I played this too back in the day on PS2 and I agree that some of the levels were nightmares, and I remember getting as far as the Halloween level but not sure if I completed the story, as I didn't remember how it ended. Your retrospect on Republic Commando was good as well, I also played that, and agree that it is well overdue for a remake with more missions, improved AI and game mechanics and gunplay. I think one of my other favourite games of that era was Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis which I spent many hours playing, but fortunately that game did get a sort of spiritual successor in Jurassic World: Evolution 1 and 2. I think the other that also got a lot of game time was GTA: San Andreas, and I did spent some time combing the forests for bigfoot because me and my friends at school would chat about where we might find one so we all searched on our own games. Ironically I did eventually find a sasquatch, however it was in a different game produced by Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. I don't know if you'd cover a game that was that recent, but the original was 2010 and already feels like a modern classic IMO. 😃

Love your videos mate. I like how you include both the reviews at the time of the release and your sources at the end. I agree with the Snake garbage level being the most difficult, I hated it so much. For me this game along with SWBF and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game were my most played as a kid on PS2.

Your intro perfectly represents Midwest suburban American households in the early 2000s. Because dear goodness as a kid, I would have never been allowed to play this game.
