and derivatives you bet on the assets.

Yes, around 80-90% of traders lose money, and that's because many of them approach trading like gambling. They lack a proper understanding of the market, the economics behind price movements, and the correlations between different assets. Many also lack discipline, consistency, and are focused on making quick profits rather than developing a solid, long-term strategy. In fact, people with this mindset would likely lose money in any venture they pursue, even if they opened a small shop right in front of their house. Their lazy nature and lack of commitment to learning and hard work would prevent them from succeeding, no matter the opportunity. Trading, like any business, requires dedication, patience, and discipline to be profitable.

I was researching this topic , some type of brokers, you actually own the money and not a cfd contract, but the problem is with the leverage because the broker will gain benefit from the loan and that clearly a riba, but now you say that it is not a loan in the first place , so thats mean if a broker gain a benefit from a postion you enterd that not a riba but just a commission taken by the broker for offering you the service ? If i'm wrong, someone corrects me.
But i have a question there is a margin level where you can stop trading, that means you are not loosing all of your money, example you are trading 100$ and if it came 90 $ you can stop trading. Is this also gambling ⁉️

@AlmirColan but in my country (Nigeria) there are some people called themselves agent, they didn't own a house or shops but they'll meet with the owner having a contract with them that they'll look for someone to rent it and collect some percentage both from the owner of the assets and the person that rent it, is this permissible or it's haram

Forex CFDs are the same as placing bets in a casino - there's no difference. Both involve no ownership or value, just speculation in a zero-sum game. Placing chips on a number is a contract, and a CFD is a contract. Both generate profit if the guess is correct. No difference.
@@AlmirColan Agreed that FX CFD is prohibhited Islamically but there is a major difference when you compare it with Gambling & Gambling dens since in FX, trades are taken after doing fundamental & technical analysis & other considerations while in Gambling, bets are placed without any proper due-diligience i.e. pure blind bets.

First, stock markets. Second, futures market "hedging" on intentions of protecting your assets you own or assets you "confirm wanted to own physically in the future" from price volatility.
No hating, just wanna say that one shouldn't follow a different scholar on every opinion, if you follow a certain scholar, follow their every judgment. And secondly forex is smth considered halal by the majority since it is not betting or gambling and definitely not even close to a get rich quick scheme. Always do your research on smth and so it of you are certain with yourself. If you doubt smth, don't do it, make sure you sre certain. May Allah guide us all and help us in our efforts to earn money in Halal ways and use it to support our religion. Salamualikum.

the problem is not the concept from Scholars that consider it Haram the problem is Brokers they give leverage to make money and they charge fees, which is basically in simple term loan with interest!
@@Sarif294 well brokers i know have fixed fees. And funded accounts have a 20% fixed fee on Profits. Meaning if u don't make nothing, u don't pay anything. Looking at interest, these aren't the same. Different brokers have different options.

In my opinion, gambling is when you are using maximum percentage of your investment and wether you earn or loss big amount no matter what costs you. That is a pure greedy type. And you will end up getting nothing.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think these days, you can achieve the same results with any basic camera, and most editing software offers similar capabilities.

Ownership is simple to have the power to whenever finish your asset or to keep it for as longer as you want. Simple So I think we do have the ownership of the asset. 2nd. I have a question ... The forex market have two type of brokers, where thier is deal desk (DD) and non deal desk (NDD). The deal desk have two type, which is CFD's and Mrket makers, which is haram. But for the non deal desk would it be halal to use them if they only take commission from spered and they provide ECN " electronic communication network" and STP " straight through Process" to send orders straight to the liquidity pool.
Amir considers Crypto halal since he himself is into crypto (check his website) but since he doesn't do spot forex it's haram. In my opinion crypto is more on the side of Haram as it has no government backing while currencies do.

Respectfully i disagree sir . Most of the people who lose money in forex are greedy people who treat forex as gambling . If you know technical analysis and smart money concept/ ICT , you have better chances of winning as they focus on liquidity and where big banks sell or buy.

World record on Robbins worldcup is more than 11000% in 1 year, so he was not gambling and winning for 12 consecutive months. Stock trading is considered halal by majority of scholars, yet that is also speculative or in your words "gambling".
Speculative behaviour can not be avoided even in normal real trades.
So, speculative trading by itself does not make a trade haram.
Almir's view, I think, is that forex trading is not taking possession of real goods and that it is purely speculative, gambling and not real like futures and others.
This is what makes it haram.

This is why long-term focused spot forex and crypto trading isn't considered haram. Whereas futures, option and derivatives has to do with gaining and lossing for predicting the price of an asset without actually buying them. That is why they use the term long and short and not buy and sell. In Stock and spot you actually buy the asset while in futures options and derivatives you bet on the assets.

They lack a proper understanding of the market, the economics behind price movements, and the correlations between different assets. Many also lack discipline, consistency, and are focused on making quick profits rather than developing a solid, long-term strategy.
In fact, people with this mindset would likely lose money in any venture they pursue, even if they opened a small shop right in front of their house. Their lazy nature and lack of commitment to learning and hard work would prevent them from succeeding, no matter the opportunity. Trading, like any business, requires dedication, patience, and discipline to be profitable.

I was researching this topic , some type of brokers, you actually own the money and not a cfd contract, but the problem is with the leverage because the broker will gain benefit from the loan and that clearly a riba, but now you say that it is not a loan in the first place , so thats mean if a broker gain a benefit from a postion you enterd that not a riba but just a commission taken by the broker for offering you the service ? If i'm wrong, someone corrects me.
But i have a question there is a margin level where you can stop trading, that means you are not loosing all of your money, example you are trading 100$ and if it came 90 $ you can stop trading. Is this also gambling ⁉️

The only problem in forex trading is cfd. Gambling word is not correct for specialy forex trading expert. For a beginner, it can be possible
Forex CFDs are the same as placing bets in a casino - there's no difference. Both involve no ownership or value, just speculation in a zero-sum game. Placing chips on a number is a contract, and a CFD is a contract. Both generate profit if the guess is correct. No difference.

@@Sarif294 well brokers i know have fixed fees. And funded accounts have a 20% fixed fee on Profits. Meaning if u don't make nothing, u don't pay anything. Looking at interest, these aren't the same. Different brokers have different options.

The forex market have two type of brokers, where thier is deal desk (DD) and non deal desk (NDD). The deal desk have two type, which is CFD's and Mrket makers, which is haram. But for the non deal desk would it be halal to use them if they only take commission from spered and they provide ECN " electronic communication network" and STP " straight through Process" to send orders straight to the liquidity pool.
