I have the same truck, I would think you could raise both back seats and pad out the floor, cozy up to the laptop watch some 3rd rock from the sun and get some pretty good ZZZ. Maybe??
I can never be sold on any air mattress. First and last time I used an air matress, it got a leak and I woke up on the ground and slept on the ground the rest of that trip. I recently bought a 4 inch tri fold mattress that will fit like your mattress. I still need to test it out. Right now it is in the bed under a tonneua cover but plan on trying it on the back seat of my truck.
Your not the only who thinks it’s dumb Ram didn’t out a 12v accessory plug in the back. It should have two back there and one in the center console. USB is nice but it doesn’t replace 12v.

Definitely better than sleeping in any of the seats, including the front seats which (in our 2019 Ram 1500 Limited) reclines back to a near flat position. If the cord was too short, an inverter plugged into the back would work too. We also purchased the WeatherTech laser cut window shades which would work perfectly for privacy if camping down in the truck. I'd also bring a sheet and blanket to eliminate the sound made by moving around on that thing! (Sounded like farting! lol) And heavens yes, a nice full sized pillow is an absolute! I actually have not had the chance to use it the trip I bought it for got rained out but I can imagine it is the best bet for sleeping somewhat comfortably in the back of the truck
Isn’t it a mixed bag though 4/50k vs typical 3year/ 60k standard? There are a lot of rovers in my town, but mostly driven by people that 90,000 is chickenfeed , so frequent repair bills doesn’t phase them (I’m not one of them).
Graph Guy true lots of old rich people buy them we can definitely afford it but I never want to own a car like that when the warranty is off I have a Porsche with no warranty and any trip to the dealer is 1k it seems

I see a ton of people who make $70k/year and think they can afford a $70k truck.. they can't. Porsche has the number one reliability rating, BUT as is the case with all Euro cars... repair prices are stiffer than for their counterparts.... sorta. Anyway great channel.

Roy Fan as soon as the engine stops the heat and a/c stop cooling and or heating the vehicle so it really depends what temperature you are camping in you may need a supplemental heat or cooling source while the engine is off
