    Thank you for all your videos, I’ve watched almost all GRE related videos, and from this list I know and familiar of all the words!! I used Manhattan 500 essential flash cards and 500 advanced too! Who knew the human brain can learn 1000 words in a month! I study 34 words a day and review the words the day before! I’ll be taking my GRE tmrw at home! Again I’ve shared your channel with my peers ! Thank you again!

    I'm so glad to your channel. I have developed so many vocabularies, in that, I find English language so easy. I do write articles on my Facebook platform, anything about contemporary issues, and I do get kudos about my grammar usage. However, most of my friends do inbox saying how tough my English is. Well, some do say that it's beyond the natives'. Greetings from Nairobi Kenya.
    Regards.

    This series of videos are by far the best available on youtube. I am going to revise from here. I have a request. Can you please make a comprehensive video on AWA section. I have seen the one that you already uploaded titled 2 simple rules. However, I feel it would be really helpful for many if you elaborate the paragraphs or explain one essay as an example. I hope that's not too much to ask for.

    Hey Philip,
    I scored 168 in quant but only 155 in verbal. Despite learning a lot of vocab, I coldn't really do well in the sentense equivalence and completion questions. How should I prepare for them?

    Hey man..heard that the actual gre quant is tougher than ets powerprep 1and 2 tests...so which is the ideal material to prepare from to score 166 + in Quants?

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +1

      Use powerprep but also manhattan resources, which are hard

    hey man got a question
    Museum directors understand the need to establish the provenance of every work of art they acquire, from its creation to its most recent owner; such establishment can be hindered, however, by a number of obstacles, including disingenuous dealers who attempt to _______ the truth.
    so here " such establishment can be hindered, however, by a number of obstacles"...in this sentence i wasn't able to understand "however" here. how to identify the meaning of the sentence if however was given there between two continuous sentences? without the however it made sense...whats happening here ??
    How to answer such questions?

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +1

      The however can go anywhere in the sentence and just means 'I am about to contrast what I just said with something different now'. A turning point in the sentence. The however doesn't have to come at the exact moment of turning, but near it.

    Hey philip,
    Whether these words are enough for gre verbal or we should see some other vocabulary....

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +1

      If you watch all my vocab videos that will cover about 50% of the words on gre, but there are other sources to go through...such as the 1853 word list for gre on scribd

    I actually have a question. So I currently graduated with my BA and now I’m thinking about going back to an old school for nursing and might have to take the accuplacer test again. Do you think my GRE book is good to study for that ? Thank you 🙂

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +1

      There is a lot of overlap but also a lot of differences with accuplacer. Maybe 50% of the test is different. You really need a specialist book. Hope that helps and good luck cassandra!
