Yeah ppl need to realise MGS in general is a stealth sandbox and the open ended level design didn't originate in MGSV, MGSV only introduced an open world and a longer gameplay run time for people to realise it but the truth is its has been like that since day one (Not dissing MGSV love that game too 💪)
3:31 Wait, so that doesn't count as a kill? Haven't played MGS3 in a while, still got a bit to learn. Edit: Dug through comments a bit and found a response from you to someone else regarding environmental "kills" not counting as kills by the player.
>Non-Lethal >Sends two men falling into the river below >*Non-Lethal?* Snake only survived his fall due to plot armor. Those poor dudes are with The Sorrow, now. Edit: I am seriously questioning if the uploader understands the definition of "Non-Lethal." In any case it's entertaining to watch. I can't deny the creativity with some of these.
My client Snake has never killed anyone in his life, those two men on the bridge fell on their own and the men with the barrels.... eh rubber explosions Real answer: the game considers all environmental takedowns as non-lethal and doesn't count towards a kill regardless if the guard survives or not e.g. poisoning them, explosive barrels, dropping off high heights do not count etc
Can we all agree that tranq pistols are cheap? Especially in mgs3 and V. You demonstrate that well in the beginning... And why breaking the habit of using it enhances the experience
I think tranq pistols are kinda of a snowball type of weapon Like idk if you remember ur first playthrough's or if u watch newcomers play the series for the first time. U ever notice they kinda switch between the stealthy pistol/AR and the tranq gun like they only use the other if they've ran out of ammo or their suppressor has worn off? I mean from a newcomer perspective telling them the tranq pistol > 1911/SOCOM must be so strange to them LMAO Like ok so the the tranq gun can only shoot one bullet at a time, it takes multiple body shots to take down guard's and if u want to take them out instantly u need to headshot them everytime and they will wake up eventually. V.S the stealthy AR/pistol which is semi auto, can gun down guard's in quick body shots, can be instakilled via head shots and has a lesser margin for error if u miss ur shot. When u explain it like that it seems the lethal options seem op lmao But nope lol its the funny no kill gun, i believe the tranq guns are a great trainer as u learn to work through its weaknesses and make its strengths surpass its other options, for example if the best way to use is to get headshots ur gonna get better at headshots, if the slow reload speed is bothering you, learn tactical reloading, range an issue LMAO use the binoculars strat. Now the gun has snowballed into this absolute monster of a weapon that can be used in most situations. Not saying this is perfect game balance its just my theory why the the tranq pistols are the way they are. (Enjoy this paragraph of text 😁)

Its non lethal because the game doesnt count those as kills

I always wanted to change the Snake's model to one of the soldiers. They always looked so cool to me. Is there a mod for something like that yet?
Don't think so yet
There is a nexus mods page for MGS3 try there
How did you make the gun look so blue in the HUD ?
